“Amazing experience at this somewhat new restaurant in Southampon Village. Celebrity chef Rocco Dispirito did not disappoint! Restaurant atmosphere was beautiful and intimate, food was delicious, my steak cooked to perfection and wait staff was attentive. Cant wait to go back.”

This man and his business lifelong accomplice, Chef Pete are the customer based/retail version of why and how I got into food. Fred, Pete, Sous/Exec Jorge, Brandon, and yes... even Justin taught me the lines and roles of each station in a restaurant. Honey, I was green and sad and super motivated. These guys rode me like white on fkn rice. Due to that whoo-hah, I can carry my own brigade and make a killing in the raw arena. Fred was a master at his craft 60ish years ago and still is - encouraging line cooks to expound and expand 20+ years down the line. forever grateful.”

“went with 2 other people, and one of the burgers was undercooked (she asked for no pink and there was a lot of pink). the cheese part of the mac and cheese was pasty, like it was a bechamel sauce with extra flour on instead of a mornay sauce, aka they did the flour butter and milk but added no actual cheese to it. the fries were tasty and the burgers were well seasoned. i wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again.”

“Ate there with my entire family. Started with fresh avocado dip and chips, then had 6 dinners on the menu all different. Everyone DELICIOUS !!. Atmosphere was busy but not real noisy We could eat and chat without shouting. The wait staff was attentive but not hovering. They would look from a distance and see if we needed anything. A great taste I had the steak and it was fabulous. Easy to get to and we all had a great time !!”

“Good food, friendly spot, big fan. Been coming here for years. Here's my 1 suggestion: for the takeout ...why not offer online ordering? I have to call for take-out, which usually results in the line being busy (in the summer). If I can't get through I have to go elsewhere, which stinks because I live close by. Then, if I do get through, have to provide my credit card info, which is very 2006. Maybe ownership simply doesn't need the takeout biz and prefers it this way, and that's fine, but remains frustrating nonetheless. Just my .02 cents.”

“Stumbled by this bistro in Southampton and decided to go in for lunch. To our pleasant surprise we had a wonderful meal with excellent wine pairings suggested by our server, we loved our lunch so much we decided on having dinner at their NYC location the next evening, needless to say it was magnificent! “As a longtime resident of Southampton and, a frequent guest of the Red Bar, I was intrigued to see if Enchanté could pull it off… They did! From the energetic atmosphere, the moment you walk into the establishment and are warmly greeted by the superb hospitality of the general manager, Corrado, who will pour you a glass of champagne while he meticulously fillets a Dover sole, everything about this place is a winner!! If you are up for it, order the Soufflé for dessert (but make sure you pre order as it does take a while to prepare)...Make sure Corrado introduces you to his wonderful daughter who servers you with her brilliant smile...Can't wait for the fall when the town calms down and we can go and have a nice quiet meal off season...Add it to your lists of "musts".. “Nice local pub, low-key and casual. Not a very big food menu at all. But they do encourage you to bring in your own food if you like , there is a pizza parlor right next door. Nice that they have tables not just bar seats. You can play darts if you like.”

“Dopo has become our favorite restaurant in the Hamptons. Vlad, the host, welcomes us with warmth and recognition and does his best to seat us at a nice table. He makes everyone feel special. The wait staff is warm and makes sure to check in regularly but discreetly. The food is delicious. We love the bread, chopped salad, whole branzino, mac n cheese and much more. The fellow diners are often fun to chat with and watch as well. No matter how often we go, and sometimes it's weekly, our evenings at Dopo always feel special.”

“Tasty matcha latte, but I ordered hot and got an iced, and they didn't add a pump of peppermint like requested. Drank anyway, very yummy and not too sweet, just wish it had been what I'd ordered. Would definitely go again!”

With such a wide selection you will find many things you like and it's worth coming back to try them all. The staff really cares and the Owner sets that tone. Fantastic! “East End Clambake catered my daughter’s and my mother’s joint birthday party in my backyard in July. I cannot describe how amazing and wonderful they were every step of the way. We ended up renting chairs and tables as well as went with the The East End Lobster Bake package, with fried chicken (the only catered who offered this as an addition to lobster!) Patricia coordinated everything and really made it so very easy. I can’t remember the two women who came to the event along with the chef but they really out themselves, our 60 guests were truly delighted and the food was incredible. No one left hungry, that is for sure!!!! They really know how to run a smooth operation and all of the staff were so lovely to work with. They are absolutely the best!!!!”

“Shinnecock Lobster Factory makes amazing lobster rolls! I ordered a warm, buttery “whale” roll. You could have ordered a small “dolphin,” a medium “shark,” or a large “whale” and the whale roll has the most lobster meat. The whale roll is more expensive but I think it was worth it. I bought a raspberry iced tea for my drink. There is only outdoor seating, including a grass area you can bring dogs. You order at the window and bring the food to the tables with benches. There is no indoor seating. The restaurant is a quick 5-minute drive from downtown Southampton. I definitely recommend this restaurant and will be going back!”

“Working in the area for several days and found this little gem nearby. We liked it so much this became our lunch spot for the week.

The first day I was craving lentils and they had lentil soup available. I had that with a side of sausages. I also had the fried chicken and vegetables from the hot food bar and then the fried rice. I liked it all. Apparently their pizza is pretty good as well.”
