“Fantastic experience all around. The beer slingers behind the bar take good care of you. The beers are solid and the food is decent as well. The location is really trendy and the space has a great modern vibe! Definitely another great Cleveland brewery that is doing all the right things. Lots of nods to the movie Major League here, as well. Jobu is on the shelf and quite a few beers are taken from the movie.“
“Shannon was PHENOMENAL. She absolutely brightened our day, was thoughtful, and gave us the BEST recommendations for our 3 days in Cleveland. Shannon single-handedly improved our stay and made us feel at home in Cleveland! We will be back! Thanks, Shannon!“
“An amazing Brewery with an Awesome Staff. A unique and special place in every way. If you enjoy craft beer, are a home brewer, or appreciate Cleveland History (or all of the above), this place is a Must See. Absolutely one of the coolest places in Cleveland Hands-down.“
“Terra is the best thing to happen to Terrestrial Brewing Co! Located inside the brewery, Terra brings in a more comfortable and cool atmosphere with a simple menu, good cocktails and great food at a reasonable price. Of course their craft beer is available as well. The Pimento cheese dip is a must try, and the chicken sandwich is done right. Dog friendly patio and also in the brewery side. Check the website to see their daily specials as well!“
“Had lunch here with some friends and really enjoyed the cheddar soup. The pretzel wasn't great as I was hoping it would be softer and a bit more flavorful. The pierogies were also a bit different than I expected as they were a bit thicker noodle wise than I'm used to. The flavor inside was decent though. Also tried one of these beers and it was quite delicious.“
“Love this pet friendly brewery. The food hits the spot, amazing American comfort food. The service is 10/10! Great vibes, chill atmosphere. Do yourself a favor and order the mac and cheese!!! Can't go wrong with the flights. Great beer, great food, everything you could ask for!“
“Went to Brick and Barrel on St. Patty’s day and it looked like a super cozy spot to drink some brews. We got their flight and sampled the different brews. They have a pizza place (different restaurant) next door that offers some delicious Italian pizza as well as other Italian food. They also had some sandwiches for St. Patty’s day! They serve some bar snacks inside and everyone is super warm and welcoming.“
“Great selection of craft-brewed beers, meads, sour beers, served by knowledgeable bartenders. Delicious small selection of food in the pop up "shack" in the back...mellow unpretentious atmosphere/large tables/no TVs. If this is your scene, highly recommend!Parking: Free parking at night in the lot at Washington and Lee“
“If you ever have the chance to marry your best friend, celebrate it at the Goldhorn. From the beginning of the planning stages to the midnight send-off, this brewery had us thrilled with their welcome communication, huge private room, delicious dinner buffet, incredible wait staff, and above all, the tasty beer. Chris answered every question I had about planning the evening for our 120 guests. The kitchen was prompt with hot buffet items. There was plenty of space to move around in the venue with our DJ and dance floor. The kids had room to bounce off the walls (along with some of my cousins). Above all the service of the wait staff was undisputedly accommodating.I hope I never get married here again; no party will ever be as sweet.“
“Best brewery in Cleveland!A great variety on tap, and everything we tried was very good. The menu had enough options, but wasn’t bloated, and the food was all expertly made. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere was charming. Will be back soon!“
“One of my favorite breweries in downtown Cleveland. Great beers, delicious pizzas and nice chill atmosphere with open air environment when it is nice. Large tables inside and out with open seating and garage doors that are open on nice days. They have a pizza oven making a large variety of great pizzas and some other snack food. Service is friendly and quick. Always has a good mix of beers. Will be back many times!“
“I was looking for a venue for an upcoming work event for around 25-30 people, and decided to check out Midnight Owl Brewing over the weekend to see if it could meet our needs. We stopped in on Saturday around 12:30pm and it was pretty dead, but as we sat there, more and more people started to fill in. The space was nice and clean, and had minimal but fun decor that tied into the owl theme of the business. Menus are offered through a QR code, so it's not the place for those without a bit of technical understanding. We ordered the "big 'ol pretzel" and as soon as it came out of the kitchen doors blew instantly understood why it has that name! It's certainly an appetizer to share with others. We also got wings, fries, and sandwiches and all were tasty. I'm looking forward to going back this week with a larger group and trying the beer selection.“
“This is a brewery that I wish I lived closer to. It has all the things I love - a big, quiet outdoor area with large trees, plenty of seating, and some fun Halloween decor; a historic building with multiple rooms for different size groups with decor that is fun, engaging and historical; and great beer too! I especially loved the French Toast Phantom that I ordered this week. Service is friendly and helpful here. It's an easy walk from W 25th in Ohio City, so if you're exploring that strip, check this place out too.“
“Being the crown jewel of 185th street, not only is the beer better than the stuff your hipster neighbor brews in his basement, its better than the stuff you see on the shelves at your favorite beverage store. Worth the drive from anywhere in the city, possibly the universe.“
“What a location!! Right on the water, we were sat in the enclosed patio area and got to watch the seagulls feast with us.We started with the beer and shot and I had a sweater weather, I had them change out the vodka for tequila. It was tasty! We got the crispy broccoli and cauliflower and boy was that a treat! The veggies were super crispy and the drizzles on there are full of flavor in such a memorable way… yum!For brunch I had the fried green tomato sandwich with pork belly. Holy cow! This was a mind blowing meal.My brother got the burger. He spoke very highly of his plate as well. This is a new favorite in downtown Cleveland. In a couple months I have tickets for a concert at Nautica (Jacob’s pavilion whatever we call it these days) and this restaurant looks right out on the river at the value. I’m gonna pregame here for sure! Thank you guys for a wonderful experience!Vegetarian options: Many options were on the menu for brunch at least.Parking: More parking than usual for an establishment in the Flats“
“This was our second time here as we were here the year before but for some reason I did not draft a review. We made reservations which was definitely helpful because if there's a ball game nearby, it's going to be busy! We were seated at one of the tables where you can either get service from wait staff or order through their website. It actually worked out pretty well. We were taking care of just fine even though we did order through the app. We had a good mixture of food and it was thoroughly enjoyable! The beer menu is probably larger than the food menu but that's not really my drink of choice. The hot dogs on a stick we're really good with the dipping sauces as well as the kimchini! Octopus was also stellar as well as the flank steak. Great to share with others! I'll be honest was just very busy but a very large place with tall ceilings and a cool atmosphere. Restrooms were pretty cool as well.“
“We stopped here after visiting the west side market. I'm surprised that this spot doesn't have better ratings - we really enjoyed this restaurant. For a Saturday it wasn't too busy and we did not have to wait for seats. We ordered the flight of beers, smash burger, and the pretzel. I highly recommend the smash burger it was fantastic. The pretzel with cheese dip was great, and extremely fresh. Lastly the espresso martini was one of the best I have tried. Our server was friendly and helpful. There's outdoor seating, and this spot is definitely dog friendly.“
“A solid spot, unassuming from the exterior. It's definitely a family owned joint and the hospitality was great from the get go. They had an unexpectedly busy day prior to us arriving so a lot of beers and appetizers were sold out even for our 7 pm dinner time. We started with potato pancakes which I am always hypercritical of since my grandma makes the best Polish potato pancakes. I was actually pretty impressed! They managed to maintain flavor and crunch, they were just a tad thick for my liking. My partner and I shared the pork schnitzel and the paprikash dish. Pork schnitzel with the cabbage was very solid. However, I personally wouldn't get the chicken paprikash again--too watery of consistency compared to what I'm used to. Our friend got the burger, which has a unique but flavorful patty. Our server was wonderful, super easy to chat with and really friendly and fun. I would definitely come back here with some friends or family. Also! There's a great little German store attached with chocolate, pickled vegetables, beers and wines, jams, and more!“
“I'll keep this one short and sweet. I ordered lunch through DoorDash and it took longer than expected. My dasher said it was because my pizza got stuck in the oven. But when it arrived it was so good! The Bees Knees has a hint of sweetness from the honey and a kick from the crushed peppers. I'm not good with heat, but I was able to eat the entire pizza without water so it's not very hot. I had one tickle that made me cough, but that was all. The capicola was crispy and didn't taste spicy at all.I also ordered the saucy bread and they were OK, but nothing special. It didn't really have the seasoning that was advertised and it was slightly dry. I wouldn't order it again. This is definitely a good pizza place. If I'm lucky enough to find myself dining in while I'm in town, I'll order a larger pizza next time so that I have leftovers.“
“Fun casual place in University Square district that we found while visiting the galleries at the Cleveland Institute of Art. Parking is a bit challenging during busy times. Nice mix of craft brews. Menu is typical pub fare but the food is good. Not reheated frozen stuff.“
“This is in the Ohio City neighborhood. It was packed and loud when we got there but they found us a table. We split a pretzel which was hot, buttery and delicious with a cheese sauce. I had an Ohio City Cream Soda which my companion thought was too sweet but I enjoyed it -- coconut spiced rum, pineapple, cola. We ordered burgers. They were thin patties, nicely griddled, juicy and with a good flavor. The top of my bun was cold, which was weird, but otherwise very tasty. My fries were skin-on and crispy. It was loud but our server was quick and attentive. We really enjoyed our burgers. There was a samurai (??) lamp in the back of the restaurant which was unexpected as it didn't fit the vibe.“
“The ambiance is very cute here. We dined in 12/28/23 for a memorial. In spite of the circumstances the staff were amazing. I wanted to highlight Cathy! Cathy greeted us promptly and made sure we knew the offerings. The offerings are amazing and very delicious. I can't wait to come back to taste more beer and try the food.“
