“Lulu runs a very clean restaurant, with outstanding decor and atmosphere. The food is sort of standard restaurant tex/mex BUT everything on my plate is fresh and plentiful -read that as huge portions. The house salsa is top shelf, and the guacamole is also very good. Lulu does not serve alcohol, but you can bring your own.“

“My little girl (age 4) and I made reservations via the website for this evenings dinner. I specified that this was her first time to OU and that she was going through some intense testing that day. We arrived tired and hungry, and the lovely host asked us to wait for the manager. The Manager took us back to the nearest table that they had decked out in OU gear just for her. She made a silly kid request (she only wanted chips if they had cheese dip) and they honored it with a glorious pot of melty cheese for her. My ribeye was perfect. To cap the evening off with benigets was the highlight as she never is sad blowing out a candle. Overall, 20/10 experience - highly recommend and we will be back!Kid-friendliness: Hot dog arrived plain with choices of ketchup and mustard to choose from. Chips were fresh. Kitchen made cheese dip for her even though not listed on the menu. She also had a kid menu with crayons to draw on. Her cup was plastic and had a lid and straw.“

“When I tell you this was the most succulent grub I’ve ever had the pleasure to eat, I would not be lying. The fish is locally sourced from the hocking river and the locally obtained chicken hails from Nelson dining hall down the road! The second the delicate flaky fried fish gently touched my taste buds, I knew I’d be back. Don’t even get me started on the hush puppies! Before I even tasted one I heard a gentle hush coming from the fried beauty, almost as if to release me of my everyday pain softly implying “hey, it’s okay, you’re safe now” just as my mother used to say. It’s literally as if Gordon Ramsay and Guy Fieri had a love child and birthed the chef that works at this Michelin star establishment! I took my best buddy Nate and he agreed with everything I presented to you in this review. He (and I kid you not) goes back every single day with his husband J Robbie and son Nolan. When I asked Nolan how he felt he told me and I quote “I literally peed out of my butt when I first tried it” and followed up with “I literally club my son Nolan over the head with a wooden bat and yell ooga every time I smell the appetizers” I Would recommend the Athens LJS 100%! - From Peyton with Love ❤️“
