“My 6 year old and I were in that part of Rochester and hungry. We picked this restaurant because it had a picture of a heart-shaped Pizza, post Valentine's day on the profile. They were very nice to us and let us order that even though it's probably off the specials menu because we are past that "holiday". Anyway, we sat and waited for it in their space which was really built more as a takeout restaurant with a skinny lunch counter. But it was a slow Sunday afternoon for them so I think they humored us. When they brought out the pizza there was this adorable little plastic pizza cutter roller. Don't know if it was given to us because I had the kid with me or it was a promotional thing but I'm keeping it and it was cute. Not super robust but safe enough for my child to cut their own piece of pizza. Would definitely go there again but don't know when that could possibly be!Kid-friendliness: My 6YO felt like an adult because they got to cut their own pizza. Also there were napkin holders everywhere so you know someone was designing it for little (or messy) people.“

“Oh my god theyve got some GOOOOOD vegan cheese here. Get the garlic knots.Vegetarian options: Vegan so totally vegetarian friendly. Their fake meats are pretty good. “Peels On Wheels does great vegan pizza! The toppings are extremely high quality. I don't remember exactly what it was called, but they had this kind of sundried sweet red bell pepper that was out of this world. I had that New York style with shallots, banana pepper rings, and vegan pepperoni. The owner works in the kitchen alongside his employees and really cares about producing superior pizza. Their pies are so much better than what you'll get ordering from a chain!“

“This is my second time ordering from here, and definitely won't be my last. First, the staff and owners are some of the kindest people. Very friendly and welcoming. The inside of the restaurant is not too small and not too big where you feel like you don't matter. Very clean inside. This was hands down one of the best meals I've had. The chicken shawarma pita is perfectly toasted with grilled chicken and veggies inside. The spice mix was delicious and not overwhelming. The falafel is perfectly crispy on the outside, and moist on the inside without drying out. 5 stars.“

“Super vibey. Smash burger was amazing. Wife had the shaved veg salad and said she'd "eat a salad every day if it tasted like this!" Lack of wait staff takes a little getting used to but it's fine. In the end, food is great and atmosphere is cool which is what you probably care most about. Worth it.“

“This posh place stays busy, so just remember to make a reservation unless you want to eat at the bar! Now, everything I ordered was big and too much! Had leftovers for days!!! ?The ceiling is exposed, the cocktails are strong, and the menu is niche! Dimly lit, you can access this restaurant from outside or inside of Village Gate. And don't forget the food is delicious! My falafel was a bit overcooked, but hey... ??‍♀️“

“Never been to this establishment in Buffalo, but always heard amazing things about their wings, so was glad it came to Rochester. Finally had an opportunity to check it out and to see if it was worth the hype. Long story short, it most certainly is, the wings were perfectly cooked and sauced, and our waitress was knowledgeable and friendly. The menu is small, but everything was well made and flavorful. Will be back for more.“

“The pizza at Montesano's is excellent. I order on a weekly basis and it's always on point cooked just right. The owner is awesome and very attentive to customers. Located right next to the falls and Lehigh valley trails makes the perfect scenery to stop by and get a pie!“

“We had our wedding reception at the Railroad Street Beer Hall and it was everything we could’ve ever hoped for, and more! Nikki, the event coordinator, was amazing from the start. She was happy and willing to accommodate any and every request we had. She was always 3 steps ahead of us, and made sure everything went off without a hitch- and it did! Reception planning can be very stressful, and Nikki really helped make it a fun and relaxed experience for us. The staff during the party was phenomenal, especially the bartender! So many of our guests commented on how fun and kind the staff was during our party! The food was also fantastic, and the atmosphere ensured that everyone had a wonderful time. We are so grateful for Rohrbachs and the wonderful people that work there - I would (and have) recommend having an event here to anyone! “Went for Valentine's Day and had a great time. the restaurant itself is quaint, with a nice relaxing vibe. The homemade pasta( I had the vodka sauce) was really tasty. the stuffed chicken special with the red pepper sauce was on another level. The hostess and our server were extremely friendly. “First, the food took its sweet time getting to us and the meal timing was off. My guest received their meal 13 minutes prior to mine. The food is absolutely delicious and the service/hostess/waitress were extremely nice. I love the Lost Meatball Ragu pasta dish but it’s a bit pricey at $22.00. All in all, a great experience. “I used to frequent the other cam's by east and Alex before the pandemic hit and swept it away. I used to love it as it reminded me of nj boardwalk pizza . “Gluten free pizza and mocktails! What a fun place for food and drinks! They have a wood oven they make all their pizzas in, minus the gluten free. Gluten free is prepared and cooked separately to reduce cross contamination. Be prepared to wait +20 minutes for a gf pizza. I ordered the pizza special on the gluten free crust. Not bad! It's a bit thicker (not full Detroit but not NYC thin). Overall, not bad. I would order it again, but this wouldn't be my first choice for a GF pizza. The crust fine, a little dense and premade. They have a couple of fun mocktail options that aren't some overpriced lemonade junk. I would recommend going for the atmosphere and drinks (alcoholic or not). I'm excited to see what else I can try on the menu. The staff are so friendly and helpful! All my questions were answered and it was so fun watching everyone cook at the pizza oven! Street parking and small lot for customers, both free.“

“I judge every restaurant by their Caesar salad….they passed the test! Also, HIGHLY recommend the Fig Blossom cocktail. The balance of flavors was perfect. It was very refreshing & laid back. “Double date night! Wedge salad was excellent. A little heavy on the crumbled blue cheese and creamy blue. My boyfriend had the house salad to start and an iced tea. Split a funghi pizza with double chicken Vanilla crème brûlée to top off the night with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream. I also had the basil martini. I don't typically drink. I wanted to try something new. It was phenomenal. Our friends had the Risotto and Chicken Marsala. A few glasses of wine later and they had a great time and meal. The service was prompt. It was a busy Saturday night around 7pm. We will be back soon for another yummy dinner! No pictures this time around. We were enjoying time with our friends.“

“The people were incredibly nice and the pizza was great. Recommend trying the Dill Pickle Pizza if you like pickles. It's a lot of pickles so you have to really like pickles. If you don't really like pickles I would get a different type of pizza. I can't emphasize enough how many pickles are on the dill pickle pizza.“

“A friend and I tried this restaurant for the first time last night and had a great experience. In addition to their extensive menu, they have a great vegan menu. Our food was prepared quickly and we both enjoyed our meals. The portions were so generous we were able to take home leftovers. The atmosphere is pleasant and the location is convenient to Eastman Theatre, where we attended a concert afterwards. I highly recommend Strombolis. They've been in business for 30 years and I can see why!“

The pizza with steak and Bleu cheese and had a balsamic glaze! Who else has that? Um, no one. If someone else does that let me know. Prices were very fair. Not cool. ?When people know from the menu the prices; they expect to know the final bill. “1st time ordering and it was a success all around. I ordered the turkey club panini my husband ordered the chicken finger panini as well as large pepperoni mushroom pizza. I am pleased that the French fries traveled well and that both sandwiches were well loaded with fresh ingredients and meat. I cannot express how glad I am that there is cheddar cheese vs just an american cheese option. The bread was different but totally delicious and complimented the sandwich. I haven't tried the pizza yet. My husband did and said it's "way better than other local options". “A group of 10 of us (6 adults 4children) stopped in for a quick dinner. There was very short line. We were able to order quickly. We ordered 1 pizza for every 2 of us (that's 5 pizzas), along with 2 orders of wings. The pizzas were done very quickly and everyone liked their pizza and the wings. We then had a scoop of hard ice cream each and it too was delicious. The staff were all very feiendly. We all really enjoyed this place and will definitely be back whenever in the area. “We live right up the road from Linas, and have had slushes and ice cream in the summer, but never ordered food. On the suggestion of our neighbor, we tried the Wednesday Wings special. The wings were delicious~cooked perfectly, nice size and great sauce. But what really impressed me was the side salad!! I ordered a small salad for $3.99, and expected a small salad, lettuce, tomato maybe a slice of cucumber. What I got was a good sized salad (I thought maybe I got the large by mistake!), with fresh lettuce, sliced green pepper, many slices of cucumber, tomato and shredded cheese! “Vern's didn't have any parking and I wasn't about to walk in the cold, so I gave Freddie's a shot. Ordered a slice of the pepperoni and one cabonera. The pepperoni was great. I probably should have ordered another slice while there, but didn't want to stuff myself. The atmosphere leans towards a younger crowd with arcade games and a stage for singers, which is pretty unique for a pizza place. Had no issues and I'll certainly recommend Freddie's to others. “We moved to the Chili area a couple of years ago. For a bit, we struggled to find a good pizza on this side of town. Then we tried this place, we have now ordered from there 4 times and this has become our go-to spot. This seems to be the only pizza place on this side of town that is capable of consistently producing great pizza. This time, we ordered a white pizza with broccoli, onions, and spinach. It was absolutely delicious, not to mention visually appealing as well. It was coming out of the oven right at pick up as well. This Pontillos location is amazing. We will be back for sure.“

“The food was ok, my niece ordered a pizza, ended up eating 1 piece and throwing it out, i had shrimp cesear salad and it was good, my sister had rigatoni with meatball, that was good also. “If you’re in the Rochester area, I highly recommend Linda’s and more specifically their pickle pizza with the ranch sauce base. The pizza was made to perfection and the sauce was creamy and tangy. They also had an old bay fry pizza that was introduced today (2-16-24) as part of their Funky Friday line up for a limited time. Being from Jersey I had to try it, and it did not disappoint. A must try if you love old bay fries. I hope to see it become a permanent item on the menu. Thank you Linda’s staff for the great pizza and super friendly atmosphere!“

“I ordered the Buffalo Bills pizza for the playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. First off, they contacted me when the game was rescheduled and offered accommodations so that I could get the pizza and bake it myself as they weren’t open on Monday when the game would be played. THEN called back again to let me know they were going to open on Monday after all and scheduled a time for me to pick up my pizza. Awesome customer service and only outdone by the delicious pizza!! “Don’t be fooled by the mall location. Cosimo’s pizza is seriously the best we’ve had in Rochester. Their pizza has great crust that is light, has perfect “pizza oven crunch” and is flavorful. Their sauce and cheese also have great flavor, and toppings are always fresh and cooked perfectly. The calzones are so filling and to die for. I don’t know why it took us so long to realize we could order full pizzas ahead of time but this is our new pizza night in go-to.“

We literally have a Mark's location 2 miles from our home but we drive to this location because of their outstanding service, wonderful food & if there is ever an issue with our order, they happily correct it.
