“Finally got the chance to dine in at one of highest rated restaurants in the town. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We ordered lamb chops, lamb shawarma and chicken wrap. Lamb chops were okayish but the shawarma and chicken wrap were really good. In desserts , we were split between chocolate forte and tiramisu. We went for chocolate forte and it was delicious. I would recommend this place if you are in town.”

“My wife went to school at Ohio University... and we were in town with 5 other friends for four days enjoying the local roads (on our motorcycles) and enjoying the town every afternoon and evening.

A very welcoming bar with great bartenders and great drink choices... especially the draft list.

We were there mid-afternoon for beers and darts. Open mic started up soon after we arrived and that was pretty good... although pretty loud considering that there were only six of us in the place -- coulda dialed it back a bit.

“We have stayed at the Ohio University Inn on a couple different occasions and always look forward to breakfast at Cutler's. The Goetta Hash is our favorite, but we've enjoyed other options as well (various omelets, breakfast sandwich, breakfast bowl). We have eaten dinner there once and split the Chef's Board. The price was cheaper than we have paid for other charcuterie and cheese boards at other places and there was more than enough food for two people. I estimate that it would feed a family of 4 if you chose that as the line dinner option, and more if you had it as an appetizer. We could have used more bread and fruit options, but the 3 meats and 3 cheese were excellent. The service is always outstanding. We have enjoyed eat visit.”

“Took my father out for breakfast this morning and had the nicest server. She was super friendly and had a great recommendation on what to get. I had the breakfast burger and dad had the biscuit stack. The food was great and very generous portions. When we left, Dad forgot his cell phone on the table. We only knew that because our server came running out of the door as we got to our vehicle. Unfortunately, I didn't remember her name but we are very thankful and will definitely be back.”

“Came here for our Valentine’s Day dinner and was not expecting them to be as busy as they were. Our waiter was working his butt off to get everyone their orders and did it with a smile the whole time. Not only was the food fantastic but the customer service was one of the best I’ve had…. “The Crystal was a good bar to hang out in. They let you bring food in which is a big plus. We found a little loaf area where there was enough seating for a big group of people. There was Foosball and pool and some other games around. Crowded but not packed like the bar next door.”

“Nostalgia attack everytime I get pizza here. I was a student at OU and ate here countless times. The pizza is unique and absolutely delicious. I can't think of anywhere I'd rather get pizza from in Athens.

Eat here. Every chance you get you should eat here.”

“We went here because a friend went to college in Athens and said this was his favorite pizza while he was in school down there. I thought the pizza was alright. We also ordered side salads and waffle chips with Cajun seasoning. The salads were jam packed in those tiny bowls. The chips were crispy and flavorful.

The men's restroom was unique as the walls are brick and metal. 3 different heights of urinals. The stall door was odd as it was high off the floor. I liked the sink. It is like one found in a kitchen. Deep metal with tons of room to wash your hands(the opposite of a typical small porcelain sink).

The music being played was country. It was really loud too. I saw a couple groups sit down and then move to the courtyard outside where it was not as loud.

Would I go back? Most definitely.”

“The dining room was closed, so we ate on a bench in the mall. The portions were very satisfactory. My Mongolian Chicken was full of chicken. I ordered the mild. If we were in the dining area, I would have added soy sauce. That would have made mine much more flavorful.

My wife got Pad Thai. She wasn’t thrilled, but was not too disappointed, either. We might try it again IF the dining area is open. Otherwise, we will consider the other options in town.”

“The employees were just standing around talking as we stood there waiting to be searved. The kitchen workers just stared at us and did not notify anyone we were waiting One kitchen employee would walk out to watch baseball that was playing on the TV.. The menu was crappy with little to choose from. The floor was sticky as well. We did not get any utensils sauces or crackers with our order. Nobody came to ask if we wanted refills or to even see how our meal was. I would not have left a tip if I paid at the end of our visit.”
