“You can't go wrong with this bakery! We needed a cake that same day, and since I had been meaning to try Great Scott's Bakery before, I took the opportunity to call him and see if there was any chance that he had a chocolate and peanut butter cake on hand. He then said that he would be able to make us one from scratch, and in the time frame that we needed it, which was in a few hours! Perfect. We gave him the name for the top of the cake and left it at that. Scott got it done in record time. Went to pick it up and it was beautiful. He had gone above and beyond to make a stunning, one of a kind cake that, might I add, tasted fabulous! Could not have asked for anything more and the birthday boy was so happy with his cake! That was the best chocolate peanut butter cake we've ever had. Soft peanut butter frosting, rich chocolate ganache, and moist chocolate cake, fully decorated, in short notice, on a Saturday! I can't recommend Great Scott's bakery enough and we'll be back for every special occasion cake, and all their other yummy goodies! The cassata cakes look amazing”

“This is by far the best Chinese food in Brunswick. The egg drop with Wonton soup had wantons cooked to perfection. I also ordered Sweer and Sour Chicken, beef fried, rice, steamed and fried dumplings, szechuan spicy wontons, and bbq spare ribs.. I am from NY and I understand that Chinese takeout food is completely different here in the midwest.. I miss NY Chinese food especially the steamed dumplings, egg rolls, and pork fried rice... But I would definetly recommend ordering from here.. Only chinese place wife and daughter approved”

“The Seafood burrito is very good and a great deal but if you are a dip fan DO NOT buy them here!!!! We ordered a “regular size” queso and guacamole and it’s a joke. It’s a very small container of a pitiful amount. Queso is $4.99 and guacamole is $5.75 Do better!! I can go to other Mexican food restaurants in Brunswick and get 2-3 times the amount for the same price. I can get the same size of guac at chipotle for $2.75!”

“Just go! Make your way to this delightful spot that has delicious food and the most excellent hospitality by the owners. I had the Rueben sandwich and it was just heavenly! The best I’ve had in many years. Even though I live about 20 miles away, I’m going back as often as I can because I want to taste some of the large variety of items on the menu. Small dining room but with a big heart. Hospitality unparalleled.”

“I love how they toast the bread perfectly on their subs. The quality of their sub is top notch. The size is on the smaller side but for the price, its not bad. If you have a big appetite and order subs, you might want to order 2.I rated their service as 3 star because one time i ordered on the phone and came to pick it up. They had forgotten about my order but denied it and played it off instead of acknowledging and apologizing.”

“My 3 girlfriend's and I were out shopping and were not familiar with the area. So we googled restaurants near me. Barley Jack's came up. So we decided to give it a shot. Boy, were we surprised. The atmosphere, the food and service was awesome. We definitely will be back. I couldn't stop eating the fries..

“My wife and I just had dinner at Bianca's. The owner was working pretty much by herself. She only had someone working with her in the kitchen. The gentleman at the next table jumped in and was seating people, giving them menus and silverware. It turned out that it was like one big happy family, fellowship and chipping in to help each other. Kudos to Debbie (the owner), great food and great service taking care of all that were there !!!!!”

“My wife and I were staying at the nearby Quality Inn to see the total solar eclipse (wispy clouds but worth it). What more could one ask for than to have a restaurant only several minutes away by foot? All we wanted was decent food at a decent price and we were pleased for our three meals there. The banana bread itself is fantastic. What else was fantastic? Autumn and Sandra. They were real treats as very friendly servers and made our stay in Brunswick that more enjoyable. Sandra’s eclipse stories were especially a hoot. Thank you again.”

I like my usual lady through the drive thru, today was a young rude lady who inorged me, yelled at me, didn't ask if I wanted any sauce, and didn't give me a survey or her name. “Went there with a small group for a little goodbye get together! I have not been to an establishment in Brunswick for a very long time and it was extremely delightful! The food was amazing and the portion sizes were comically hilarious! The bartender came to our table and gracefully sat down next to me and that's when I knew my friend chose the right place! It also felt like we had the place to ourselves which was good for me because I was so nervous to hang in Brunswick again. I think the bartenders name was Callie and Stephanie was there as well! Thank you for a great night!”

“i hadnt ordered from east of chicago im a long time, but i had seen a coupon for foldovers and my stomach had made its mind up. i called and ordered my grub, and since they were located in brunswick.on 303, i thought they were really close. i was wrong on that part. they were all the way down by 303 and marks. i made the drive to get my lunch, and it was worth it. loved the foldovers. i nice lil crunch in the crust, i didnt have to ask for the marinara dippin sauce, it came with it already. they were delicious. i didnt make it home before i had a good chunk.of 1 eaten already. staff was friendly and food was ready when.i got there. definately be back. but always hoping for a location closer to brunswick proper.”

“My daughter and I went in to get a cake from the freezer for my boy’s 10th birthday. They had a great selection, however I had a hard time picking the right one. The girl at the front counter came over to offer help, and explained how the freezer selection was set up. Right after, I found a basketball cake- which was my son’s birthday theme! It literally made my whole day. The sweet girl wrote on his cake, and sent me home to make a birthday extra special. Thank you for your help and kindness!!”
