“We were there last night for a friend’s birthday. Place was packed but we had a reservation and were seated quick. Apps, entrees and desserts were all delicious and huge servings. The pineapple tropical margarita was so tasty! Our server Dayana was very sweet and attentive. She made my friend’s birthday very special. We will definitely be going back!”

I must have ordered take out 100 times and they are incredibly consistent in quality food and are always quick.Eating in the restaurant today was nothing less than excellent. The service is spectacular, the food is even better being so fresh out of the kitchen. Small relaxed atmosphere, and perfectly clean.I 100% recommend TOMO enough. Not only will I keep eating takeout, I’m going to make it a point to eat in the restaurant. Great experience.”

“Really good food and great prices. I had an Emma, which really hit the spot. Everyone like their wraps and burgers. Also had a cherry turn over which was super flakey. Only downside is that tables are not wiped down much. I did it myself. The service is counter order no waiters although the orders are brought to table. This does make the price lower. “Nice to get a waffle that is actually cooked here as compared to frozen ones. Good coffee. A little pricey, but I guess most places are these days. $19 for a waffle with side of 2 sausage links and coffee. Maple syrup offered for an additional 2 or 3 bucks can't remember.”

“We came as a group of four. Parking is super easy in the plaza. The choice for all-you-can-eat is amazing for us who loves meat. The iPad for self ordering is really convenient, and our service guy is really nice in refilling water and changing grill. I'm a huge fan of the seaweed salad and cheesy corn. Fried rice is ok...less flavorful and too little of portion. But the quality of the meat is perfect in Albany. We almost got all kinds of beef if not second round. First time doing lamb and got really surprised by the juicy and flavorful meat. Love the fact that they have ice cream and smores for dessert. Didn't get to drink much this time but would love to come back next time to have another feast.”

“I got the lamb kebab wrap with everything on it. I couldn't recommend it more! The lamb was cooked perfectly and seasoned well, and the pita had the right amount of meat and fillings in it (and it didn't fall apart while I ate it).”

“This was my first time here, we were in Albany for appointment and were trying to find a vegan place. I didn’t know most places in Albany are closed on Mondays. Wizard burger blew our minds. The friendly staff were patient as we took a bit to take it all in. The atmosphere was great from the music to the decor, they also have a free library and can play retro video games. Onto the food, my husband had a burger and fries that he said was perfect. I had the Buffalo chik’n sandwich, and fries, I couldn’t finish mine due to the size. It was about 5 tenders cooked perfectly and smothered with Buffalo and ranch. The fries were hot, and not greasy like most places. The price for 2 entrees and 2 Mexican coca-colas were $30. Not bad for an all vegan meal with large portions. I highly recommend Wizard burger, and look forward to going back.”

“A southern brunch that was so good. 4 of us went to celebrate a birthday and we all enjoyed it immensely. I had the Dad and it was absolutely delicious. We loved the fried green tomatoes, and the tater tots. I had a bourbon bacon bloody Mary that was out of this world. “An awesome brewery with great food, known nationally for their IPA's. All their food is made in house. There is tons of seating but don't let that fool you, they do fill up quick. They have beer types for everyone to include dark, sour, light, IPA, cider and usually host guest taps. The food menu is pretty extensive and also have something for everyone. Parking usually is pretty easy and the customer service is top notch. Highly recommend this as a must stop destination in Albany, NY!!!”

“Gorgeous little gem of a store. Their employees are incredibly nice and friendly, and the yuzu egg tart in particular is a creamy delight. I'd love to try the chocolate one if I can ever get there in time, because they rightfully sell out of tarts quickly.”

“Good mooring! Are you craving some delicious ice cream?! The perfect spot to satisfy the cravings is here. The parking is street parking, but I always find parking no matter when I go. When you first enter the store, it gives you a warm vibe, which is perfect for eating ice cream! I went when it was high noon. When I got to the counter, Sam greeted me right away, and she offered excellent suggestions. It took me a while to decide on what to get because the menu has unique names. Sam offered me samples, which helped me make my decision. She was very professional even though I was standing there for a while, trying to decide what to get with asking for multiple samples. In my personal experience, some people get impatient when you can't decide right away. You can't go wrong with any flavor! The ice cream was super tasty and amazing. The seating area is very cozy and organized. It feels like you got teleported to your living room. One thing that caught my eye was the chess board on the table. Make sure to clean up after yourself because we all know you don't leave garbage around in your living room. Overall, I have to say the experience was amazing because of Sam. Shout out to Sam!”

“We decided to try Albany Ale and Oyster House on a chilly, rainy Wednesday afternoon since we had to be on New Scotland Avenue for an afternoon doctor appointment. I'm so glad we did, and also happy we arrived just as they were opening because we were able to sit at the bar and visit with one of the owners, Mia. We tried a flight of beer opting for all pilsners, one each from Italy France, Czechia and from our own New York region; all tasty, just the right amount of foam and nice and chilled. I ordered the Beyond brat which comes with comes with kale slaw and honey mustard, crispy potato chips in a brown paper bag for soaking up the oil and keeping them crispy, and a mixed green salad with the best sesame honey dressing. I love good salads and this one was perfect, with dressing on each lettuce leaf. Mia said they take their salads seriously, and you can tell. My partner had the Reuben and he proclaimed it the best he ever had. Overall the taste, presentation and preparation of the food was perfect. Combined with the cozy atmosphere and the friendliness of the owner and all who work there; Albany Ale and Oyster House is now one of my top favorites in the areaVegetarian options: In addition to the Beyond Brat they offer Beyond Burger and some interesting salads.”

“I was CRAVING chicken Kashmiri bad tonight but my husband is not a big fan of the spice in traditional Indian food. As a compromise, we settled on Galleria 7 in Latham, a multi-ethnic food market with excellent vendors, including @Shalimar express.I called around 5 to ask if Shalimar express makes chicken Kashmiri. The nice man answered, told me no and respectfully hung up the call. Within five minutes, the owner, Leo, called me back to tell me that although they do not have chicken Kashmiri as a menu item, they were able to make a modified version and call is chili chicken. We arrived around 615 and Leo greeted us with a smile and a “it was you!!!” He proceeded to explain how he would custom make a dish for me and would make it suitable for my dietary needs. He really didn’t not have to but this man went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience.We received the food within 15 minutes and it was DELICIOUS. The chicken was soft and tender, the garlic naan was flavorful and the veggies were absolute perfection. My husband had the Curry chicken and loved every bite. Leo even came and spoke to us about his history, his family and his love for serving his friends.We never post on this page but Leo made this experience such a memorable one. He went far beyond great customer service and truly the food was Amazing. If you are ever in all Latham, give them a try.”

“I got a delicious meatball sub. Everything about it was fantastic, bread & meatballs.If there was anything I think could have been a little better, I wish there was a little more sauce and some cheese on it.But you can't beat the taste and service.I'll be back and probably for another meatball sub . The cookies are addicting too.”
