We give it. A Worldwide Thousand Stars. But always remember. That everybody has different taste buds. We were born in Brooklyn New York. We know what's good. ?????????????????????????????“

“It was my first time at a tapas bar and it couldn’t have been better. The upstairs dining room was really comfortable and felt homelike. Service was friendly and attention to detail was definitely practiced. The food was great. The best calamari I’ve experienced it wasn’t rubber like by any means. The lamb chops were very juicy and had a great sauce on them. Additionally the sangria was good. A pitcher goes a long way for two people. We would both strongly encourage visiting Beso.“

The food they served us wasn't bad at all. I haven't been to the restaurant side of it yet, but it seemed full for a Tuesday night for dinner.“

“So this was a take out order, and we were looking for Comfort Food. We found just that in an order of plain chicken wings and an order of macaroni and cheese. The wings were large, super crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, nicely seasoned. The al dente spiral macaroni held onto the generous amount of creamy and yummy cheese sauce. We’ll be ordering it again!“

“We went for my birthday and what a gift it was. The service by Lea was amazing, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The owner kept checking on us to see if we needed anything. And the food, oh the food was outstanding. Their strip steak was absolutely delicious melted in your mouth perfectly cooked and prepared. If you haven’t tried it there yet I absolutely recommend you do.Parking: I found a spot right outside and so did the other 2 cars that came with us. I went on a Wednesday night don’t know if that matters, there’s still plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: They were so patient and kind with my 3 grandchildren.“

“Fun spot for live music on Wednesday and Saturday nights. Lots of locals, long time clientele in a setting from the turn of the 20th century. It's been an iconic Staten Island "dive bar" for generations. Don't expect much for food options, or fancy cocktails, it's not that kind of bar.“

“The place was packed. That was a great sign! Both waitresses were super busy but the young lady Viviana who was our waitress was really hustling. Always had a smile on her face as well!Food was excellent without breaking the bank. The onion mushroom pita appetizer was delish! Try it!Everything was great including the band but the music was definitely too loud. I’ve been to many establishments with bands but this was the first time our ears hurt and we couldn’t hear each other.Otherwise. Try this place. You won’t be disappointed !“

“Was visiting family I decided to stop in my old neighborhood and from a previous stop last year, I know that this place is a solid choice for both food and drink. Sitting at the bar I had a Guinness or two and decided to order pork chops based on the suggestion of the regulars sitting on either side of me. It was a solid recommendation because not only was it much tastier than anything that the chain restaurants offer, but even being very hungry I could barely finish it (the portions are big, they don't skimp). Even though the lady bartender is attentive enough to anticipate when you need a refill and the regulars are friendly, I am still somewhat hesitant to say much more and draw attention to what appears to be a hidden gem.“

“Maizal continues to be a favorite place of mine for Mexican food and drinks. The atmosphere is always comforting and homey complete with art decorating the walls, plants in the window, and little vases on the tables. They have gluten free and vegan dishes as well as vegetarian dishes that can be made vegan if ordered without the cheese and sour cream. I had their spinach and mushroom burrito bowl and it was delicious. The vegan enchiladas verde are another go-to choice that I have gotten many times. They also have great flavored margaritas. The hibiscus is my fav. And their homemade guacamole is a must-have to start off your meal. The staff is also always super nice and the bathrooms are clean which we love to see. They recently added some new menu items so I included some screenshots of the menu from their website since I forgot to take a picture in person.“
