“Gisellas has been our favorite go to Italian restaurant in DANBURY since it opened. Food is always delicious and consistent and the wait staff couldn’t be more accommodating. Unfortunately last night we had a different experience the moment we walked in the door. Hostess was very unfriendly and dismissive, no eye contact and acted like she was doing us a favor seating us! Thankfully, like always, the rest of our dining experience was amazing!“

“Discovered this place today on our way back from Stamford-- what a gem! The food was outstanding, the service was excellent, and the place was very clean. I highly recommend for dining in or taking out. Table space is limited-- I think most people get items to go-- but there are some choices inside and a couple of small tables outside.“

“We had the tuna bowl as an entree which was absolutely delicious, it left us hungry though after we finished. A bit more of the quinoa would have helped. The dressing on the tuna was so good, we asked to bring some home. Unfortunately, that dressing was not the same as we had at the restaurant. Bottom line: the food was great and we will go there again.“

“Awesome date night spot with amazing food and super lively vibe. Cool bar scene and main dining area has a fireplace. Our group shared a bunch of appetizers and starters (oysters and lobster cocktail). The Clam Chowder was great and refreshingly had an appropriate portion of clams. The Big Eye Tuna, which also has spicy shrimp over vegetable fried rice was incredible and cooked perfectly. No question I'll be back. Highly recommend.“

“Amazing food, and service. Chef Fortunato makes such amazing dishes I can’t even fathom how delicious those dishes were. Zuppa de Pesce was so delicious, chicken francese so good and the chicken practically melted in my mouth. Everything overall was cooked to perfection. Lastly Rigo was amazing in serving us and making sure we had the most best first experience possible. Will be coming here a lot more!!“

“This spot blew way past expectations. It has a retro style to it but the service and food are out of this world. Pizza was fresh and amazing. “I’m not from the area, but I was at a work function and they ordered from here. I just got the dumplings and I brought it home. My husband and I thought they were great. The next time I was in the area for work I got 2 combination dinners and dumplings and brought them homefor dinner. In OUR opinion..and we’re both 59 years old…this is probably the best Chinese food we’ve had. Highly recommend!“

“The best friend chicken and seekh kebabs, they're always happy to accommodate my request of dark meat. I think the price of what i frequently order is reasonable and large potion. Enjoyed the chicken biryani as well. Service is always friendly and there's quite a bit of wait when ordering the fried chicken. I normally call it in and pick it up after 30 minutes.“

“Made reservations for 7 people, we had 3 kids and 4 adults, we arrived 10 min late and they gave away all the group tables that seat 8 to groups of 4, even though they had pretty much all the booths open to seat 4. They wanted to sit us in 2 booths across from each other, which we declined so we had to leave and it was my 12 year olds birthday. They tried to blame us, but theres no excuse for them to seat 4 people at a table for 8 when you know you have 7 people coming in for a reservation. The restaurant had plenty of seating for the groups of 4 to sit at a booth.“
