You can't go wrong. The cheese danishes are great and the pain au chocolat was incredible. We also got the olive polenta bread this time around; it didn't last past dinner and there was only two of us.
Our family stopped here for the first time this morning, after seeing a news article about it. We choose to eat a healthier lifestyle, and the way The Scratch Bakehouse makes it's products suits our needs. The owner greeted us and was very helpful and informative about the goods. We purchased several pastries to try, and a loaf of bread. Everything was absolutely fantastic, and exceeded our expectations (the spanakopita is to die for). I found Scratch Bakehouse through Syracuse Vegans on Facebook. I was so pleased with the freshness and tasty chickpea sandwich also the delicious vegan cookies. This will definitely be a regular place for my lunches. Excellent customer service. Theirs also an outside area to eat.
