“Beautiful space and friendly staff. We were welcomed by very polite and courteous gentleman and even though we didn’t have a reservation (we didn’t know we needed one) they were able to accommodate us with no hesitation. Giovanni offered us nice drinks and tea along with a delicious shisha. She was very helpful when we had questions about flavors and was very attentive during the time we were there. Will definitely come back. Only thing to note is that if you enjoy a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere, try to go on the earlier part of the afternoon/night as it gets louder and feels more like a nightclub later in the evening.Vegetarian options: Dry nuts and French fries“

“Pastries by Anne is one of our favorite shops in the neighborhood. You can count on Anne to always greet you with a smile and to have unique and inventive flavors available. I’m a huge fan of both the Thai iced tea cake and the Triple C. She’s also made cakes for our celebrations, which our guests devoured. We are so lucky to live close to such an incredible pastry shop and Anne herself is the absolute best!“

“The staff was super friendly. Made the reservation on Mother’s Day with google assistant and they didn’t have it but cleaned off a table and sat me as if they had. Def recommend the mixed grill. A nice portion of everything and it was outstanding. Also the red sangria is out of this world. Can’t wait to go back. Thank you!“

“Parking: This Cafe is located in a residential area, so the parking is tough. There's only street parking available. This is more of a neighborhood place that people walk to, there's benches outside as well to sit and enjoy your purchases.“

“I’m not a coffee drinker. So I got an Ube Latte, made from purple yam. Tastes great. Felt very soothing to my soul. I love the teddy bear financier and the banana cake. Too bad they ran out of the donuts. Well, there’s always next time.“

“This is a cute dog cafe if you want to bring your dog and have some coffee. Two different entrances to buy coffee and to enter with your dog. People there seem friendly and they have paper towels and spray if your dog pees. However, the place is fairly small. I would say having about 10 small dogs would be enough for them to run around? I was there when 2 big poodles, 1 corgi, and 2 other small dogs and my cavapoo who is about 12lbs. I wish it was a bigger space for them to run around ?Nonetheless, it's a cute space for a quick stop to have your dog have some playtime.“

“Just went to Greek City Grille and ordered the chicken souvlaki platter with lemon potatoes. The chicken is perfectly seasoned and the lemon potatoes were absolutely amazing. The staff was extremely friendly and the place was so clean and decorated beautifully. Will definitely be coming back!“

“Quaint and cozy! I spent a solid two hours here reading and enjoying a Matcha Latte, which was great! The decor is beautiful with a rich purple and teal theme. There is a back garden room plus outdoor seating for nice days. I observed a lot of regulars come through even though there was ample indoor seating. I also appreciated the staff being attentive to vacant tables and wiping them down after patrons left. They have sandwiches and pastries and they also started serving alcohol with their later hours. This is a great quiet place to hang out if you need to get some work done free from distractions.“

“This coffee shop is a gem. It’s neat, modern, clean, and the atmosphere is super soothing. There are words of affirmation on their mugs, which was a nice surprise.I had a latte with oat milk and it was refreshing. Seems to be a good place to order some coffee, read a book or get some work done. I didn’t get to check if there was WiFi or not, but this is a place I’d be willing to use my hotspot for.The staff were very warm and welcoming — I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the neighborhood to try a pastry or two! Thank you.“

“I ordered delivery through Uber eats last night and I was definitely impressed with presentation of food.. chirashi was beautifully presented as you can see in the picture and fishes were very fresh.. they could provide bit more rice though.. this is the smallest rice I ever seen in chirashi. Also, I ordered spicy salmon maki but they sent regular salmon maki which wasn't a huge deal but still bit disappointed.“

“My husband picked up three sandwiches to go: we had the chicken cutlet, soft shell crab and beef sandwich. They were all so delicious. We also had the avocado matcha shake which was very tasty. Prices are incredible. It gets very busy, and it is worth the wait. ?“

“Location/Ambience: 5/5 Outside it may seem mushed between restaurants and other shops but inside does well to take advantage of the space and make it a modern bakery/cafe. There really isn't anything distinctive when identifying it. It just lets the quality of its treats, pastries, cakes, sweets do the talking. Food: 4/5: I had a sandwich + chocolate mousse cake. Sandwich was about average but chocolate mousse was excellent. It really speaks to focus of quality towards their niche and abundance of selection of sweets Staff: 5/5: They are all standing behind the cashier/glass so someone is gonna get your items easy. They are all nice. Not much interaction from them beyond the counter. Price: 4/5: Sweets cost money $$$. Spend at your leisure XD Accessibility/Layout 4/5: Parking is by a strip mall, and there is a good amount of seating but it can fill up pretty quick. Entrance is accompanied by seating of about 30 on the left and a column along the right side opposite from the cashier for an extra 10 people. Basically the classic Starbucks vibe area to lounge around if you live nearby, if not a quick drop by, buy and go.“

“The environment in this cafe was calm and relaxed. This is a great place for you to finish up any work you need and the type of music gives a nice cafe vibes. The food I order was good and I would definitely order again. The mayo spam kimbap was flavorful and I devoured that meal like in five minutes. I would totally recommend this cafe.“

“I ordered a chai latte on a Saturday at 12:30 PM. It was perfect flavor, sweetness and temperature. I got it with almond milk. I brought in a bagel from another place. However, I saw that they also sell bagels and I heard people ordering an egg sandwich as well as other items, I also noticed they have healthy shakes as well. Since I live nearby I got a punchcard and I hope to visit soon. I'm not 100% sure but I'm pretty positive that it's Latin owned possibly female owned as well. There's not too much seating, I believe there's three tables of two inside and two tables outside. Luckily, not too many people stay for long periods of time I was able to stay for two hours, talking to my friend with no problem.“

Bathroom is beautiful and clean. They have an outdoors section and its so peaceful! Definitely recommend the visit!A cute addition to Metropolitan Avenue’s district of eats.“

“The food was great. The tea was a bit sweet, but you can adjust the level if you ask. Some of the entrees do take longer to be served so if you want everything to come out at the same time, let the server know. It's a gorgeous space, only wish they took reservations“

“Everything is so fresh and homemade! The guac is a must-have. Each portion is made to order. They even put the pit in there to prove to you that each order has a full avocado in it that they just cut open! My family loves this place and we are regular visitors. One of our favorite local small businesses!“

“I had never had good donuts before. Yes, I've had regular donuts from coffee shops but not like this. This donut shop definitely sets a bar. Their donuts are made fresh and to your liking per order (so yes, there is a bit of a wait if they are busy) but its worth the wait.“

“Found this place when looking for a new cozy coffee spot. My boyfriend lives in Flushing so this was close enough for us to drive to, and the crepes looked so good. We came in on a cold snowy day, and immediately felt the warmth of fresh coffee and sweet fluffy crepes. We also got a croissant sandwich which was one of our favorite breakfast foods lately. The owner, George, was so friendly, and we spent a while just chatting to him about shared interests and family life.If you’re looking for a welcoming place to enjoy some great food, yummy coffee, and where you’re supporting a small business instead of a corporation, Maillard is for you. Worth the drive even from Long Island. We’ll be back soon!“

“This place was AMAZING! I absolutely recommend it to anyone. The inside is very small, but I noticed a lot of people get to go orders. The food was delicious. I wish I could have tried everything on the menu. The coffee was really good too. The green sauce they gave me was perfect. I literally can not explain how much I loved their "hash browns." I'd call them potatoes, but they are on the menu as hash browns. The parking wasn't that bad. We went here around 11, so the street parking wasn't too full. The service was very good and it didn't take long to get our food. The atmosphere was cozy and cute. It's totally worth trying this place, and if you live in the area, it will probably be your new favorite spot. YUMMMMMMY!Parking: Depends on what time you go if there will be parking or not. Also if you will have to pay or not. There is no parking lot ot street parking.“

“Although the drinks are expensive, they are delicious and each menu item is clearly made with great care. One thing I regret is that Chodang Corn Latte and Shine Musket Ade were on the menu, so I visited three times over two months, but they weren't there every time I visited. They said they would be airlifted from Korea and would arrive next week, so I went back and it was still Sol-A.It wasn't even the neighborhood, so I went there on purpose, but I was disappointed.“

“What a bright and open space to work in! Their brewed coffee is perfect — strong but not overwhelming or burnt. Also got their vanilla latte which was a perfect combination of milk for coffee. Their teriyaki chicken sandwich was yummy; it wasn’t too dry. Highly recommend!“

“Bring back the original yogurt with granola and berries please! The new container is smaller and has more plastic so it’s harder to mix everything. There’s also less fruit and the granola is different too! The lemon and peach infused choices don’t hold a candle to the original formula. Keep them for customers who like them AND bring back what was always selling out ?“

“I've been coming here for about eight months consistently, and there is a reason why - it is by far the best local coffee shop in the area! It's very spacious, the drinks are delicious, and the employees here are exceptionally cordial. The atmosphere changes depending on the time of day - it's usually relatively quiet earlier in the day, which makes it a great place to work or study. It picks up around 3 p.m., where you can find groups of friends hanging together or playing the board games Coffee Monster has available. The cafe is a clean environment (which includes its bathroom!), reliable WiFi, and plenty of outlets to charge your devices. I've got no critiques to give - if I could give Coffee Monsters six stars, I would!“

“Disappointed to find out on Easter Sunday they did not have cookies available when they opened at 9am, they weren’t available till 11am why is that? Instead they offered crookies, the latest trend cookie stuffed in a croissant. It was more croissant tasting than the cookie, taste was confusing, and I really wanted to taste more of the cookie than the buttery croissant. It’s not all that, I was underwhelmed. I had bought 4 to try since I made the trip, I was left with 2. I was so put off ( butter from the croissant was over powering) I threw them out. Odd hybrid. Just stick with your perfected creative cookie creations.“

“Quite possibly the tastiest McDonald’s I’ve had in years. And I still eat it. It was noticeably better. The fires the burger was seasoned my pie wasn’t burned it was cooked to perfection. The staff was all Haitian women. That quite definitely had something to do with it. Service wasn’t amazing. But nothing that made it bad just sub par. The lot can be a night mare. And kids are in abundance in there after 3 so you can’t dine until after 6pm“
