“What an incredible find! I love Thai food and this is hands-down the best Thai restaurant in NYC. The entire staff was so friendly and accommodating and took great care to make sure we had a wonderful experience. Even the chef came out to greet us and make sure he got the spicy levels right for each of our dishes. I had the Pad See Ew with vegetarian duck, which was the best I have ever had. “We arrived before 12:30 on a Saturday and was lucky to get a parking spot. But surprisingly after we parked more spots opened up. We ordered a papaya salad, beef noodle soup, duck noodle soup and chicken curry. The papaya salad was quite spicy.“

I don't live around this area, and was just here to get the original chicken combo; but the fried chicken (see picture) looked really good, and I think it might be worth another trip back to try! “First visit 11/05/2023: The sukhothai noodles are beyond amazing, the flavors are so fresh and my mind was blown away by the combination of sweet, sour, nutty, fishy, and umami flavors. Will definitely be coming back for more!Second visit 04/15/2024: Ordered sukhothai noodle bowl again as I loved it so much last time - I believe it was cold last time? This time it was served hot, which I didn't like as much. Recommend ordering with standard rice noodle btw (not vermicelli as shown in photo). Also tried my friend's pork blood broth noodle soup which I didn't like much, but might be an acquired taste, and really enjoyed the pork meatball skewer!Keeping 5-stars for excellent food and service!“

“Bangklyn is without a doubt one of the tastiest and most unique restaurants in the city. The food is amazing and fresh, especially the fried chicken. The owner/cook/busboy is awesome and even though he won't say much, he is kind when he does talk and he works really hard to serve the customer. As for the decor, is it a thrift shop? Is it just decoration? It's difficult to tell, but either way it's cool. Highly recommend.“

“Very satisfied with the taste and portion size of Thai takeout from Thonglor, which may have gotten a new owner or chef since the old Red Basil? Green curry is tasty and includes nice large chunks of eggplant and bamboo shoots. Noodle dishes like pad kee mao and pad see ew have generous portion of noodles. We normally order from Pochana but have a new favorite in Thonglor, which costs slightly more but you definitely get a larger portion and good quality in return.“
“Found my new favorite Thai restaurant. This is hands down the best Thai food ever! We ordered the Tofu Pad Thai, Tom Kha Soup, Chicken Satay, Snapper, Crabmeat Fried Rice and Thai Iced Tea. So delicious! Not only was the food amazing but the service was also amazing. Our server Jack was very attentive. We definitely recommend this place and will absolutely be returning soon to try other dishes!“
“The Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, Tom Yum soup are the real thing. If you are looking for authentic, "mom's kitchen" Thai food like that secret place you used to regular in NYC, this is the place for you. The ingredients are fresh and dishes arrive piping hot (and the aforementioned plenty spicy!) from the kitchen. The service is friendly, ever present, and -- unlike that NYC place of yours -- you won't be pushed out the door. The atmosphere is basic which is the way we like it: they put the money into the food, not the décor. Unlike other Thai places, plenty of vegan options with the vegetable broths for the soups and non of the sauces are made with fish powder. My only feedback is that I wish there were just a bit more vegetables in the vegetable drunken noodles but they made up for that by putting plenty in the Tom Yum soup.Vegetarian options: Vegetable Drunken Noodles and Tom Yum soup were made vegetable broth based and were made without fish powder. Double check with your server. There were also plenty of vegan curries and noodle soups. Be sure to ask that your dish is not made with egg noodles.“

“We were very excited to come here based off of recommendations and knowing the connections to the other establishments (the attic, tavern157).My recommendations would be to order a bunch of the shared plates because it’s barely enough for two people.The sampler platter was a good introduction to the food ( the moneybag dumplings was my favorite of the night).On a Monday night it’s not busy, which surprised me when I had to order a side of rice (not warm) that didn’t come with the shared plates.The atmosphere is nice, it’s Instagram ready, the staff are people pleasing, street meter parking was available and it’s a quick walk down a flight of stairs to the restaurant.Bathroom is clean and the food is decent. Maybe the food sat in the window a little too long, I felt the food could’ve come out warmer.I would come back.“
“The Pho here is really amazing. Vermicelli bowls are also very good. They have a variety of proteins to choose from (beef and chicken are my favorites). We’ve had take-out and dine-in, both were great. I just hope they never change the recipe for their soup!“
“Great Neck can be a pretty barren place when it comes to food. This is one of the few restaurants we love and frequently get food to go. The staff are so kind and accommodating! They have the best customer service. When I went there to place an order they gave me a glass of water while I was waiting. We usually order curry puffs, beef or roasted duck pad see ew and chicken massaman curry … all are delicious. I’ve gotten the rib appetizer which are so tender they fall off the bone. Some things I ordered were spicy but they cooked it to my preference, which is pretty mild. I love them and was so glad they reopened from the old Krung Tepp, which we also enjoyed. It’s a pleasure coming here.“
