“For a takeout place, Avli serves some pretty good gyro, souvlaki and falafel sandwiches on pita. I now live in Ft Myers and believe me I've searched high and low for a place like this and I'm still looking. The falafel is especially good, very filling and tasty. Maybe $12 is a bit steep but this is 2023 and everything is expensive now. I'll head back here again, and probably again, before I head back down south“

“This is my first time going to RoRo gyro. I ordered the RoRo hero with everything on it. It was so delicious. Also, the hero was put together by someone who cares about what they're doing, not slapped together by someone taking their anger out on it. I highly recommend this place! PS: I didn't go inside so idk anything about the atmosphere.“

“My absolute favorite Greek restaurant! They have several locations, but I like the one in Bayside the best because I find it's not as crowded as the other ones. The parking here can be a little tough but there is a municipal parking lot about 3 short blocks away and you can also take public transportation there, it is about a block away from the Bayside Long Island Railroad station. Try their steak its my favorite, but I also recommend the octopus, and their fish is always fresh and delicious, but you really can't go wrong with anything you get here. This place is always super clean, the service is always great and they pour a great drink. Now, this is an edited review from my original because i just had to mention Arif, who is the general manager. When you meet Arif you will understand why this place is so great. The guy makes you feel like family and makes sure you have a top-notch experience. Well done, Arif. What else can you ask for! “We ordered assorted gyros, souvlaki, tacos and baklava. The staff was friendly and the service was wonderful. Over all decent and accommodating to the greek culture with a twist of spanish. Only thing I would change is to add oragano salt and pepper to the gyros and don't blend the tzatziki makes it a bit pasty in texture but flavor was 7/10. The baklava less refrigerated time and more syrup not leaving the tops so dry. Would visit again.“

“No nonsense Greek food mostly for takeout although there are a few tables to eat in. The chicken souvlaki is good but the homemade chicken gyro is even better. They don't always have it available though. Reasonably priced and they usually prepare orders quickly. Always a good choice for Greek in Merrick or nearby towns.“

“My first time here and it was absolutely delicious! Everything was so fresh, flavorful and cooked perfectly. We had the vegetarian meatballs, zucchini chips, grilled chicken sticks, grilled lamb sticks and more. I loved the atmosphere. My sister is gluten free and there were so many options for her (including a separate fryer to insure no allergy). You must try this place!Dietary restrictions: They have a separate fryer for gluten free fries, etc. All their food is labeled as gluten free on the menu with so many options.“

The food is delicious - omg the zucchini chips, their dip (hummus and tzatziki sauce) and pita bread platter, calamari and sauce, their grilled shrimp, veggies, even salad is amazing! The whole family and children tend to eat very well when we come here! Would highly recommend. They even had a live jazz singer with band playing this past Saturday when we went. “My friends and I came in on a Sunday evening for dinner and we were greeted by Rob who was the kindest and most delightful server ever. All of our meals were well cooked, balanced, and delicious. We came in with an appetite and dug in without taking photos of our dishes but they were all a 10/10. Highly recommend! For reference, we ordered the pita spread as a starter and had the Greek salad with grilled chicken, stuffed chicken with vegetables, and the lamb chops with lemon potatoes as our entree selection and ended the night with Maria’s award winning Blueberry Baklava which in our opinions needs more awards. Every dish we had was absolutely delicious and tasted super fresh. Both the quantity and quality were on point. The waitress was very kind and even checked if a few items were vegan. “Such a great little hidden spot off of Francis Lewis Blvd. Serving THE freshest spinach pie! I need to try other dishes here, although I have enjoyed their Greek salad too, comes with crispy pita breads. Cozy little spot, with great service. They offer delicious Greek yogurts dessert worth a try. Go--you won't be disappointed!!“
