The atmosphere is friendly. The bartenders are nice and the other patrons usually are too. I did go in the summer months though, so they were mostly townies. The drinks are a good price and they have a great selection of spirits. They have live music sometimes that's usually very good.Parking: The best bet for parking here are the meters across the street by Casa. It was free all the times I went, but it's not always like that.
Tony's is my go to bar in a town full of bars. The bartenders are so skilled that they often intuit drink what I want before I even know. They are friendly and efficient and also willing to lend a friendly ear. Happy hour is perfect for patrons who prefer a chill more Cheers like atmosphere and later hours are bumpin' for the younger crowd. Tony's will not disappoint.

I went to OU back in the 90s, and this was my spot when my taste got a bit more sophisticated. Great bar, on the divey with pride side. Prices are great, didnt double on the rolling rock since last time I went in 1993! So glad its stuck around over the years. On my short list next time I return to Athens.
