“Went to OBSH in Bay terrace shopping center last night. It was crowded so we were worried it would take a long time. We were pleasantly surprised at how amazing and quick the service was. Our waiter, Noah, was great! He got us everything we needed and quickly. There was an issue with my son’s food. They corrected the original dish and by accident, made another. They let us keep the second for free. I definitely recommend the food, service and atmosphere.“

“Had the dry aged strip steak. Cooked perfectly(although med rare might be slightly more well cooked than most like). Food arrived quickly. The garlic butter on top of the steak made an incredible welcome difference. Excellent flavor, great seasonings, and a great mouth feel in terms of tenderness. The only place in Yankee Stadium where I did not feel ripped off. A decent beer is over 20 bucks and this was $57. Don't sleep on this spot.“
“This is the place! Early in covid they were the first ones to reopen and bring the neighborhood back, creating outdoor seating long before anybody put up those structures. Now they bring in polished and accomplished musicians who play wonderful classic blues and rock and roll. The staff couldn't be nicer, the vibe is wonderful, and the food is great; chef clearly goes out of his way to find good stuff to make the shepherd's pie and everything else. “I would of gave this place a 5 star but the manager was horrible basically kicked me and my family out the restaurant because they had another party coming in he was rude. I didn't know they had a 1 1/2 hr seating rule after that you have to wrap it up and leave. The restaurant is small but beautiful I booked a party for 10 to celebrate my son's 24th birthday. The food was amazing and our server was great sorry I forgot his name but he was really nice and kept saying his manager is going to come and hurry you up and he kept apologizing and didn't want to be rude. The amount of money that was spent which was $800 I feel the manager could of been a bit more respectful with his approach. I will not go back only because of the seating policy.“
“I just love this place :) we come every few months because it’s close to home and they’re open later. The staff are trained very well. We are always so happy with the service. Food is always so yummy my favorites are the lamb chops, lobster salad, poivre sauce, bacon corn brulee and NY strip. Tonight we ventured out and tried the creamed spinach and organic mesclun salad. Both were phenomenal. Their berries and cream is also so light and perfect and the perfect amount of sweetness after eating all that food. Bill the manager is always there when we come through and always makes an effort to stop by for a chat. He is such a sweetheart and very good at what he does. It’s truly always a pleasure at Uncle Jacks. I’m confused on the reviews complaining about the prices. Tonight we got a glass of wine each, 1 bottle of sparkling, 1 app, 1 salad, 1 16oz steak, 1 sauce,2 sides and 2 desserts for $200 AFTER 20% tip. “Great experience! Came here for the first time since being in the area for over 7 years and we were blown away by how amazing the food was. By far the best country fried chicken I've had from any chain. Wifey had the Burger and loved every bite and the staff was very friendly and attentive.
