“POV: you take a Monday day trip down to Yellow Springs from Columbus with your dog for some hiking and exploring. After turning up to several dog friendly restaurants only to find them closed (don't rely on google for accurate info here) and being turned away by several others that aren't dog friendly, you and your dog finally get a spot on the Calypso patio. THEN, you order the jerk chicken wings appetizer. Beautifully seasoned and crispy- the perfect protein punch you needed after a long hike. No, your dog does not indulge in the wings, but the server brings him a nice welcome little treat. You proceed on with your order: Mojo pork. Ridiculously tender, with vibrant flavors and colors popping throughout the dish. You throw some island slaw on the side for funsies and some crunch. You pass on dessert because you want another excuse to make it back to Calypso ASAP. Truly a gem of a place. I cannot wait to come back here- will make another trip to Yellow Springs soon just for this place alone. 12/10- don't sleep on this place.“

“I've been coming here for years and they never disappoint. Craft goes into everything they do. Subs, wings, pizza is amazing. I love the traditional old world flavors. They are always friendly and smile even when they are super busy. Space is a bit small but it's nice for the atmosphere.“

“I say this with no hyperbole in my heart. This is the best meal I have ever eaten. I asked for the Vicks (???) burger where they freestyle it with the instructions "no pork and im hungry". I am a 6'6 350 lb man. They delivered. A mountain of a "sandwich" that was so large that the plate could not contain it all. There was no compromise on taste either. All components of the meal were in unison and pleasant, even foods that i am not so fond of were cooked to perfection. They even threw in 2 bonus tacos which have a complex flavor and are filled to the brim with meat and sauce. I cannot recommend this place highly enough! Simply stellar.“

“Devil Wind made for an interesting end to my evening. I got a flight of their beers and I was happy with what I tried. The Smalltown Midwest IPA and the Dankel were excellent. The staff was friendly, and there seemed to be a nice group of regulars. I was able to make some nice conversation with some of the regulars about the area, so I was happy with my experience. Devil Wind Brewing is definitely worth a stop.“

“I’ve eaten here multiple times and I would absolutely suggest giving it a try! The servers are nice, with good customer service. The wait time for anything I’ve ordered has been not long at all and always comes out hot and tasting freshly made to order. The price point for amount of food offered at the price they have is absolutely reasonable. The atmosphere is clean and well kept. It’s definitely a welcome go-to place for myself and my family. :-)“

“Had the Margherita pizza, individual size, which I like and most places don't have the individual size. It was the right temperature so you could eat it when it arrived at the table. I think they were short handed on waitresses, but was served in a timely manner.Parking: Depending how busy it was and the time of day could determine the availability of certain spots close to a door.“

“I grew up in El Paso Texas… this place is the real deal. Fresh food made to order. It was all delicious. Actually more than a taco shop as they have other things on their menu. Put a low rating for atmosphere because it’s really just a store front. However the food more than made up for it.“

“We were in town to hit up the new comedy club and decided to stop here for dinner. Fun fact, it is the oldest Tavern in Ohio, so that made the atmosphere feel really olde time and inviting). We were sat inside in the back corner and my husband and I couldn't sit across from each other without our legs touching, but we made the most of it! “Aahar is one of the nicest, most sincere people you will meet in Yellow Springs. He's an absolute joy to talk with while deciding on which delicous meal to order. If you ever find yourself out and about YS and need a lovely meal, go see Aahar. Highly, highly recommend the Saag Paneer, it is creamy and the chunks of paneer are big and plentiful. I used to be a big garlic naan person but I tried the onion and I don't think I'll ever go back, PACKED with flavor. Thank you for a great meal, and even better conversation Aahar!!!“

“We've been coming to Yellow Springs for quite a few years, and always thought about checking out Peach's Grill. Honestly, the mixed reviews kept us going elsewhere for our meals. Decided to just go for it this past Friday night...so glad we did. The service, food, and atmosphere were very appealing. Believe all of the great reviews. I've only eaten here twice since it has been in Xenia. I can't afford to come back. Dining room very hectic. Spill on floor was ignored except for a caution sign.“
