“Amazing product and amazing customer service. I'm hooked on this kombucha! I actually ordered their tinctures and our order contained only one vial instead of the two I paid for. An employee actually drove to my house and delivered the missing bottle! He also added a few bottles for us to try! We love their blends, we buy them at the Honest weight coop every week. Happy to support such a good, local company.“
“I've already had an eventful week. So tonight I'm taking it easy. After some reflection I settled on Rare Form Brewing Company, for my Friday evening nightcap. Chris, my brewer, recommended the Double Moxie when I asked for the boldest hop, and while I'm no stranger to hyperbole, I got the feeling that we both know that Double Moxie is no hyperbolic hyperbole. It's 8% perfection! The rich honey citrus flavor, completely coats my tongue and leaves me with a decidedly sweet aftertaste, which surprisingly, I love. The difference is that I feel like Chris and I are cohorts... There's no hiding behind tolerance-ambiguity at Rare Form. The intention is clear: Drink 'mo craft beer then stumble into an Uber immediately after your last pint. #EXCEPTIONAL“
“The 518 has always been our go to spot when in dwntwn Troy! However, this time around they are incorporating different events. They hosted a Latin night ???? with Dominican ?? food from Pataconia on Saturday and it was such a great hit. The vibes and decor are chill, beer options are always delicious along with their cocktail menu, and the artwork submissions from local artists are captivating. Follow their FB page for updated event info. I sure will ?“
“Great place for a date with the hubby, but plenty of families there too (Friday night at dinner hour). Burgers were delicious, beer was great, service was quick and friendly.Parking: There's a lot nearby that was free to park. Not sure if it's free during the day or if you need a permit.“
“An awesome brewery with great food, known nationally for their IPA's. All their food is made in house. There is tons of seating but don't let that fool you, they do fill up quick. They have beer types for everyone to include dark, sour, light, IPA, cider and usually host guest taps. The food menu is pretty extensive and also have something for everyone. Parking usually is pretty easy and the customer service is top notch. Highly recommend this as a must stop destination in Albany, NY!!!“
“Went here prior to a concert at Cohoes Music Hall. Service was A+. I ordered a small pizza and it knocked my socks off. One of the best pizzas I've had in a long time! Beer was great too. Best part is never having to "look" or "waive down" your server...they were beyond attentive. Even on a weekend night. Great local biz“
“Okay, listen up – Warbler Brewery. Imagine this: you’ve had one of those days that just drains the life out of you, and all you crave is a good chill spot with even better beer. It’s not just a brewery; it’s my little urban escape, a place where the beer flows as freely as the conversations.Walking into Warbler feels like coming home – It’s got this welcoming warmth that wraps around you, making it the perfect backdrop whether you’re looking to unwind solo with a beer in hand or catch up with your friends over a couple of rounds. Now, let me rave about the beers because, oh boy, they’re something else. Warbler has this knack for hitting you with the familiar favorites while still surprising you with something new every time you visit. Their seasonal brews? Absolute must-tries. It’s like they bottled up the essence of each season, giving you new reasons to celebrate no matter the weather. And the people there – they’re the heart and soul of the place. You know how some spots have staff who just go through the motions? Not here. The Warbler crew genuinely wants to know what you think, recommend you something based on what you like, and maybe even share a story or two about the brews. It’s that personal touch that makes each visit special. But what really seals the deal for me is how Warbler stands by its values. They’re all about giving back to the community and keeping things green and sustainable. Knowing that my love for beer is also helping out in some small way makes each sip feel that much better.Every time I walk out of Warbler Brewery, I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Whether it’s for their live music nights, a new seasonal brew, or just a quiet evening to savor a pint, it never disappoints. So, if you haven’t been, trust me, you’re missing out. Warbler isn’t just a brewery; it’s a vibe, a community, and my favorite little corner of the city.“
“The Other One Brewery is a standout for craft beer lovers, particularly for their New England IPAs.The taproom has a friendly vibe that makes you feel welcome. The staff is happy to guide you through their diverse beer selection.Whether you love hoppy beers or just appreciate well-crafted brews, The Other One Brewery is worth a visit. Grab a seat, chat with locals, and enjoy the craftsmanship in each pint. This brewery has become a beloved spot in the community for its excellent beers and inviting atmosphere.“
“This place is great. Excellent food and great service. Not over priced but not cheap. They really did a great job with eat in the street. Too bad Cohoes limited that so much because it was a great thing for Cohoes restaurants. Definitely my go to on Remsen St.“
“If nothing else, go for the interaction with Gabriel the bartender. The drinks and food were amazing, but he set the experience apart! Knowledgeable and just one of those people who makes you want to make this your new drinks spot! Huge plus, my husband has celiac and was completely safe eating here which is a rare occurrence around here! 100% will be coming back.Dietary restrictions: Celiac safe kitchen with dedicated equipment and counter spaces“
“Support local! The staff at Homebrew Emporium is kind, patient, and very knowledgeable. The store is well stocked with just about everything you need for brewing (and if it's not in stock it can be ordered). Fair prices and good quality merchandise. There's a wide variety of bottling materials to choose from, both glass and plastic. If you don't see it, ask for it!My favorite place to shop for homebrew supplies!“
“Anthony Bourdain said to have a beer in an empty pub, and that's what I did here.Doubles as a homebrew store. What I loved about this place is that the styles are either old school - think English IPA or oatmeal stout - or straight up historical. Definitely a change of pace. I enjoyed all the beers I tried.Owner was super knowledgeable and friendly.Prices were good, and I'm glad they were open on a Monday, which isn't the case for even the bigger brewpubs in town.Old school, DIY place that I'm glad to have visited.“
“This place was very quiet when we were there (Sunday) which was disappointing compared to what we expected from the pics online. The 2 beers we tried we really only ok... bland we felt (but admittedly we drink largely strong NEIPA). Interesting artwork for sale... Brewer was cheerful. Small tables inside, picnic tables outside.“
“What a great place in the Capitol District for craft beer and nice people! The IPA's are outstanding and the speciality beers like Peanut Butter Stout are also a favorite. Hats off to our server running the the bar, TV and all us crazy customers.“
“Gabby and Dez were amazing on bar- super attentive and the BEST cocktails! The wings are crispy and juicy…cooked to perfection with tasty sauces! The gobbler was awesome but way too big- sourdough slices would have been perfect. My husband enjoyed the burger.“
“I've been coming to Mean Max since the Marie days. When they said they were opening a second location in Troy I was skeptical that they would be able to replicate the special place that is Mean Max. But they managed to out do themselves - starting with a proper, larger, sign. Next they placed this tap room right on Monument Square so there are great restaurants around. The tap room is brighter than Glens Falls on account of windows front and back and has its own vibe...but the beer and great customer service is the same. Well...for the most part. They do have a special lager exclusive to this location (quick tip - look up their Glens Falls venue to see the menu at either location). Staff is always friendly and the beer has great variety - of which they all do well. Definitely a place to stop and visit.“
