“Parking: This Cafe is located in a residential area, so the parking is tough. There's only street parking available. This is more of a neighborhood place that people walk to, there's benches outside as well to sit and enjoy your purchases.“

“I’m not a coffee drinker. So I got an Ube Latte, made from purple yam. Tastes great. Felt very soothing to my soul. I love the teddy bear financier and the banana cake. Too bad they ran out of the donuts. Well, there’s always next time.“

“This is a cute dog cafe if you want to bring your dog and have some coffee. Two different entrances to buy coffee and to enter with your dog. People there seem friendly and they have paper towels and spray if your dog pees.However, the place is fairly small. I would say having about 10 small dogs would be enough for them to run around? I was there when 2 big poodles, 1 corgi, and 2 other small dogs and my cavapoo who is about 12lbs. I wish it was a bigger space for them to run around ?Nonetheless, it's a cute space for a quick stop to have your dog have some playtime.“

“I went over the weekend to this restaurant following my sister's suggestion. I want to said that she was 100% correct when she claimed that the chicken was the best she had ever had. After trying I can also attest to it, the chicken coupled with crisp veggies and flavorful rice was a good choice. We also tried the sangria and it was pretty good as well.I am planning to come back soon as there are other dishes that I would like to try.At last, the staff was super friendly and willing to please....Kudos to this new neighborhood restaurant!“

“Incredibly homey service and atmosphere!! Everything was delicious and very fresh. The dips and platters were absolutely unforgettable, vibrant flavors and amazing balance in taste — not a single complaint first time going! (those lemon potatoes are nothing less than mind blowing) Everything tasted completely authentic and don’t skip on the Greek hot coffee, made over sand and very rich tasting. The deserts also were an extremely satisfying end to a meal, being very rich and delectable. Service was wonderful, giving all customers a friendly and comforting welcome, making everything feel natural and inviting.“

“Compass Cafe is a light in the neighborhood, it is set apart. From the outside to the inside you can feel a difference. The workers are so nice and friendly. The options are limitless. They always have great new and fun ideas for every season! It’s fully missioned based…where else can you find that? Compass and Hope are my home!“

“This coffee shop is a gem. It’s neat, modern, clean, and the atmosphere is super soothing. There are words of affirmation on their mugs, which was a nice surprise.I had a latte with oat milk and it was refreshing. Seems to be a good place to order some coffee, read a book or get some work done. “I ordered delivery through Uber eats last night and I was definitely impressed with presentation of food.. chirashi was beautifully presented as you can see in the picture and fishes were very fresh.. they could provide bit more rice though.. this is the smallest rice I ever seen in chirashi. Also, I ordered spicy salmon maki but they sent regular salmon maki which wasn't a huge deal but still bit disappointed.“

“The environment in this cafe was calm and relaxed. This is a great place for you to finish up any work you need and the type of music gives a nice cafe vibes. Interior is beautiful, design language speaks for itself and the little things they’ve added that you can sort of use are fun.Treats and drinks are delicious. No complaints. “What a bright and open space to work in! Their brewed coffee is perfect — strong but not overwhelming or burnt. Also got their vanilla latte which was a perfect combination of milk for coffee. Their teriyaki chicken sandwich was yummy; it wasn’t too dry. Highly recommend!“

“I had never had good donuts before. Yes, I've had regular donuts from coffee shops but not like this. This donut shop definitely sets a bar. Their donuts are made fresh and to your liking per order (so yes, there is a bit of a wait if they are busy) but its worth the wait.“

“Although the drinks are expensive, they are delicious and each menu item is clearly made with great care.One thing I regret is that Chodang Corn Latte and Shine Musket Ade were on the menu, so I visited three times over two months, but they weren't there every time I visited. They said they would be airlifted from Korea and would arrive next week, so I went back and it was still Sol-A.It wasn't even the neighborhood, so I went there on purpose, but I was disappointed.“

“This place was AMAZING! I absolutely recommend it to anyone. The inside is very small, but I noticed a lot of people get to go orders. The food was delicious. I wish I could have tried everything on the menu. The coffee was really good too. The green sauce they gave me was perfect. I literally can not explain how much I loved their "hash browns." I'd call them potatoes, but they are on the menu as hash browns. The parking wasn't that bad. We went here around 11, so the street parking wasn't too full. The service was very good and it didn't take long to get our food. The atmosphere was cozy and cute. “I found Java Day Cafe while out in Queens this past Monday. I had a few hours to kill in between meetings and was looking for a cafe to WFH. At the owners recommendation, I ordered The Frenchie, as well as two hash browns (hey don't judge, I was starvin marvin!). The Frenchie consisted of 2 pieces of delicious cinnamon french toast with sausage, egg and cheese nestled inside. I washed it down with a delicious large coffee with almond milk. I chose a table by the window, which had 2 outlets below, so I was able plug away on my laptop and enjoy my food, with no low battery stress. I ended up having three coffees during my stint there and lucky for me, their bathroom was super spacious and clean... love that! All in all, happy to have stumbled upon this awesome Flushing/Auburndale gem!“

“The dessert here is yummy! The mochi taiyaki is a must get. So warm and chewy. The outside kinda reminds me of a croissant. The red bean filling was a surprise. We also got a match shaved ice. While it was shaved ice it was also very creamy when eaten. I would definitely come back for the mochi!“

Instead they offered crookies, the latest trend cookie stuffed in a croissant. It was more croissant tasting than the cookie, taste was confusing, and I really wanted to taste more of the cookie than the buttery croissant. It’s not all that, I was underwhelmed. I had bought 4 to try since I made the trip, I was left with 2. I was so put off ( butter from the croissant was over powering) I threw them out. Odd hybrid. It's less sweet than other cafes which I like.The mango bingsoo is real shaved ice, super soft, with mango syrup, sweet fresh mango, and ice cream on top. It's enough for two people. 8/10. Eat it in the cafe, don't do delivery.The matcha injeolmi cream latte is coffee with matcha flavor and some soy bean flavor. It is creamy, nutty, with hints of green tea flavor. 8/10. It will last until the next day in the fridge.There is a lot of seating in this place and there is an extra outdoor area at the back.“

What's not to love? It was a generous portion. Plenty of chicken and amazing sauce on the side and FRESH french fries. Service was more than attentive. The waitress was lovely and when I looked up for a moment just to take in the beautiful space, a male server stepped over to see if I needed anything. Asked me if I needed lemon or honey with the tea-- that impressed me. Usually you have to ask for everything. We were told it would take about 40 minutes to get our drinks, so we left to visit a nearby claw machine shop. When we returned, we had to remind them of our orders and they made them soon after.I got the jasmine green milk tea with boba. The milk tea was good, but the boba was not that fresh and was lacking in flavor.Overall, based on my experience, it wasn't worth the wait.“
