Stopped at a Popeyes along I80 and got a spicy chicken sandwich, coleslaw, and a sweet tea. The sandwich was ?!! AMAZING!! (Still 2nd the Spicy Ch'King) the "sweet tea" had no sugar and the coleslaw was basic.
I was pleasantly surprised to see that Popeye's was in the rest area...However..... I asked for 2 chicken sandwiches with extra Mayo and one with extra pickles... After getting to our table and opening up the sandwiches, Neither had extra mayo, and I might have had one extra pickle and that was it.. I went back to request extra mayo to put on myself and the guy said I put 'more' than average mayo that I normally put on the sandwiches. (snottally... I might add) On my trip back...read full review

The food was good but the experience was overshadowed by the unbelievably rude service. We we're told there was a 6 minutes wait on sandwiches. We agreed to wait. After 20 minutes we could clearly see the sandwiches on the counter so we asked how much longer. The lady behind the counter yelled and then refused to hand us the order. She made her coworker hand it across the counter. Would not recommend the wait.
