“I was looking for a diner in Covington KY and came across PeeWee's. After reading reviews and the fabulous menu, decided to try it and so happy we did on a busy Sunday! Friendly guests greeted us in the lot and we felt warm hospitality as soon as we walked in. You could tell the owner, PeeWee loves what he does and that customers love him back. The corned beef hash special was excellent and all of our selections were well prepared and flavorful. What a hidden gem!!!!“

Chips on the side for sure. Big portion.Parking: There are a few spots out front. Or make your own while u run in and grab food. I've never had trouble parking. The sauce is quite butter based, so don't be afraid to go a little hotter than usual.Salad on the side.My husband had a cheeseburger. It was good... a little dry and seemed prepackaged but he didn't complain, so I'm calling that a win.The kids each had cheese sticks. “I was invited to a retirement party at Longshots. The food was catered in from the grill there. There were jalapenos poppers, chicken fingers and small slider type sandwiches. It was all good.They closed about half of the seating off for our party. The folks at the bar were extremely friendly and service was very fast.It was my first visit to longshots, it's a very typical bar and grill with decent drink prices. We will definitely be stopping back.“

I was in the mood for someplace different and I heard good things about Roosters. First off, the food is delicious. We got an appetizer, subs, and wings. I admit, I ordered more food than I could eat. The appetizer was the perfect size to share. The subs were actually full size which I didn't expect because the price is so low. The wings must come from a pterodactyl, because I have never seen larger wings in my life. They were well sauced and cooked properly. I really can't understate the value this place provides.“

The sandwich had good flavor and a lot of meat( Finley shredded very thin beef) There was not much else to the sandwich. There were a couple pics of lettuce and 3 pieces of tomato. The bread was very soft. The sandwich is very messy to try and pick up to eat but managable I ate it with a fork and knife. The fries were good. Had tons of cheese and ranch a small amount of bacon on it. Also got the original Philly cheese steak it was great same as the sandwich above. Lots of meat the lemonade is absolutely delicious tried the watermelon/strawberry highly recommend.“

“Quite literally my favorite wings of all time. Sauces: Might be the difference maker. For one they don't "go easy" on the amount. I always have some sauce left over on the bottom of the tray. Not an over powering amount but just enough. The flavors are just out of this world. I get Hot Buffalo and Teriyaki. The Teriyaki is incredibly sweet, and the Hot Buffalo is the perfect combination of both. The Wings: Uniform in size. Nothing too big or too little. Easy to cut with a fork. Perhaps more breading on the outer layer but doesn't bother me. They hire high schoolers to cook these in the back so they don't always get the temperature right but rarely an occurrence for me. The Ranch: a great compliment, it's not wing stop ranch but it's damn close. The Waffle Fries & Cheese: pretty unique combo. I love the idea of using waffle fries instead of your standard French fry. Unfortunately the cheese hardens up and doesn't fill up a full layer on top, for both reasons I would stick to a standard size of these instead of a basket of them. Plenty of excellent beers on tap. Inside is a great atmosphere and surround sound is some of the best I've heard in a sports bar. The patio area is pretty underwhelming. The TVs are all on one half of the room so depending on your seating you may be turn around the whole game. Otherwise there isn't anything they can do about it. Crossroads deserves much better than a 2 or 3 out of 5. Half of the reviews are a bunch of East-Siders upset about the self-service or cheap utensils. This place is a gem“
“I ordered a pizza tonight 12/21/23 around 7:00PM and called up to let them know I was sick and preferred contactless delivery so I wouldn’t get the driver sick. And the guy who answered the phone was the nicest, most friendly employee I’ve interacted with in a long time. He told me he would be delivering it. He waited a distance from my door to make sure I got it before telling me to have a good night. Seriously in this day and age dealing with an employee who doesn’t make you feel like a burden is RARE! This guy was awesome and deserves a raise. I wish I would have got his name.“

The only issue I had is that they said it comes with 3 garlic sauce cups with each beast, and we only got 3 altogether when we should have gotten 6. “Sort of a dive bar (which I like). The bartenders (owners) were very friendly, as were the customers I interacted with.I had the Chicken Dumpling soup, probably the best I ever had. It was packed with dumplings and they were delicious.I don't live in Cincy, but will go back to Shamrock whenever I'm in town.“
