“Had to listen to One of the waitresses loudly complaining and cursing about things. She carried on for the first 10 minutes or more that we were there. Then after people were seated she was carrying on and cussing at the hostess stand. It was a shame because we really love to eat here. Put a little damper on our mood but the food is always great.“
“Met a coworker for lunch today at the Madeira Inn. Fun lunch tavern with a neighborhood regular vibe. Not a glam location, just a fun spot with good food and relaxing atmosphere. Service was great and on-street parking ample. Prices were low for what you get. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries and both portions were large - I could not have eaten a double! The quality and flavor were super. I'll be back again!“
“When you hear the term "Food Truck" you may conjure up images of generic dishes hastily put together in order to serve the most customers in the least amount of time. However, this could not be further from reality with this business. By the grace of God, we got the opportunity to visit this establishment on a Cincy Food Tour (The OTR Signature Tour). Another review for another today because THIS review is all about the amazing, flavorful, and authentically German cuisine offered up by this establishment. The owner/chef hails from the German town after which his business is named and we got the opportunity for him to sit down with his wife and business partner along with our group and hear a little bit of the history and inspiration behind each one of his German dishes. You could tell by the way he talks about his dishes along with how they tasted, that he definitely has a passion for serving up authentic, from-scratch meals. Included with the tour was a platter fit for a King (or Queen). It had about 8 or so samples of some of the items he serves. Every single thing we tried was amazing and I can't wait to go back to Queen City Radio to get me hands on some schnitzel or currywurst. And as for that mushroom gravy....absolutely wunderbär! What a perfect establishment to try if your looking for German cuisine in a city with so much German heritage. Give this place a visit you won't be disappointed!“
“The food was all delicious - including our schnitzel sandwich + side of kasespatzel, pretzel + beer cheese, and Hawaiian Flammkuchen. Our 6 month old sends compliments to the owner and chef for being so helpful for her to have some plain cooked carrots! Service was incredible and friendly and we definitely will need to return!“
“For a place that is clearly listed as a bar it has incredible food. It's a cool neighborhood bar that seems to have plenty of locals I went there with a few friends to try the food and I must say the Pork Schnitzel Sandwich and the Giant Pretzel with Beer Cheese were incredible. If you are looking for a fun hangout with a cool outdoor area and good food it's worth a visit. One note is the place is small so it can get pretty cramped in the small indoor space they have.“
“Excellent German food and beer, brewed in house with the authentic German recipes. The atmosphere is straight out of Munich, down to the shared table space and huge outdoor biergarten. Whole the German food is excellent, the cheeseburger for kids is made of steak quality beef, it's amazing! Komm bitte!Kid-friendliness: Reasonably kid friendly, has a good kids menu, the cheeseburger is made from the best beef I've had in a restaurant, and the pretzels are always a hit“
“What a charming place! The food here is absolutely delicious. I particularly enjoy the sausages and mashed potatoes; they blend together in perfect harmony. I hope more people discover this hidden gem for German cuisine ?????Kid-friendliness: So lovely that the waiter gave our kid an ice cream ?“
