“We were visiting some friends in the area and were looking for a coffee. We loved this little quaint place. Coffee was great, had some oatmeal that was delicious. The croissant with egg and bacon that my wife was great. Definitely would be back!!! Staff was very friendly and courteous.“

“One of our favorite restaurants! The food is incredibly flavorful, and everyone from the owner to the greeter to the waiters are a pleasure to talk with, making the experience that much better. It can get a bit noisy, but the tables are spaced so you're not right on top of your neighbor. Suggestions- Apps- Malfatti, Polpette, Cauliflower Sformatino Main- Spinach & Roasted Garlic Risotto, Cherry Braised Short Ribs, Sunday Gravy, Braised Veal Cheek. Dessert- Beignets, Carrot Cake These are our favorites, but I've heard no complaints about any dishes.“

“The food was good, I ordered just a waffle and bacon recently, but unfortunately, the TV was tuned to Newsmax and I was told "it couldn't be changed". Now that I know the extreme political views of those in charge, I won't be spending any more of my money there. Nor will I recommend the Lakeside Diner any more. “The three of us went for a late breakfast. We were seated quickly. The place was about 40% full. We ordered food and then the lunch crowd arrived. Our server was very good and took our order with some special notes without fail. This is our fifth time eating here, and Giovanna did not fail on the food. Cheese steak sandwhich had Sautee onions and plenty of thinly sliced steak. It was delicious. We also had eggs over easy, which was done perfectly. The eggs had those fried little eggs of egg whites. Link sausage was tender, juicy, and very flavorful. Scramble eggs were light and tasty, sliced avocados on top were fresh and complemented the dish nicely. It also came with a fresh fruit cup. A complementary refresh on the coffee is a nice touch. The only downside is that when it's busy, the wait time is long. We have waited .45 mins for a table. Street parking only.“

“My family and I each enjoyed fantastic service and food at Pazza today. We were offered seats in or outdoors and chose to sit inside. I have celiac and absolutely loved their gluten-free penne shrimp fra diavolo! So spicy and delicious. We all left feeling happy and very full!“

“So many drink options! Excellent coffee, you can customize in every way possible. They offer lots of recommendations if you're overwhelmed and can't make a decision. Servers are always patient, friendly and knowledgeable. Scones are good and the breakfast wraps are the absolute best. The only two drawbacks are that it is quite pricey, and it takes an awfully long time for food orders. I would get breakfast here every morning but it's at least a 15 min wait if you order any food, and there's almost always a line to order. Overall, it's a very good coffee shop and provides an excellent alternative to just the usual Dunkin and Starbucks in the area.Parking: There are only a few spots in front of the coffee shop but you can park further down past C&RC or near Ernie's, if needed.“

“So I was invited to give this restaurant a try. When I arrived I parked in the plaza lot. Walked in and was greeted and sat. The restaurant was very nice. My friend and I were served by a great group of servers and managers. We had a variety of food, but the shrimp and pepper chicken were the best! I enjoyed all the flavors and variety. This restaurant is byob. I truly enjoyed my time and my meal!“

“This was my second time coming to the restaurant the first time I came for a dine and experience, which was awesome the second time it was a pick up order to go the day before Christmas Eve. My daughter was in town and we needed something to eat while we traveled for Christmas . I ordered the spring roll the wonton soup and the chili and basil fried rice. I really enjoyed their wonton soup. The broth has a lot of flavor in it and it's always consistently good. The fried rice has egg, bell pepper, chili, and fried onion in it. The restaurant on the inside is actually quite beautiful and has some great artwork on the wall. Just not the picture and added it here. I will definitely be back. This location is always packed for takeout as well as for dinner and I'd really enjoy their food.“

“As always, Varka impressed. The menu airs on the expensive side, but it's worth it for the fresh fish and quality of the food and service. We celebrated my husband's birthday tonight. We were seated promptly, quickly asked which type of water we would like and the sever was over within minutes for our cocktail order. We had some west coast oysters and a Greek meatball appetizer, which were properly spaced, followed by two fish entrees - it's a smooth operation here. The almond cake for dessert was also lovely. Overall, delicious food and a great date night that wasn't rushed and much appreciated.“

“Had a wonderful experience at al di la! We arrived a little before 12 pm and was empty so we got to enjoy the quiet but it got filled up while we were sitting. The atmosphere is calm. There isn't a very bug menu but the food is really good. We had their famous salad pizza and didn't disappoint! We also ordered a hot coca which was perfect for this cold rainy day and a delicious salmon pizzaoili. The Eggplant rollantini was good as well. Will definitely be coming back here!“

“Was here first week of opening. Not good, however tonight was different. A small pasta dish was over $20, but a salad was $14. If I recall. Y not offer a small tossed with entrees? Other entrees good. Service slow and very few diners. Had to ask for water refills, needs to improve.“

“Like stepping back into the past. Place is warm and comfortable. Service is fast and friendly. Bar pies are the best. Super thin crust pizza and buffalo wings were delicious. There are Lionel trains in cases that are in amazing condition. Museum quality stuff! Very cool to take a look as your waiting to be seated or order a drink at the bar when your waiting for your to go order to finish up. All around great place. I have not really ordered anything else but buffalo wings and pizza, but so far it's the best wings and pies that I have had in a very long time. This place has been there for a long time and I have driven past it a million times. Finally I stopped in because a friend said their pizza was amazing. “Tawara is the hidden gem of NJ! I stumbled upon this restaurant during a road trip last year, and have made it a point to return to the area specifically so I can dine at Tawara again. This place makes the list as one of my favorite restaurants of all time. The pork buns are some of the most delicious things you will ever taste. The sunset roll, spicy beef and sashimi have all been fresh and incredible. Everything I’ve tried on their menu is top quality and taste. Raika is also an excellent hostess, bringing a warm and friendly vibe that makes you feel at home. Overall amazing and highly recommended!“

We actually found it years ago on a search for "best pizza in Bergen County" during the pandemic and we have driven half an hour to dine there weekly nearly every week since.
