Despite the crowding, they will be ready for you at your scheduled reservation time. The prices are reasonable. The service is ok. The Wait staff is well-versed in the subtleties of the menu. Even the bus staff are helpful beyond their job description. Due I think to the well-deserved popularity of the establishment, service can be a bit slow. The bar is magnificently stocked with hard to find bourbons at your disposal. There is real talent in that kitchen. If it wasn't for delays between certain courses, and waiting a long time for the check, 800 Maple would've earned the fifth star.“

“Very pleased. We have tried a variety of places in the area for Chinese and have been fairly disappointed. Wok and Roll did not disappoint. We had Moo Goo Gai Pan and Cashew Chicken, also the Won Ton soup. We found all to be prepared well with sauces not being oversalted and the ingredients of very good quality. Plenty of cashews in that dish and the Won Tons were a generous amount in a delicious broth. The place was clean and efficient. This will be our "go-to" moving forward. Thank you Wok and Roll!“

I'm sorry to report: "soft-serve" in the Golden State is a poor excuse for the real thing. It's got no structure--your tongue cuts right through it in about three licks. Also, I'm pretty sure their cows aren't as happy as they claim to be. So, whenever I go home for a visit, PJ Cools is my first and final stop.This custard is rich, sweet, and silky on your tongue. The texture is similar to softened butter--it melts slowly in your mouth. One cone comes complete with a thousand pleasant memories. What's more, the interior of this place is an explosion of kitsch: old-fashioned cartoons and advertisements line the walls.If you live anywhere near this magic little shack, don't take it for granted. “When you enter the first thought is WOW. This place looks amazing! You get to the front and you’re greeted by big easy to read menus on the wall, all the food is out steaming hot. Speaking of the food it’s absolutely delicious. The pulled beef and chicken is the perfect consistency, the rice is perfectly cooked, the hot sauce (I got a buffalo bowl) is just enough to burn and spice it up but not over powering. Also tried a peanut butter protein smoothie and all together it made for an incredibly filling meal.Finally service. Michael Khoury, the owner, was incredible. Everything was served and paid for quickly. Honest to god one of the best meals I’ve had in a LONG time. I can’t really say anything else, this place just checks everything off. “If you're looking for slightly elevated American Chinese food (with a couple of Thai options), this place is right up there with Red Pepper in Amherst as one of the best take-out spots in the suburbs.We don't eat meat so I can't speak to those dishes, but the General Tso Tofu and vegetarian fried rice and lo mein are all excellent. No weird yellow dye fried rice here, it's all very fresh.There is also a small discount for cash orders so I always stop at the ATM before picking up my order. “Food was good and reasonably price. The service was excellent. If I had to criticize anything, the calamari was just a touch over cooked. Monstrous portion of it though it it had excellent flavor. Arancini were large and very good. I had the chicken marsala and it was cooked perfectly. Sauce was very flavorful with a ton of mushrooms. Pleased with the experience. I would go back.“
“I can’t say enough about how great our experience was ordering from Fig Tree Patisserie. My kids both have food allergies, and we wanted something special that they could both eat to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. We ordered a cake and cupcakes that were dairy, egg, and soy free and they were INCREDIBLE. Not only did they taste amazing, but they were so beautiful and personalized to fit the rainbow theme.
