“I absolutely love the Pleasant Valley Shake Shoppe. Their slaw dogs are my favorite. They have the best hot dog sauce and slaw! I love their blueberry sundae as well. The milkshakes are great as well. You’ll have a wait for the food but that’s because they make it fresh and trust me it’s worth the wait. Definitely check them out if you haven’t!Parking: If they are busy it can be somewhat difficult for parking“
“Today was my first time to eat here. The people are amazing and the food was very delicious. The inside is very comfortable felt at home. So Many varieties I definitely recommend it. The price is very affordable.I definitely will be back ??Kid-friendliness: I really enjoyed the owners, very welcoming, our waitress was very friendly. Will be back“
“Consistent quality and good service. One of the only places in town where I don't worry about checking the bag before I leave. I've never had anything but good experiences and hope Cane's stays in Chillicothe for decades to come.“
“Im a long haul trucker , i dropped off and i asked whats a good place to grab a beer - he said the wobbly ghost! I think Its a nice place, good music, the locals are friendly -i met a few ppl had a cpl of beers and ill stop back in next overnight ive got !“
“Food was decent, served as ordered. Place is small, not busy at the time, several loud bar patrons were a little annoying, even for a bar setting. Wait staff was efficient and friendly, just right. $3 PBR drafts brought back good memories. Would return when in the neighborhood.“
“Well Today the food and our sever was Amazing !! Bridge Street Bob Evans has let its self go so we stopped going. But today it was great ? They CAN do a great job when they apply themselves ?Kid-friendliness: Granddaughter ate ALL her food for once !! Again the server was especially good at her job (wish I'd paid attention to her name) so Granddaughter got Just what she wanted !! Thank you :)“
“I got the turkey club sub and was delicious. the service was polite and courteous. My grandma got the Reuben on a pretzel and it was delicious, and I'm not one for sauerkraut. I would definitely recommend for anyone visiting or any locals.“
“This captain D's is an exception among fast-food joints; I actually prefer dining in as opposed to ordering at the drive-thru. Fried fish doesn't travel well, and the dining experience here is consistently enjoyable, even when flying solo. It's almost a guarantee that I'll strike up a friendly conversation with an elderly diner - there's a comforting, welcoming vibe that makes patrons of all ages feel at home. The staff is friendly, and the dining area is well-maintained.The stars of any meal here are the hush puppies. They're some of the best I've ever had - crispy outside, soft and light inside, with delightful bits of onions. While I'm not a huge fan of their coleslaw (Long John Silver's takes the cake for me), that's just a personal preference. The fish is consistently delicious. You may have to wait several minutes for your order to be ready - but it is definitely worth the wait for hot, fresh food.Watch your mailbox for coupons that can save you some money on many of the meals here. They also have a newly refreshed mobile app and some new value meals that really are values.“
“Got there around 130pm Friday, and it was fairly busy. We didn't wait long at all to pay for our food so that's a big plus. Finding a seat didn't take too long either.Food was good. I've never seen or heard the servers back there speak to a customer. The hostess that was out on the floor was great, made plenty of rounds checking on us and the other customers.“
“Restaurant was busy, but that didn't stop them from good food and service. Our waiter was attentive and so polite. Myself and my friend had a very pleasant dinner. I had the Crispy Fried Flounder dinner it was excellent. And love those cheesy biscuits.“
“We entered Malley's In The Alley to hip hop playing, walked to the back where we entered a hallway, which turned out to be a wormhole to another bar where folk/bluegrass was being played by a live band. This I presume was Crosskeys Tavern? We played pinball on their Iron Man machine (which sets on what was once the stage at The Blue Monk in the 90s) for a series of games & enjoyed some drinks. People were friendly (in both bars). We exited through the front door afterwards. It was generally a real swell time.“
“I read the 1 star reviews and most are from years ago. Walking distance to ev charger, this bar offers decent bar food and drinks. Watching the games here in Chillicothe. Has keno and a huge conference room in the back. Haylie was a great server, thanks for the recommendations on the menu!“
“I ordered takeout. 15 piece boblneless and 6 piece boneless. Disappointed in the size of the wings. 6 piece appeared more than half of 15. Talked to the manager and they said they do quantity and use various sizes. She did correct the issue by giving me a few additional wings. Sauces were great as always. Tried the new honey garlic and loved it.“
“Accessibility in this location is good but can improve by a couple of factors. Two ramps lead up to the main entrance (only entrance), allowing for those who utilize wheelchairs to get to the entrance, however, they are very steep ramps, which can be problematic. When getting on the ramp, however, there is a sidewalk you have to step on to access the ramp, which defeats the purpose. When you get to the entrance doors, there is no automatic button to open the doors, which can be changed. Not only is there one set of doors but there are two sets of doors you have to go through to get into the restaurant. When you walk through the first set of doors, there is a very small room with no seating to allow customers to wait if the line is long, but it is very small, so if someone was utilizing a wheelchair, they would take up the majority of the room, which can make customers feel like a burden! Not to mention, if there is someone who can only stand for a limited amount of time, they would have to sit on the one bench that is provided outside, which can be inconvenient, especially if the weather is cold or bad. When you get through the second set of doors (also not automatic), the check-in area is immediately to your left, which then forms a long line in front of the door, which is also inconvenient. I will say, they have a long bench that runs against the wall to allow customers to sit and wait, but due to the size of the restaurant, a long line still forms in front of the door and the bench fills up extremely fast. Once your family gets called to be seated, you have to go through a small entrance to get to the dining area, which is big enough to allow wheelchairs, walkers, and scooters through, but leaves no extraneous room. One last detail that can be highlighted is the extremely dark and low lighting which can be an issue for someone who has visual impairments.“
“Service is always quick (for a steakhouse). The food is always hot, savory, and seasoned to perfection. In over a dozen times at this restaurant, I have never once had a complaint. The Texan atmosphere throws it over the top!Kid-friendliness: Great for kids! Has a great menu and is family friendly.“
“Wife and I found this place as we were driving around Chillicothe. Stopped in for lunch and found that the food was excellent with a price that beat any fast-food chain restaurant. Service was just a little slow but with the crowd that was there it was perfectly understandable. Be sure to read about history of the restaurant at the bottom of menu. Really a neat place.“
“I have ordered curbside carryout several times and the food is always piping hot and ready when they say it will be! I also dine in on occasion with the whole family they are very attenitive fast and very friendly. One of my local favs to eat.“
“The old standard blue collar bar in town. Cheap drinks and good food without a deep fryer. Good juke box as everything connected via internet. Dad would come here after softball games. My Grandma would cook there and is said to have started the cold weather Potato soup on Fridays, although the recipe now is slightly different but really good.“
