“Tried this Mediterranean restaurant and we just loved the place. Chicken was really fresh and tender, perfect taste as expected. Finally we ended with the dessert which everyone likes “Baklava”. Definitely a worth visiting food chain with friendly staff and service, chilling atmosphere.“
“Some of the best chicken I've ever had. The prices are really great for the portion sizes and the quality. I can't help but keep coming back because I love it so much! My only issue has been with staff. Very often, if not every time, I have to wait for quite a while to ask for something because there's nobody at the front. The most recent time I went (2/20/24) also was incredibly unpleasant for me in terms of service. Not only did it take forever to ask for utensils because nobody was there, but the worker that did come out (I believe it was the worker as there was nobody else in the building at that moment) smelled very heavily of marijuana to the point of causing my asthma to act up and make me cough.“
“Get the Kibbeh. I tried it for the first time here and I almost cried because it was so good, not lying, I am actually legitimately sad that I hadn't come here sooner. Not only is the food excellent but the staff is very kind and understanding when it comes to the dietary needs of their guests. I needed to know if there was onions in something (I have an allergy) and they went all the way up the chain to ask on my behalf in order to ensure my safety, it was very sweet and as an added bonus I was able to eat the amazing food, which I'll talk about now!My friend had the chicken kofta rice plate but I had a lamb and beef kofta naan wrap, kibbeh and a tea. The naan was soft and fresh, kept its strength and held what was an incredibly juicy filling very effectively. Since I cannot digest vegetables, I only had meat in my wrap and so the flavor of the meat becomes very important; Zaitoon Kitchen has FANTASTIC lamb & beef kofta. Absolutely out of this world amazing. Juicy, tender, flavorful with all the right kinds of spices you would expect in Mediterranean kofta but different (pleasantly so) from other places I've had kofta at. I'm not sure if it's how they grill it or if it's something they do in prep but I really enjoyed the depth of flavor in this meat. The spices layer throughout it so the bites in the middle of the wrap are consistent but still just as exciting as the first biteーI was sad when it was finished and were I a weaker person I'd have ordered another. For dessert I tried a chocolate baklava, something I have never had before and was very happy to have tried. The Shuabi with Cream was also an incredible new treat that I have no regrets about. There was more I wanted to try but I ran out of room in my stomachーnot cash though, the prices here are great for the area! This place rocks and I will be back! Thank you for a great meal and another positive experience trying new food from cultures outside of my own (˶' ᵕ ' )Dietary restrictions: Onion allergy, no vegetables“
“The rice plate is amazing! The felafel is some of the best I’ve ever had, really tender, moist but not dense, perfectly seasoned. Same for the chicken: tender, moist, & sensationally seasoned. Everything on the plate is sensational, and works together beautifully. I can’t get over how delicious this is. I grew up eating middle eastern food, have been to many upscale middle eastern restaurants and family kitchens, and this meal blew me away.“
“Me and my boyfriend found this place over the summer and have been frequents of circle pizza ever since. The food prices are very fair and all the food is amazing every time. The staff is supper friendly and we never have an issue with the order. We have 4 kids and this place is very afordable. Our fave dish from them is the chicken over rice it’s always so fresh and so delicious. Today my son got an Oreo pie piece and that also was amazing. You can’t go wrong here. Between the food the prices and the staff it really is top notch.“
“Alibaba is a gem hidden in the rocks. I can't express in words how delectable the butter chicken pizza is! The taste and texture just explode in your mouth leaving you both satisfied and yearning for more. I highly recommend their pizza!“
“I enjoyed eating at this restaurant. The food was good. The chicken over rice was delicious and scrumptious to eat. The mango lassi was well made puree and the Roghni Naan was crispy, tasty and delicious. The host and cooks are hospitable and very attentive!“
“The Cook And the Counter Guy was very nice and the service was excellent And the food was amazing I bought the chicken wings and Fries everything was perfect and I will be going there from now on the food was made fresh it wasn’t sitting under a heating lamp like other places’ Great place to eat ??“
“Food was really good and surprised me. But I just can't stand places that don't cook their falafel on the grill mashed because it ends up dry and not as flavorful. They were very generous with the sauces. Also got my order right and I'm super picky.“
“Inconspicuous and casual; don't let the simplicity of this place fool you. Their food rocks.Quality ingredients and food, reasonable prices, and friendly staff. Stop by for a quick meal, and you won't be disappointed. Ralo's a good guy.“
“I am an Indian-American, born and raised and am honestly pretty harsh when it comes to Indian food. This place not only met expectations, it exceeded them and then some. Please get the Apollo chicken. It is so authentic and just honestly really well done. Everything, even the chicken Rogan Josh was incredibly flavorful. I will be coming back here many more times. Additionally, our waiter was one of the nicest people I have had the honor of meeting in the Albany area“
“Went to Afghan Kabab for takeout lunch. Walk in, the restaurant is on the left in the plaza. I ordered the Chicken Kebab and a Snapple drink. Came to $14. You get a mini salad with the dish which is nice. The dish itself was really great. The chicken was very flavorful had a nice spice to it but not overpowering. The green sauce is amazing. Dunking the chicken in it made it so much better. The Pita bread was ok nothing special same as the salad. The rice was also nothing special, cooked well. But the chicken with the sauce, awesome. Highly recommend getting food here.“
“Hey! You guys are the best. Every week i order the FAMILY PLATTER from this place that’s so good and lamb chops are juicy. I hope you guys have the best lamb chops and kebabs in town. Thank you guys for the fresh and yummy food. ❤️❤️❤️“
“First and foremost this is in a college campus dining hall. I didn't know that when I found this on Google maps so that was a bit awkward. The food is good. The naan and hummus are pretty mid but the meat was tender and the sauces were very good. Price isn't bad either.Parking: $5 to park on campus at the visitor lot“
“Fantastic service! Chef was very nice and helpful, Food was amazing! All fresh ingredients , Chicken over rice was delicious. Love the seasoning in the chicken:) No photo for food this time, when I realized I didn’t take photo of food the food was already 2/3 gone. That much delicious;) I’ll definitely visit here again:) Thank you!“
“Authentically Indian except for the prices, but hey, they gotta pay the rent. Went in and asked for a dish that wasn’t on the menu (Dal Makhani) but which I’ve enjoyed in Bangladesh. I was very impressed that they not only knew what I was after, but agreed to fix it for me. This place is clean, welcoming, tasty and authentic midasian comfort food.“
“Best place to go for delicious late night food! Always can count on Elhariri for a lamb over rice if gyro. Food is definitely calorific, but the food is so filling and much needed after a long night of studying. You can call in advance if you're wanting to pick up (pay when you arrive). Food is ready very quickly ~10min. I had told my friends of this supermarket (food is made inside), and they all love it.“
“Im addicted to the chicken over rice in this place, also they have amazing lamb over rice and shawarma! Their rice is sooo goood, also the white sauce! I always get extra white sauce over my rice! The salad which comes with the rice is always very fresh. They also have whole chicken which they roast for which you have to call them an hour ahead and let them know! The price is very reasonable, definitely a must try if u haven’t already(:“
“I can't forget that Peshewari Naan and Bombay Aloo. Two awesome items with perfect balance of spice. They asked us the spice level we would prefer. This is something indian restaurants usually do not ask. Loved that part. Two other items were onion naan (was good) but the Mughlai chicken, something was off about it. It could be the balance of sweet or the salt was not right. I felt like I am eating a thik gravy. I believe the tea was over brewed and to balance it more milk was poured in. That's just an opinion as I know taste of tea is very subjective. Besides all of this the portion of one order was good for two. I think they are underrated by themselves. I would recommend them to change the whole seating arrangement. Also, update your restaurant name to Ahmed Restaurant. It was hard to find it.Spend $36 for two. (1. Mughlai Chicken came with choice of rice/Naan, Aloo Naan came with Rice/Naan)“
“My first time trying Yemeni Food as a Pakistani and I really enjoyed their food. The food taste amazing, the service was great as well. This isn’t a place I’ll bring my family to dine in, the customers are just crazy looking. I did take out and the portions became small. While Dine in the has big portions, take out does not.Definitely would come here for food again, the food tasted amazing.“
“Delicious: ) ordered a pineapple smoothie that tasted so refreshing & at peak ripeness. Happy sipping this while I chatted with owner and my chicken kebab was prepared. Kind man with a lovely attitude on life. Salad veggies were crisp & fresh. Cilantro vinaigrette is fantastic. Aromatic green w a serious kick! My lips were on ? & i loved it. Chkn was seasoned nicely . very tender & juicy. (Halal meat just tastes better)over a generous pile of rice. Enough for lunch tastes even better day after. Had to try the homemade melt in your mouth baklava. Wow. I'm happy & I can't wait to go back for more: )Vegetarian options: Falafel is always yummyParking: Tucked in a "strip mall" of sorts on Wolf rd. Found parking easily on a StPatrick's day busy Sunday afternoon“
“Food was really good and surprised me. But I just can't stand places that don't cook their falafel on the grill mashed because it ends up dry and not as flavorful. They were very generous with the sauces. Also got my order right and I'm super picky.“
“It’s all about that fried chicken! Fried, hot, zinger, whatever your jam. Also, really exceptional Indian fare. The vegetable samosa was authentically great. The lamb over rice plate equally superb. *keep an eye on your surroundings, use caution in area.“
“Absolutely delicious. Specially if you're Bangladeshi, this restaurant will HIT THE SPOT. OK it's not 100% Bangladeshi but this is as close as you'll get in Upstate NY. I got the mutton biryani and kala bhuna and although it can't match the stuff you get in Bangladesh this is definitely a worthy effort. Great chef THANK YOU!! Can't wait to try the rest of the food!!Other than the restaurant/menu items, it is an awesome grocery store as well, great selection of variety of rice (especially if you're looking for chinigura, kalijeera, basmati, mohonbhog, kataribhog etc. rice) and spices.“
“Amazing local treasure with fantastic food and friendly staff. The kofte is delicious with a delicate flavors and humble spices; easily a favorite. The Turkish kebab has just the right amount of heat while still being full of flavor. If you're new to this type of food, start with the shawarma and explore from thereーI promise you will not be disappointed. Everything I have eaten here has been freshly made, perfectly cooked and full of that unique flavor you only find in authentic Turkish food.As a side note; I have severe dietary restrictions and the staff has always been super understanding, making my order exactly as I need it every time without fail. I'm thankful for such a place in my community where I can practice speaking and experience a bit of the culture through their excellent food and service. I promise I'll get better at Turkish, but since I only get to speak it here you must stay open forever. ?Dietary restrictions: Can't eat vegetables“
