The food was outstanding, and Joe and Monica were incredibly accommodating—communicating clearly right up to the day before the event. They never gave me any trouble, even as I kept adding guests to the list! I’m sad to see them leave the business, but excited for whatever comes next in their journey. But, but Yorkville NY, John the one who made my sandwich, the damn bomb. My dang 3 dollar taco looked and tasted like he respected the art of food.

“Food was great, however the menu was out of date, and we weren't told what was wrong with it (no ciabattas, other wing sauces). Bar has a decent selection of craft beers, but the draft list placed prominently in the middle of the room, that the waitress pointed is to, was incorrect, and the waitress was obviously neither a craft beer drinker, nor trained on what they did have. She was pleasant, but needed some training.”

“Best for miles. You will not be disappointed. If you like Crab Ragoons this is your place. They are always friendly. Prices are fair and food is always delicious and hot. The fried rice is a hit also. Do not drive by without getting something. The only thing I would change is the spring rolls. There not good. Your egg rolls were good then one day it was spring rolls.”

“Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.”

“The food was really good. All of it was made well and for the most part amazing service. My only issue was the white hostess told us there were no tables and seated us right by the door completely cramped. Asking another waiter he was able to move us and said we need to be done at 8 as the table was reserved. This was at 6, showing the hostess just did not seat us well and communicate properly. If seated there we were ready to leave, but because the other staff were competent, we stayed and enjoyed good food. My other issue is as the tables are small we could only eat one plate at a time. Otherwise, it was very good! I just wish the hostess did not ruin the experience from the get go, with her incompetence.”

“We had an amazing experience here this evening. The atmosphere was extremely relaxing and chill. The simple artistic decor creates a serene atmosphere. The food is delicious. We especially loved the beef tartar, duck, miso cod, milk bread, and shirt rib. Sticky toffee pudding was rich, but somewhat delicate. Cocktails were well balanced. Everyone was extremely attentive and the attention to detail made the entire experience one to cherish. I highly recommend this place. It's tucked away, but worth the trip. Looking forward to our next visit!”

“Always promised myself on my next trip to NYC I would go to The Dead Rabbit. I am so pleased I got to do it. The staff the cocktails the food and the decor & cleanliness were A1. Loved the welcome my friend and I got, (even when we were a bit late for our booking) throughout the service from the fabulous servers. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Bloody brilliant 👏”

“The Japanese and Italian flavors mixed well and are to come back for. I stayed in the hotel where the restraunt was attached. In the area, with a focus of cocktails and table service for an upscale environment, it was delightful.

I love cocktails, and the servers were personable. Nothing pretentious. They focus on service and taste! Our food was excellent and the drinks were even better. It's a pleasant experience.”

Noise level is average for a NYC area restaurant and service spot on (we were a table of 15 for a birthday, not easy to serve even with a pre fix menu!!)”
