“My favorite location in WNY. They always do a fantastic job with our order, and the espresso at this location has better crema than Starbucks so that's a thing (and I'm pretty picky about it). The bean team here is always super sweet too, they work quickly but accurately and they're heaps cool. I'm probably biased because they like my streetlegal gokart, but they're definitely my favorite location. Thanks for regularly filling my orders for chaos juice“

“Got a Harazi coffee and slice of beehive. I was going between that coffee and a Turkish coffee and the person working at the counter said he liked that one better. It was very hot but so delicious as well. One bite of the beehive and you will be in love. It’s sweet but not overly sweet. Would totally recommend checking this place out if you are in the area!“

“Very few places nail every part of the experience but this place does. Food was amazing. They mill their own flower in house and you can see them do it. The baked goods are fresh and delicious. The coffee was some of the best I’ve had. The service was top shelf. They had a line on a busy Saturday morning but they moved it quickly and it never affected the quality of the service“

“The service was pretty friendly: the baristas were approachable and conversational. The atmosphere has a different approach with a warehouse feel, yet still has the Cafe affect. I got a salted caramel late: it was tasty with a side of latte art in a clear glass cup. I absolutely love that this place used clear glass cups. It adds to the Cafe feel! There isn't many options for the way of food other than pastries and bagels. Maybe expand their menu a bit in that department would add to the experience of Buffalo being a food city.“

“Wow! Talk about friendly staff! I found them because my GPS took me there instead of the business around the corner for my yelp elite bagel pickup. The guys working the deli counter asked their dad about where the bagel pick up was and he actually walked me there! We talked about me living in Chautauqua and places to eat there and here.I went in to buy some things from them and tip them well. The place was so clean and smelled amazing! All of the staff were beyond welcoming!I bought a banana pepper habanero hot sauce, 2 slices of take and heat lasagna, chips, deli meat, and a take and heat frozen pasta with vodka sauce and sausage. Wow! We loved everything!2 huge slices of lasagna were only $24!I highly recommend them!“

“(This review is for the Buffalo, NY location) Read about this new Yemeni coffeeshop opening up and wanted to check it out. It was a nice space with a decent amount of seating inside wrapped around the counter. Smelled delightful with all the blends of coffee and teas inside too! Since I’m not a big coffee drinker, I got a tea instead, specifically the Adeni Chai. It was a black tea mix with cardamom and nutmeg, which was something different for me, but I enjoyed. The main thing I came for was this treat that they called Honeycomb, which is a traditional Yemeni pastry. It was filled with cream cheese and had honey drizzled on top. They break apart into these little balls and it was so yummy. Definitely recommend checking this out if nothing else. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I enjoyed sitting in the shop and doing some quality people watching while I enjoyed my tea. Got a couple treats to-go as well, so I’ll have to update this review after I have those.“

“You ever witness someone harassing a service worker and just know they’re going to come on here and give an awful review? I witnessed the exchange noted today, and a few key details seem to be missed. Firstly, it should be noted this locally owned business is run by only two people. The woman taking orders is also the barista making specialty drinks not just pouring coffee, and the other gentleman is making all of the food fresh to order. Is she the warmest soul I’ve ever encountered? No. But she is efficient and knowledged and working her butt off.The entire group of 5 proceeded to gang up on her and shout things across the very small space after the woman working tried to defend herself and implored them to remember she’s a human being and they continued to bully her. Even then, she proceeded to serve them their food with a kind disposition even though I’m sure she was feeling defeated. All of that aside, for a real review, the food was so good I went two days in a row. Coffee was hot and delicious. Lots of options for any dietary restrictions. A great little spot.“
“Only tried the kombucha there and it was delicious! So many flavors to choose from, and the lady was lovely.FYI it’s a bit hard to find because you have to go through a small alley etc, we thought we were at the wrong place at first, so, don’t get discourage by the lack of signage, it’s there and worth a visit!“

“This place has the opportunity to be way better and way cooler than it is. Don’t order the breakfast sandwich, they microwave them. The pastry’s are excellent and the coffee is good, and the service is great. But they should have more jam band decorations and have more board games and AN ACTUAL COOK making sandwiches. Great spot with good coffee and pastries but that’s it“

“I think this may be my favorite dinner I've ever visited in Buffalo. We arrived around 2:15 pm, and they close at 3 pm, so clearly they aim more for the breakfast to lunch crowd, because the place was empty except us. They offer little donut bits as appetizers, which was a new one on me. Good stuff, too. Apparently all their food is made on premises, including the donuts. The staff (owners I think?) were super friendly & accommodating. The space is comfortable without being run-down, nice without being stuffy. There's also a covered outdoor area, but it was too muggy out today so we stayed inside where it was cooler. The music was just classic rock, and was very background, to the extent that it doesn't impede a conversation, so basically perfect. Mum got the tuna melt, was very satisfied, and I had the veggie skillet with pepper jack, which was tremendous. When asked what kind of cheese, there were 6 options (cheddar, provolone, and so on), so I said "surprise me" because they all sounded good. She narrowed it down: "white, orange, or weird," so I said, naturally, "weird." Which is how I got the excellent pepper jack (which she picked instead of feta, the other weird option). It was also noted that they're very open to mixing up menu items, and that they try to make the specials relevant to area events, like the Italian sausage being available during the recent Italian festival. Also great, the prices were *so* reasonable: the bill only came to $25 & some change, which means $30 for the two of us, which is a really good price for how good everything was, & the charming atmosphere. The location is a little out of my usual range, but I'll definitely have to make special effort to hit them up again in the future. Love it!“

“They have a great variety of breakfast sandwiches here and the baked bread selection is amazing. We always get a dozen pretzel and rosemary bagels to go and freeze them for later. They also have a nice selection of cream cheeses and other goodies like fresh eggs and pickled red onion in their cooler. Definitely recommend ordering online because there usually is a 20 min wait for sandwiches if you get there after 9am.“

“Went for the first time last week and the food was delicious. But I was especially impressed with the fact that they used coffee ice cubes in my iced coffee! I do this myself at home but have never been out to a restaurant that does it! Means as the ice cubes melt the coffee doesn't get diluted with water, because the ice cubes are just more coffee! Fantastic.“

“Balanced Bite is in the former Flourish location on Broadway in Lancaster and oh my goodness !!! their food is FABULOUS!!!!! All vegan. No processed oil, sugar or salt.... Their breakfast sandwiches are divine! Everyone who works there is friendly and fun and in the back is an incredible chef who went to the NYC Culinary School and rumor has it he was offered a job in a Michelin Star vegan restaurant in NYC and turned it down to come work in Lancaster! Their vegan Buffalo Wing soup is out of this world!! I always order their meal prep. Five awesome meals...big enough to share! Always delicious! Their hours are limited to Friday & Saturday. They have a great breakfast & lunch menu. Plus a deli case full of wonderful vegan things like vegan "egg" salad, "chicken" salad made from chick peas, hummus, "cheese" for nachos..they also have amazing smoothies & great coffee. Nice selection of healthy baked goods like muffins and cookies and fantastic sour dough bread! It's a tiny place with maybe 6 tables and chairs...it's charming. For healthy eating that tastes phenomenal... THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!!“

“I stopped into taste with some friends for an impromptu brunch after Pilates. I’ve passed this place so many times and have not had the pleasure to dine here until today. Taste is a copper cute and cozy fast casual spot to grab a meal, snack or a beverage. They have breakfast, sandwiches, salads, soups, smoothies, teas and coffees made with fresh and high quality ingredients. You place your order and seat yourself at one of their many tables and pick up your order when it’s ready at the counter. An adorable touch here is that they pick a famous character and pair it with your order to call out when your food is ready. It was fun and cute to see who everyone got. I was paired with Wonder Woman!I ordered a white chicken chili and an iced coffee with oat milk. The white chicken chili was delicious, very flavorful and had lots of chicken, white beans and just a little kick of heat from jalepenos. It came with a very cute and delicious looking roll which I was not able to sample myself. The coffee was fresh and delicious. Plenty of caffeine for a wake up but not so much I was jittery. My friends ordered breakfasts which were generously portioned and all looked delish.I did ask about gf bread and they said they have rolls but just ran out. So that’s a nice perk for the gf folks. Overall a good experience even though I can’t eat a ton on the menu. But I’d highly recommend if you are in the area.“

“I always come to try the specialty drinks and they are always amazing! I love getting a cinnamon roll of the day and occasionally I'll get some cheesecake bites, key lime pie when they have it or brownies which are all amazing. The only thing that always seems to disappoint when I go is their breakfast sandwiches and wraps... the egg is huge making the other ingredients almost garish like. I paid extra for meat and I barely tasted it because of how much egg was on it. Everything else is amazing just not a go to for a $14 breakfast wrap“

“What a great experience. Needed cannollis and lobster tails to go for a long ride back to Maryland. The filled the cannolis as we waited. She packed them and wrapped them for travel in a cooler at her suggestion. She cared enough to ensure they stayed fresh for when we got back home. You don't find that much anymore. The deserts were incredibly tasty and properly dry thanks to the attentiveness of their staff. You can't go wrong by eating here or getting it to go. Thank you to the wonderful staff that we were lucky to meet.“

“We frequent Kornerstone Cafe. The breakfast sandwich that we like has an egg, asiago cheese and a bit of spinach on a homemade english muffin or bagel. Both are great! One of the staff members there is Sam. He is a hoot, so nice, a hard worker and always very pleasant. As for the drinks, we get the iced caramel latte...it is so good. They use Monin syrups which I think taste the best. Recently, my daughter tried the iced white chocolate lavender matcha. WOW, just terrific. I don't like lavender or matcha but this was really good!! I say give this place a chance. If you're not happy with something, let them know. The owner, I have spoken to a couple of times is also very gracious and I really just love this place. It gets 5 stars.“

I am absolutely stuffed and so appreciative of fresh tasting and looking ingredients.Vegetarian options: I am an omnivore that likes to eat vegetarian or vegan often. “We stopped in for a coffee at Mambrino King in East Aurora today, killing time between appointments. I felt like we were stepping back in time to a sumptuous and opulent jewel-box of an intimate coffee house / cocktail bar. I easily imagined that I was aboard the Orient Express in all its turn of the century loveliness! It was truly a feast for the eyes as well as the palate! The furnishings were carefully curated and wonderfully staged for maximum gorgeousness! They also serve up a wide array of cocktails and liquors, if that's your thing. Coffee is prepared on demand so freshness is key! I thoroughly enjoyed a cup of Red Eye, with its satisfying shot of espresso. My husband had a cup of house blend, equally delicious. When you order a coffee, you get a complimentary refill before you leave! We'll definitely add this coffee shop in our rotation when we're circulating through the Main St area in East Aurora!“

“Went for Sunday brunch. The food was great! (Biscuits and gravy and my wife got the Italian chicken and waffles). The service was great. The decor and ambiance were great. The only "bad" thing, if you want to call it that, is that the room is very live, so it can be a challenge having a conversation. “Long time Tops fan/shopper during my college days. Missed Tops so much as they don't have it in NYC. This Tops location was my first visit in years, I was very impressed with the spacious size (but Tops and Wegmans are usually very large and spacious). I was able to check out their deli counter to get some freshly sliced pepperoni for pizza night. Very cheap at $5.99 a lb while the prepackaged pepperoni were $5-7 for less than a lb. Couldn't find fresh pizza dough but found frozen crusts. Their cafe grab and go selection was nice but limited. Check out was quick and easy.“
