Very impressed by my dinner here. Hostess Madeline was very welcoming and also helpful during our food service. Our server was on top of everything and there were seven of us. Great happy hour. Got the pick two Caesar salad and was happy they have anchovies as an option. The French onion soup is good but my complaint with all restaurants is using croutons instead of a baguette in the soup. Regardless the soup was yummy.
We had a solid meal here that surpassed our expectations! We sat in the bar area next to the patio. We saw older folks as well as a family with kids in the restaurant. The cranberry pecan salad was a great way to start with the perfect ratio of chicken, cranberries, dressing, and goat cheese (love they didn't skimp on the cheese). This is one of our continual go-to restaurants where we know we will have good food and a pleasant atmosphere. I had to write this review because I thought the special last night - salmon on risotto with squash and arugula- was outstanding!! Great entree!
