“I went over the weekend to this restaurant following my sister's suggestion. I want to said that she was 100% correct when she claimed that the chicken was the best she had ever had. After trying I can also attest to it, the chicken coupled with crisp veggies and flavorful rice was a good choice. We also tried the sangria and it was pretty good as well.I am planning to come back soon as there are other dishes that I would like to try.At last, the staff was super friendly and willing to please....Kudos to this new neighborhood restaurant!“
“This restaurant is the greatest. The owner and he husband are extremely nice and their food is excellent. Our 2 year old always enjoys the food herself. They have an extensive menu and the dishes are made fresh after you order. The appetizers such as the baby octopus and shrimp wrapped in bacon are on another level. The picaña is also amazing. Most people who are there are regulars. Very relaxing atmosphere as well.“

“My team member and I visited Chickys this past Sat for a tasting as we are organizing a large BBQ. We met with owner Asad who is a true professional and friendly guy. We tried multiple items including chicken sandwich, chicken and fries, BBQ chicken and rice and Mac and cheese and everything was Super fresh and absolutely delicious. I took the leftovers home and my family also said the food is super tasty. We are really looking forward to our guests enjoying this delicious food at our picnic.“
“I had lunch here today and it was really good! I got the grilled chicken with yellow rice and sweet plantains and two chicken and cheese empanadas.The grilled chicken and rice were good. The sweet plaintains were’t really very sweet how I like them but they were pretty good. The chicken empanadas were good and cheesy but I wish they had beef and cheese instead.Overall this is a pretty good lunch spot, and considering the area not too unreasonably priced. I would definitely go back here again.Parking: There is no parking lot. You have to park in the street.Kid-friendliness: You could definitely bring kids and your family there with no issues.“
“I recently dined at Madeira Sports Café with a friend on a quiet Tuesday night. The dual ambiance of a bar and dining area created a welcoming atmosphere. Our meal started with delicious beef pastries as an appetizer. For the main course, my friend enjoyed the pasta a la vodka, while I opted for the grilled shrimp with rice and vegetables. We paired our meals with a glass of Portuguese red and white wine.The attentive service by Mauricio, our waiter, truly stood out. When I praised the white wine without knowing its name, Mauricio went the extra mile, bringing an empty bottle for us to photograph. He also thoughtfully changed the TV channel from loud soccer to horse riding, enhancing our dining experience. Mauricio’s timely and polite check-ins added to the overall positive impression.The food itself was exceptional, and we chose to forgo dessert. With Mauricio’s attentive service and the delectable dishes, I confidently give Madeira Sports Café a perfect 5 out of 5 rating. “Had the bacalao fritters as an appetizer. They had small shards of bone in them. We each pulled bones out of our mouths. My friend ordered the cod named after restaurant. Had bones. No where in menu does it tell you that their plate is BONE IN. Made meal unpleasant.I had lamb chops. I must say they were thinnest lamb chops ever anywhere. Usually they’re 3 double chops in every place I’ve had them. Here they’re 4 single chops so thin you can’t get them medium rare as I ordered. I’d say go but ask lots of questions.“
“This is an excellent restaurant serving Portuguese food. We have enjoyed many of their offerings with family and friends. Paella is our favorite and we typically share a salad and a paella as this allows us to enjoy the variety and to avoid waste. We were somewhat put off by the server informing us that there was now a $10 sharing charge. Note that this was not on the menu. He did say that the paella would be a larger serving to compensate. There was an increase in the serving but this meant that there would be waste or the need to bring home leftovers which is not always convenient. We will probably go back but next time we will only have the paella and nothing additional.“
