“Food was outstanding and service top notch. Maybe one of the best NY Strip’s that I’ve ever had. We did not have a reservation, it was an impromptu date night but they got us right in. “I’m trying to put into words how absolutely incredible brunch at @jlawrencect was. If I had to rate from 0 - 10, I’d give it a 10 without any hesitation. @jlawrencect just recently opened so their space is brand new and beautifully decorated! The drinks were perfectly made, the food was delicious (seriously the tastiest brunch food I’ve had yet!) and the staff made our experience and time there wonderful! My top picks Drink - J. “The did was fantastic!! We enjoyed the French onion soup, the hot dog and the smash burger!!-absolutely delicious!! For dessert… wow! The pretzels with chocolate syrup were great! Not too sweet, just right!! And the hot chocolate lava cake was wonderful! A great time to spend with friends!!!“

“Tried this place for the first time today because my daughter wanted chicken tenders and this was the closest restaurant at the time of search. Service was great, even when they had a large party in a separate room. Chicken tenders had more dough than chicken and were over cooked but my daughter enjoyed the challenge. Mixed feelings on the steak tips sandwich... great, tender steak, but 'pepper sauce' was more vinegar than it was pepper. Will try again.“

“Now upon pulling up to this little spot one doesn't get a great impression. Its a small parking spot for a small restuarant...when walking in the feel of the place is homey yet a bit cramped. For some strange reason there are two different entrances to this lil pub which presents a bit of a draft issue in the colder months with people coming in and out of either side...other than the ambiance leaving much to desire the food was pleasantly good. I ordered the black cat burger which was slightly reminiscent of a rueben sandwhich with rye toast for buns, swiss,grilled onion,russian dressin....it arrived assembled and cooked to order. Nice size patty that was juicy flavorful and fresh. The onion rings were sparse but decent and all in all I would say it was good, I think that I might try it again in the summer for a better overall review.Edit: came back around the way here and the burgers weren't as good as I rememberedThe cod was a massive piece which is a good value but made for a clunky sammich. All in all its good but nothing that will wow you over atm.“

“We had the tuna bowl as an entree which was absolutely delicious, it left us hungry though after we finished. A bit more of the quinoa would have helped. The dressing on the tuna was so good, we asked to bring some home. Unfortunately, that dressing was not the same as we had at the restaurant. Bottom line: the food was great and we will go there again.“

“We walked in early on a Saturday evening to see if they had a table for 4 (after the restaurant we had originally booked looked grim...) and were immediately greeted with warmth and professionalism. They offered to create a 4 top for us in a quiet corner and whisked us to the table. The service and food that followed were both terrific. A great lesson in hospitality. Make people feel welcome and feed them terrific, straight forward food with attentive but not overbearing service and reasonable prices!“

“Went to dinner with friends last night.When we got there it was not crowded yet, so the initial drink and appetizer service seemed a bit slow.My wife got the Jalapeño Margarita, really nice.I ordered the Reuben Eggrolls, a bit disappointed, the cheese overpowered the corned beef, I knew the neat was there, but there was no flavor in it, pastrami would be a better meat choice for that, also the sauerkraut had no flavor. The Russian dressing was meh.We all had the Pistachio Crusted Salmon - ABSOLUTELY DYNAMITE!!!Will order that again, though I do want to try the Hot Honey Fried Chicken Sandwich first.Three of us had decaf cappuccin, those were dreamy, whomever made the foam for those, it was like silk.“

“I can honestly say this restaurant, is by far, our favorite place to dine. From the intimacy of the dining areas, the attentive staff and incredible cuisine. Many time you go out to eat where one of the courses is good. Here EVERYTHING is amazing. From appetizer to dessert it's all delicious. The hardest decision is what to order. My favorite is the cheese soufflé as a starter then the Beef Wellington and finish with their amazing chocolate soufflé. Our go to for special occasions or just a night out to spoil one self. This is a "don't miss"!“

“This place was really great! First time I'd ever been since they changed the name. Went for a fun night out with my nephews fiance. She's not from the area and I'd really hoped to show her some cool spots. This did not disappoint, even on a Tuesday. We got the loaded tots app and green monster pesto pizza. The tots were a but spicy, but nothing that burned our mouth. Just gave us a few hot flashes and some laughs. But really, the food was Excellent. We were there pretty late, saw the kitchen going home. Even as we were the only 2 ppl left, we'd asked the waitress if we were holding her up and she was so sweet and accommodating, never made us feel like we had to leave. I did tip well as a result. Would absolutely return!!!“

“We were running late and when we call they accommodated us. It’s a nice chill diverse spot. I love Norwalk!. Hubby is a chef so I am always looking for a place to impress. This place did it. It’s a decent spot for just about any event. Get the wings, get the burger, get the drinks. My hubby said the linguini and clams were decent. The bread is fresh and delicious. Everything is fresh made. I will return to try more items and try the patio. Thank you for your hospitality. ;)“

“Everything was great, but I would recommend the place knock down the smell of their floor cleaner. I found it overwhelming throughout the place. Some people like me are sensitive to chemical scents and it conflicts with the aroma of the food and drink.“

“Warm & welcoming, and a really nice meal. The turkey meatloaf is off the charts excellent, which is hard for turkey meatloaf to do but you will thank me later. The space feels in need of a modest makeover & the physical menus were a little beat up. I'll definitely be back, but hoping a few of these minor details aren't signs of complacency.“

“Had a Saturday lunch with friends and 18 month old twins-staff couldn't have been more understanding and accommodating. Had the turkey Chili- delicious! And went with the server's recommendation of beer (facehugger IPA), which went perfectly. Would definitely eat here again.“

“Great food. The appetizers were delicious. We had fried calamari with chorizos in a tomato based sauce that hit all the right notes. The ceviche was smooth, light, and delightful. We brought our own wine. One of the bottles cork broke and the manager was kind enough to remove the broken cork and put the wine in a decanter. Main courses were delicious and the churros and tres leches dessert were out of this world!.“
