“This is a well known restaurant in the area. They are known for their prime rib. They have other cuts and food as well but if you come here for the first time order the prime rib. The Caeser salad made fresh in front of you is also a nice touch.”

“Working out of the area temporarily, I asked a lady at the hotel for any recommendations for food in the area. Without hesitation she said Sportos (one of their apparent nicknames). She went on to say that she has been coming here since basically she was born. Thats a strong pedigreeI can now confirm, this place is amazing! Great people, great food. “Wanted to try something different last week and found ourselves in Batavia. Center St has kind of gone downhill with smaller and smaller portions every time I go.Wandered in, quickly sat, host was awesome even when I pressed him for help in choosing between two dishes. I got the ribs, wife got brisket. Wife loved hers, ribs were good too but the sides were out of this world. Not a potato guy but the cheesy potatoes were great. Mac & Cheese also highly recommended!With the lowered expectations from the decline of competitor this was better than expected. Great service, good food, staff was amazing. If you want BBQ and are in Batavia come here.”

“We stopped at Cinquino's on our way through Batavia tonight and had an excellent dinner experience.They have a large corner table that fit our party of 11 plus a baby with room to spare.We ordered the full sheet pizza with mushroom. It was nice and thick, and very tasty. All 11 of us barely finished the 32 slices.We left a good tip and the total (with tip) was just over $40. Service was quick and helpful, good atmosphere, and the food was excellent. This made a phenomenal option for eating out with a larger group.”

“Wow. Obviously popular family restaurant in Batavia that does a fantastic job handling a big crowd. A very friendly, efficient staff keeps things moving along smoothly. Great variety of breakfast, lunch, and dinner items and plenty of desserts, too. Service was quick, food delicious, attentive waitress, even though the place was hopping! Home fries are different from any other place, filled with spices. Sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on an English muffin was awesome.”

“My husband had been here years ago and remembered it being really good, so we went there tonight for a fish fry. Boy, was it good!! So many different kinds of fish fries to choose from- as well as sides. The Cole slaw was made with pineapple, like my mom used to make it, and was so yummy! Everything was great- from the meal and brewed, not instant, iced tea; to the homemade caramel apple pie. We ended up bringing our dessert and half of my meal home with us- there was so much food! Prices were fair. Even the price of the pie, which at first shocked me @$5/ slice, wasn't bad after all as it was a HUGE slice of delicious, homemade caramel apple pie ever! Service was great, servers friendly and knowledgeable and the owner came out to check on us more than once!! We tend to like diners vs chain restaurants and I'm sure glad I asked about going to Chaps this time!”

“My kids and I ride our bikes through the cemetery often, and this coffee shop is a perfect stop for us. However, I recently bought a new bike and wish the Pub Coffee Hub had a convenient place to lock my bike as I'm not comfortable leaving my new bike unattended outside.”

“Sashimi entree was no where near as good as normal. Looks and taste. Soft shell crab appetizer was flavorless cold and came with no dipping sauce. Waitress said no dipping sauce. Never heard of such things.”

“Service and server were a complete five stars. Food was great. Ambiance was welcoming. Sadly, when it came time to pay, my grandmother wanted to leave a cash tip and was adamant on giving it to your sever by hand. I asked the hostess for our servers name so we could give her the tip. The hostess in a black and white polka dot shirt told us our server had left. Which was in fact a lie. Our server was still in the building bussing tables and working on orders in the kitchen. This is a sketchy experience on the hostesses part. Please be careful.”

“Our waitress was phenomenal. Came in with a friend I hadn’t seen in 2 years to catch up. Even after we paid our bill and accidentally sat another hour our waitress came by to still ask if we needed anything. The food was also fantastic! So delicious! Overall, really enjoyed this place. Went for an early lunch and would definitely go back.”

“Absolute hidden gem. Already planning our next visit. First impressions last, and the first thing I noticed was the cleanliness. Service was excellent. I ordered the chile relleno poblano with chicken and it was beyond words. One of the best things I've eaten in a long time, truly reminiscent of my father's cooking. “Everything this bakery makes is incredible. The mountain bread is so soft and yummy, it’s so good with butter. I like it toasted but not even necessary. They have such a variety here and the selection changes often. My favorites are the apple fritters, fluffy sugar cookies and pies, but they have so much more. Lunch and soup too! The best part is that I can bring my kiddos and am always greater with smiles. Plus they have on several occasions filled last minute special orders for me. Really can’t say enough good things. “This unassuming deli is making some delicious subs! We were looking for a solid lunch to eat during the eclipse viewing, so we picked up an Italian sub. The bread was so fresh and all of the ingredients were high quality. The staff went out of their way to point out their list of signature subs to us and made the sandwich quickly. I was eyeing the desserts they had in the case - next time I’m up here I’ll definitely have to grab a brownie!”

“Windy brew blew me in with its quaint charm and big personality. Upon arrival I noticed right away that it was brighter and cleaner than a sterilized surgical unit! Saturday night wasnt to busy with a few tables laughing and joking like they were having best carnival ride ever. We cozied up to the bar where the bartenders smile drew us in like a sunset at the beach. The menu was not overwhelming and we were able to sample all the delectable liquid before we decided on which glass of paradise we would imbide! Our mouths were filled with ecstasy from every luxurious sip. The hazy IPA left me foggy and fun! The Wind power sour was a turbine of puckering joy for your taste buds..Had a quick bite with the pretzles and dill dip that felt like eating a crunchy dill pickle without the mess! The bartenders banter was welcoming and informataive. It was like talking to your best friend who had the knowledge of the Brewmasrer himself! Let the wind blow you to Batavia past the wannabe breweries right to the front door of Windy brew. You wont be dissapointed!”

I didn't know my smoothie had added sugar in it and he let me know I could order any smoothie without sugar, and politely offered to give me a new one for free, even though I offered to pay for it!The smoothie was great, the store was clean, and the atmosphere was modernNot overly expensive either, and they were very polite.
