“My husband and I went here on Saturday night, and loved it! There was not one negative thing about our experience, from calling to make a reservation and speaking with a personable, friendly staff member, to when we left feeling like regulars. The bartenders/servers were great; they were knowledgeable and made recommendations on both wine and beer we really loved and the portions were generous. “The ambiance of Raconteur was just perfect. For that brief 1.5hr dinner, I was transported to a cozy, warm and inviting place. The service was excellent (I even shared our server that her aura was glowing). Since we were doing vegetarian that night, we had the spicy shrooms (flavorful, but a little too chewy for me). Then we tried 2 other entrees that I cant remember the names but the taste was unforgettable, one had had honey on it and the other arugula- the bread, folks will make you rethink Keto- reminds me of home made bread. Hastings is a 15 minute drive from the city but makes you feel like you're a whole world away. Boro6 is within walking distance of several unique small businesses including a vinyl shop and boutiques. Everything is centrally located on Warburton ave or on Main Street where you can find plentiful parking. The area is a hidden gem and makes you feel like you're actually in a small town as opposed to minutes from NYC. It's perfect for scenic views of the Hudson, an afternoon stroll, then dinner and a glass of wine at Boro6.Now more about the wine bar... it is so nice to see the attention to detail and how much they genuinely care about the dining experience. Everything is hand crafted. The menu has so many options and they add new items often with well thought out pairings making each visit unique. The food is always delicious.THE WINE! In the last year or so they have released their own house blend which we were very excited to try. Needless to say it did not disappoint. The restaurant is spacious yet still gives the cozy vibes you desire from a wine bar. The staff is so nice, its evident that the owner really cares as you can tell a lot by the way the staff interacts not just with clients but with each other. When I come back I promise to add pictures to my review but after having yet another wonderful experience here I just needed to take a moment out and give them the kudos they deserve. The Owner Carlos called to discuss his availabilities and mention that Tentempie Madrid is a traditional tapas with only small plates, NO MAIN COURSE and house wines and beer... Loved the call, perfect table for two at 7:30!My boyfriend and I were greeted by the Owners wife, and seated right away... She was just as lovely! What a great duo!! My boyfriend & I could be wrong BUT they seemed to be the only two running the magic over there... And they do it very very well!!!!! What a treat we were in for!!!FOOD: 5 STARS! We started off with drinks, we were unsure of which wine or beer to go with and Carlos's wife had no problems letting us taste them so we enjoyed what we ordered... LOVED THAT!!! There were so many choices... After we made our decision we put ourselves in the mindset to sit back relax & not RUSH.... Seems like (well i'll speak for myself as an American) we RUSH through everything... For food we did order the paella (made to order and takes about 55 minutes) again NO RUSHING, enjoy your wine, tapas in between, & your company.... “Ended up here for dinner because my daughter really wanted ramen. We had the Kara-age chicken (my choice) and edamame (her choice) to start with, both were decent. We both tried a different ramen, I had a spicy one from the specials menu which I enjoyed, it was really good. They have a kids menu with affordable choices but of course my kid didn’t want anything from there and she only ate half her ramen and didn’t care for the pork belly or really most of the toppings. We finished off our meal with the mango pudding which I thought was amazing. I thought it was definitely kid friendly, lots of families with kids dining the day I went. Service was ok, a bit on the slower side but I guess they were a bit busy. Overall I thought it was pretty pricey and not 100% worth it which means next time I would look for a different ramen spot in the area to explore.“
“The food was absolutely incredible here. When we got there, there was almost no one in the dining room. While we were waiting for our food, the entire restaurant filled up with kids and their parents celebrating some kind of sports thing. It became incredibly loud and chaotic. Despite this, the lasagna was one of the best dishes I've ever had. It had short rib and prosciutto in it, and it was worth sitting through all of the noise.“

“The tapas were very good. My favorite was the fried artichokes. A MUST HAVE dish for any occasion. We sat at the bar and had great service. Only complaint was that you never know who you end up sitting next to. Sometimes you're lucky and sometimes you're not. Can't avoid loud people.“
