Long John Silver's is consistent. It's not my favorite fast food in the world because it is almost always greasy. The fish is usually flaky and mild. The batter is crisp and light, but it is best served fresh because if the batter absorbs any moisture, the fish becomes soggy.

I went thru the drive through and the service was fine but my order was a complete mess. I can't eat seafood and I ordered the three piece chicken for myself and the shrimp and fish dinner for my husband. $24 later and a half hour drive home I discovered they gave me a 2 piece fish dinner with my husband's meal. I ordered number 8 on their menu which is shrimp. I got the sides Mac n cheese and fries. When I got back to work from ordering the food I opened the box to find this fried ball-like food. It wasn’t shrimp but it looked like they may have mistaken it for shrimp and put it in my box. I tried calling them because I’m at work and can’t go back but no answer, even though the place is dead. Cashier was nice though.
