“Everyone here is so cool. Whenever I don't feel like going to funhouse (because we've been there a million times that month) and want another laid-back bar, Social Room is the go-to. The bartender knows my drink whenever I come in and she's so sweet and bubbly! The wait time is nonexistent, the patio is real cute, and there are a billion restaurants over here if you want food before or after drinks. Plenty of parking too, very stressfree experience overall.“
“It’s a cozy sports bar in a lively area of town. The food is great, and at a decent price. Th staff are pleasant and inviting, plus you’ll often find the owner himself working alongside the staff. It may not be the flashiest, but I can’t think of many places as welcoming as this!“
“In the dimly lit heart of Cleveland Heights, there exists a sanctuary for the night's most zealous seekers, The Tavern Company. This isn't your garden-variety watering hole; it's a haven where the spirits flow as freely as the conversations, and the air vibrates with the potential for madness. Tuesday nights transform this joint into a coliseum of intellect, where trivia becomes the gladiatorial sport of choice. Teams huddle, whispering strategies over pints, their eyes alight with competitive fire. Here, amidst the clink of glasses and the triumphant shouts of victors, lies the essence of what it means to truly engage with the pulse of the city. The Tavern Company doesn't just serve drinks; it brews a potent mixture of camaraderie, challenge, and sheer, unadulterated joy.“
“I want to personally thank Danielle for working through a concern I had after coming in late night. I expressed how I was feeling and my concern was met with genuine humanity and professionalism. Drink was amazing too. I liked the look of the place as well!“
“An amazing Brewery with an Awesome Staff. A unique and special place in every way. If you enjoy craft beer, are a home brewer, or appreciate Cleveland History (or all of the above), this place is a Must See. Absolutely one of the coolest places in Cleveland Hands-down.“
“One of the better restaurants in Tremont. Typically crowded, so make a reservation if you want a table at a certain time. Some of the staff can be a bit crabby, but our waiter was awesome.Fantastic drink selections, from cocktails and beer to liquor. You can't go wrong with any choice. We got the ethnic platters. Perfect amount of food and it was all delicious. Growing up eating pierogi and stuffed cabbage, I wasn't disappointed with the plate. I left full and satisfied.Don't miss this place if you're in the Tremont area.Parking: Street parking all around the park.Kid-friendliness: Kids are allowed. Might be a bit cramped, but they can join. Some options for kids as well for food.“
“The Rowley Inn is a genuine dive with panache. The Rowley Inn has been long standing next to a Christmas Story House and Museum, so it has its fair share of foot traffic for being tucked away as it is. The food is epically phenomenal, with dishes native to cleveland that can only be found here due to other closers since 2020. Don't forget to pair it with a locally brewed cold draught.Parking: Parking is along the street as it's tucked away in a neighborhood.Wheelchair accessibility: There is no wheel chair accessibility“
“We were walking down W 25th and saw Old Angle Tavern from the windows facing the street. It looked like a relaxed place that had some people in it, but wasn't overlying crowded so we strolled in. I'm glad we did!We sat at the bar and were greeted by a friendly bartender. After some light conversation, we ordered some food. I got some wings that really hit the spot! They have a great Buffalo sauce that's flavorful and spicy. And they're ranch dipping sauce is clearly made in house...I've never had ranch that was that buttery and tasty! My dining companion enjoyed his salad and soup as well. Great atmosphere and music too! I'll be back!“
“This was my first visit to Kessler's, and surely won't be my last! The menu is limited, but the food was incredible. I had the Patty Melt special and it was exceptional. The service was excellent and the prices were very reasonable. The two man band was a nice addition. Great Music!“
“Great dive bar feel. Cozy, dim, comfy. Went after a Charge Bball game, had a couple of mixed drinks, a pizza, and their Cajun chips. Everything was delicious, hot, and fresh. Played darts and pinball....bartender was very friendly. Great experience all around and affordable....we'll be back.“
“Randomly went here after a visit to the aquarium. There was a wedding reception in the bar area. It was hard to tell if we were allowed to be there or not. They had a small area blocked off for regular customers, however, it seemed like the employees were stretched pretty thin. That being said, the food was so good! Decent choice of beers on tap, great wings, even my son’s tenders and fries were fantastic. I will definitely be back the next time I’m in the area. Definitely recommend checking this place out.“
“We’ve been here several times, hidden little gem. Food is outstanding but tonight you outdid yourselves. We’ve been to several Clam Bakes but this one is hands down my new favorite!!! The BEST clam chowder I’ve ever tasted. We’ll be back next year and many times in between. Thank you!!“
“Great place for drinks, dinner and trivia! Had the chicken paprikash, polski nokaut, fish bites, buffalo cauliflower and grilled Caesar salad- all was amazing! Helpful, nice server with great recommendations. Excited to come here in the summer to check out the patio.“
“I could not recommend a better place for real people real good food real good times and the something about it that can't quite be in words where if you find yourself there Pat will make you feel like family. I had to get married there so I did.“
“I think my twin was the chef that discovered the steak and asparagus salad. I’m from Pennsylvania and didn’t even miss the French fries because the abundance of red onions, blue cheese and tomatoes mixed with the vinaigrette dressing made it even more enjoyable than a one of my favorite dinners; steak and asparagus. I didn’t have to pick around cucumbers and green peppers. Not just a salad, it was an outstanding dinner.“
“Drove up from Port Clinton, Ohio to see Ethan Timm play. Great experience as soon as we opened the door! Our waiter was impeccable! Knowledgeable, prompt, kind, courteous, & friendly. Building has lots of unique character! Bartender made everyone in the room feel at home! Worth the drive!!!!“
“This has been a Tremont staple for a long time. Overall good vibe although it can get crowded (as expected) on the weekends. Staff is funny and provide good service. A nice patio in the back. Drink prices are standard and they have a good selection overall.“
“Our first time and it was wonderful! We stopped with our kiddos for a late lunch after some Sunday skyzone fun. It was also during football playoffs and we had never been so we weren't sure what to expect! ALL the servers were so friendly, everyone worked as a team to deliver a fantastic experience and great food! When we left our server told our kids to have a great week at school. I just thought that was so sweet. I can safely recommend this place for family fun as well as a great spot to belly up and watch Sunday football! A healthy blend! We'll definitely be going back and highly recommend!“
“Enjoyed a quick dinner after the eclipse in downtown Cleveland while watching the MLB season home opener for the Guardians. Wings and sliders were awesome as was the cider and especially the white stout.Dietary restrictions: Staff was very good at identifying allergens allowing us to choose appropriate menu items - gluten, dairy, soy restrictions.“
“Courteous staff, good food, perfect location. One can view the lake from here. I had the apple and cranberry salad, fish and chips and the bread pudding. Everything delicious! Loved it. Will definitely come back.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and vegan“
“Still family owned, still carrying on the legend of Mitzi - many local articles were written about her over the years. A recent gentle makeover kept all the 110-year old features, it still feels like home. One of Cleveland's best bars, a literal time machine, so old school you are buzzed in at the front door just like Miss Mitzi did for decades. Nothing trendy here - which makes it perfect. Always an interesting night, with a mix of old timers, art school students, and devotees of authentic saloon vibes.“
“Pizza was good, mac bites are an avoid. Good atmosphere. I found this place at lunch and the server showed good interest in everyone in the establishment. It did get busy and she was all alone but she handled it all. Lots of locals stopped in for a mid day bite and drink.“
“I love this place. Truly. Mel is one of my favorite people in the world, and to have her as a bartender is even better. Lin is also another definite stand out.Great food, good drinks. It being a trucker bar can be kinda hit and miss with the people. I’ve had great conversations and times with people here, and sometimes it makes you wish these guys would just stay in the truck, and keep the clowning to 19.But hey! Such is life. Get the prime rib if you can! It sells fast!“
“Great neighborhood bar. Grew up in this area feel safe. Great place to meet old friends n make new. Love that the owners participate in fun activities n karaoke nights. Fun place to watch football n have special occasions at. Stop in and see for yourself.“
“We were there on a Friday night. The staff was friendly. The portions are large, the prices are lower and the quality was great. We especially liked the crispy onion rings and pizzas. Honorable mention for chicken nachos and anti pasta salad. When asked, they switched TV to the Guardians game.Parking: Park in the lot on the North side, across the street.“
“I don’t go out to bars much these days but decided to stick my head in on St. Paddy’s as I’ve driven by a bunch. Looks so low key and not at all obnoxious from the outside - no advertisements for various alcohol, just a good old Christmas Story lamp in the window. Inside, it’s a warm and friendly neighborhood pub that made me feel welcome. Full of Irish cheer on the big day, but I’m sure there is some of that year round. Prices for a pint were fair maybe even in the lower side. Some places regulars don’t really like new people coming in or are cool or suspicious towards them. Not here at all. I barely drink anymore but if I was going to have a goto neighborhood pub this would be it.“
“The Irish Burger is the best burger I have had in Cleveland. The coleslaw is perfect with this burger. The Steak Burger is also very delicious. The "fries" are soggy potato circles that were only ok.I went on a Sunday evening and the place was very packed. Personally, I would not return at that hour. The staff did their best but we faced long wait times, lots of noise, and people (and staff) bumping into us (and not saying excuse me!). Understandable given the number of people but not the best environment. I recognize some people like this bustling environment. Will absolutely return (on a weekday) for that delicious burger. the decor is beautiful.“
“My wife left me for another man, even though the bartender reminded me of Pedro, the “other man” yet I felt comforted by his service. He made me feel great about my loneliness. Food filled the void, drinks quieted the loud thoughts. Love that they have touch tunes!“
“Lovely old fashioned neighborhood bar. Friendly staff and tasty daily meal specials they actually make. Today l had pork snitzel with real mashed potatoes. I think they cater mostly to the lunch crowd, so call ahead if you are making a special trip for dinner, in case they run out. Great value.“
“Rob is a "Rockstar" they didn't have wait service when we visited Saturday afternoon. Got our meals and the food is friggin' fantastic!!! They got slammed with patrons after we got served. And Rob made sure everyone was served and made to feel welcome.“
“Service was great. Had an issue with a very drunk guy following me around and there was a thin blonde bartender that was attentive and picked up on it immediately which i appreciated as a woman! Made me feel safe which I dont think happens in bars much anymore.“
“Aint there with 4 of my girlfriends to day? I can't believe I forgot to take a picture. I had the wings which were garlic buttered which were delicious. And everybody seemed to be very happy with their food period the quesadilla was really good. My one friend had the others had burgers. Everybody was very satisfied.“
“WINGS ARE GREAT. Fish fry is good. That said, normally I would not spend my time reviewing “just another Parma sports bar”, but I have to give credit to some of the best bar tenders I’ve ever witnessed. Last visit, the 2 bar tenders handled a massive crowd better than a 10 person staff at smaller joints. Employees like this are impossible to find now-a-days, so I salute you for your talent and great personality! Nice dart board area. No patio. Come as you are, and have some fun!“
“I’ve been here a couple times so far. I mainly come for karaoke, which are on Sundays & Wednesday. The atmosphere is very friendly, it’s never too crowded. Everyone is very very nice! The prices are good, they do not serve food at the moment but I do hope they would start soon. If you ever need a secret hangout spot, this is the place to be.“
“I work close to the Bogside Pub and didn't bring my lunch and wanted a burger. I ordered the Holy Cow and tater tots. Online it was about $13 but when I got there I was told almost $20 I'm like what happened? I thought the total came with the burger and the response was it was an old menu. IM NOT SURE WHY PLACES HAVE WEBSITES AND DON'T UPDATE THEM ACCORDINGLY. She saw that I was a little upset about that and gave me $2 back, which is why they received 4 stars. The burger was good as FLuck!!!!!!! Man I will eat another burger there and be happy about it. I went in during lunch time and when I tell you it was a packed house! The people must have parked behind the building because there weren't any cars in the parking lot, which had me confused. An original pub/sports bar, with a juke box and TVs at every angle. Now there wasn't a lot of diversity in there...but I have a feeling the folks who run it don't care what you look like just that your money is green which is another reason why I'll return. But with friends LOLOL Everyone looked as if they were enjoying their food. Try it out But with friends...“
“Food is phenomenal..I just had STUFFE D SALMON MAC N CHEESE AN CABBAGE..It was delectable???????????? the flavors in the stuffed salmon(spinach, shrimp and cream cheese!)oh my lawd! Mac n cheese was good and the cabbage delightful..the whole dinner was just plan SEXY..Excellent job to the chef and staff. Its always nice to come here everyone is so pleasant and the drinks are great..keep up the fantastic job !!????????????#blackownedbizness????“
“Cool local bar/restaurant. I enjoyed the eclectic decor. I had the Simpleton burger with fries. The burger (angus) was just right- juicy and flavorful. I'm not sure what their special sauce is for the burger, but it is spectacular! The hand-cut fries were a bonus :) Special shout out to Kelsey, who was very attentive . Thanks, I will save this place as a favorite for the next time I come to Cleveland.“
“I never realized how awesome this place was until air stopped in and gave it another try. The new owner is awesome! She works her a$$ off to make sure everyone is taken care of! The food is really good, drinks are cold and quick, and the atmosphere is electric. I will definitely be making this place a more frequent stop. It's definitely worth the detour!!“
“I'm a Lyfer! Grew up in there. Memories............ Sportsmans' Lounge until the Bricks Fall. Oh yeah! Of course it's gone ALWAYS BE A FEW HATERZ RUNNING THEY MOUTH! The Sporty Mac should know. Been doing it for over THREE DECADES.......STRAIGHT......... RIGHT.“
“Held our Black Girl Social Club Cleveland Chapter Fatigue Brunch here and there were no complaints! From the amazing customer service of the events specialist, to the amazing servers, we were very pleased! The food was absolutely amazing! Our favorites included the Short Rib dish, the chicken Caesar salad, chicken and biscuit and of course the unlimited mimosas! ?“
“One of the chillest dive bars in town. Food is rather good served late and they host a fun karaoke night twice a week. Guy bartenders never seem to be the friendliest but Bartender Dustin is exceptional with his service and attentiveness. Try one of his Long Islands!“
“A rare gem of a bistro, great price, food, and real service. Let's keep this place going for a long time. Recommend t"The Breakfast Burger, medium rare"Parking: A sign of a great bistro is how packed the parking and bar are, so this will not disappoint.“
“First time visiting. Nice atmosphere, friendly service. Though they didn't have the alcohol or chaser I wanted, I still enjoyed myself. Will return if invited againParking: The tavern is located in the Biddulph Plaza do there's definitely plenty of parking space.“
“Edison's Pub delivered for a quick drink while in the Tremont area. They have a lot of taps and canned options - I went with a low ABV radler which was refreshing and not too sweet, and Nate got an IPA. The walls display tributes to Thomas Edison with light bulbs and other inventions. There are pool tables and darts and they have open mic nights. The bathroom was a bit of a scary dive bar basement situation but it was fairly clean. It looks like they used to have a pizza counter next door, but it didn't seem open when we were there. Good little neighborhood dive. I don't think I'd necessarily make a special trip to this spot, but it was fun to stop in while in the area.“
“Came to Fredrick’s Wine and Dine on a last minute decision last night. I hadn’t been there in maybe 5 or 6 years but recalled having pleasant experiences previously and was hoping things hadn’t changed food wise since the Pandemic. I will remember this dinner as one of the top 5 I have had in the last few years. First our waitress Dessi was on point! She was pleasant and sweet, knew the menu for recommendations and checked in with us frequently. I will add that we were the only diners and the other patrons were visiting the bar, but I had to acknowledge her because the customer service is so lacking in Southeast Cleveland at all times so I had zero expectations to be treated well. The food was delicious! I was dining with a picky bunch and everyone commented how good it was and great portions. I had grilled grouper collards and Mac and cheese with pecan sweet potato pie. Everything was excellent, seasoned well and not greasy. My sister had a fried grouper sandwich with the apple betty dessert and Mom had a catfish dinner with collards and candied yams. I tasted the catfish which was perfection and generously sized. Some of the best I have ever tasted. Now I know why the parking lot is usually packed! I will be back for sure.“
“I discovered Rudy's Pub to be a charming establishment with its own unique character, and I can't wait to visit again. The food my son and I ordered was excellent, and the service was top-notch. I especially enjoyed the karaoke session , who made me feel right at home. If you're seeking a night out filled with fun and surrounded by good-hearted people, Rudy's Pub is the place to be! I'll definitely be returning.“
