The owner had made some chicken soup which she made some for us to try after having our lunch. My partner was also feeling under the weather so she made him a hot lemon/ginger/honey tea on the house. “I went to the Crumbly Cafe & Bakery on Second Avenue this week for the first time. I ordered the feta and spinach bistro and it was one of the best baked goods I've had in a very long time. I was so impressed that I just placed an on-line order for 8 different items to try and can't wait to pick them up tomorrow. In addition, the wonderfully talented baker, Ms. Miriam and her lovely daughter, Mia, could not have been nicer and more welcoming. Nina, Julie, Paul, and staff have done an amazing job at cultivating a sense of community that I have not seen at any cafe before and it is a unique staple of forest hills, queens. And by community, somehow the customers the cafe attracts are all positive and super nice.
