“Ive been to Chrome for benefits, local Motorcycle Club had there party there and a recent event celebrating the local music scene. All in all the place was ok. Lots of parking and roomy inside. I thought they should have used more than what they provided for a bar person. I did not Eat there, I never heard anything negative anyone“

“Love this place, we stopped in when we were looking for apartments in the area and the food was so good, the beer selection is great and the staff is excellent. We stopped in for a drink last night and had the same bartender as before, he remembered us and even asked how our apt search went! Definitely will be back and bringing all friends who visit here!“

“Pretty great spot. Bartender was very attentive and helpful. My only complaint would be that the selection was a bit lacking in variance. There were a lot of options, and good ones, but the vast majority were on the lighter end. IPAs, pales, etc. Very little in the way of dark. Not a big complaint though. Certainly wouldn't keep me from going back.“

“The bunker is a quaint spot for sure! Reasonable prices and a fun place! Good live entertainment, but not too loud. The pretzels are amazing, and the burgers were good. Drinks were made to order! I didn't love the meatballs, but that's just me. My husband finished them off no problem. Alexandra, our server was super friendly and helpful! We will be back for sure!“

“We had a birthday celebration for my bride on Sat 1/20/24 5:30pm. Ryan's Wake is a true public house in the tradition of the Irish pubs. I had made an online reservation request for a party of 8 on Fri. And had a very prompt response, one hour, from Emily to confirm our reservation. When we arrived we were greeted by the hostess - tall, dark hair young woman who I failed to get her name. I had asked her if she was Emily b/c I wanted to thank her for the reservation. She said no but later she introduced us to Emily because she said that everybody likes to be recognized for their good service. Sweet. Our table was set with menus. Our server was J.J. (Justin) who took the drink orders. One of our party knew J.J., as he was a customer at his Stewart's Shop. The final two of our party arrived and we ordered our meals. Apps up first - bacon ranch fries ($12) enough for 4, bbq chicken dusters (tenders) ($12), and a "Not Too Many" (7) shrimp cocktail ($12). NOTE: the "Way Too Many" is 14 for $20. Whatta Deal!Dinners were: bacon blue burger ($15), Chicken Quesadilla ($15), two of the "Best Reuben You Ever Had" corned beef w/ requested mustard instead of Russian dressing w/ fries ($15). Nailed it. A Kickin' chicken sandwich (ala Nashville( ($13) - chix thigh crunchy outside, moist & tender inside. And two "Quintessence" chicken teriyaki dinners w/ cold spinach noodles & side Parisian salad w/ pickled veg ($15). A Capitol District favorite that Ryan's does exceptionally well. One diner didn't really like her Caesar wrap b/c of the dressing was different from her previous Caesar experiences. JJ & hostess apologized but this was not a big deal to us. Surprised when we got the bill that her meal was "comped". Not necessary, but GREAT customer service. As we were leaving we ran into Chris Ryan the owner. This was fortunate b/c we got to thank him in person and compliment his staff. A most gracious publican.A great time during another fun visit to Ryan's Wake.Thank you to Emily, JJ, the hostess, the kitchen, & Chris. See ya soon.Nick & the birthday girl Liz, Albany, NY“

“We were out on a road trip and decided to crash the local pub after dinner for cocktails and karaoke. Reget going to dinner beforehand. The food coming out of the kitchen looked and smelled great. Drinks were good and reasonable priced. The locals took us in and we had a great time. 5 stars for Songbird Karaoke.“

“2024 update: This place is still a favorite, but much of the magic has faded over the dozens of times we’ve gone. We used to refer to it as the Pride of Latham, but now it’s just a solid spot. They used to have Switchback and I’d swear their Macs (particularly the buffalo) were the best I’ve ever had and they weren’t stupid expensive. Prices have gone up, and quality has at least seemingly dropped particularly since COVID.Will still continue to be a loyal patron. Cute rustic interior and nice vibes. Staff is always very kind.Parking: The lot at the actual building is TINY and cumbersome to navigate—I’ve only parked there once or twice in my twenty or so visits. Instead you’re better off parking at the nearby lot two buildings down the street at the “Colohouse Data Center and Hosting” building area—there are specially marked spots for Tipsy Moose.“

“So I'm from Indiana and delivered across the street from Joe's. I read there reviews and thought what the hell I'll try it out. Bit am I glad I did. Was treated like I'd been there a thousand times. The food was great the drink was strong but not to strong and the hospitality was like being in the south. So if you're out that way stop and have a drink and some wings. I'll have to add photos later can't find them“

“Had a great time. Drinks were amazing! Our food order came out a bit mixed up and when I looked around for my waitress she noticed me looking and immediately came over. She then went right to the kitchen and waited for what we needed bringing it right back out. My tater tots were a bit too salty for my taste, but everything else was amazing. Will definetly go back!!“

“Pretty good, but pretty expensive.Ordered ahead over the phone, going with The Charleston and the SS Calamari. Total came to roughly a bit over $35 before tip, which was pretty pricy for just two menu items, especially for the calamari clocking in at over $15 and an up charge on any side aside from chips with the Charleston. (which is a chicken wrap with bacon, honey mustard, tomato and lettuce though I had the tomato held)Amusingly almost got my meal for free as the waitress thought I had ordered through the online system, and luckily for her I corrected her misunderstanding and paid for it as I should. But they might want to be a bit better about that, might not be so lucky the guy next time won't just waltz out the door with a free dinner. But was the taste worth the price? Well, yes and no. The wrap was good, but nothing amazing or shocking. The onion rings were alright, good flavor, but just a tad underwhelming. I think they needed more of a crunch. And the calamari, well it needed a bit longer in the fryer for sure, a little doughy to me, but boy was that sauce they included so interesting! It heavily reminded me of mincemeat. Not a flavor I'd though I'd have on fried octopus, but it worked. So yeah, pretty pricy. I mean, this is a pub, the price should be far more reasonable for the appetizers since that's most of what your bar goers will order. But what I got was pretty good, some minor complaints, but nothing that made me deduct a star.“

“This new Asian restaurant, which only opened in Aug., 2023, is located in the A-frame building, previously known as TJ's Cafe. It's the next restaurant for Ruby Liu, owner of Tengu Asian Bistro, which also is on Central Ave. They have their own parking lot. The waitress was friendly. Their menu wasn't as extensive as you often see at Asian restaurants. Although you could order other items, their lunch menu had a choice of 3 lunch bowls; 3 grilled dishes that came with noodles; & wings & fries. My Fire Grilled Shrimp Lunch had a nice flavor. My dining companion though thought her Beef Rice Bowl Lunch entree was on the small side & that it didn't contain enough grilled beef. FYI, although I didn't try it, under Soup on their menu, they offer Borscht!“
