“I was looking for a place to celebrate some good news, and I found the perfect "spot." I found a great selection of beer , wine, and even some hard to find treats here. They have a nice selection from local breweries to some from all over the state. This place is perfect for staying in or taking something to go. The staff was knowledgeable, polite, and professional. Thanks for making my day. I'll be back.“

“My friend picked Taste for her birthday dinner. It's a small, cute spot that had live piano music playing, which I really enjoyed. Like most places, they were understaffed, so everyone was running around like crazy. The wine list was great. My friend asked for a mocktail. They made a drink that was basically fancy orange juice, but it was nice of them to try to do something for her! It's definitely one of those cozy places where you are basically on top of your table neighbors, and you can either hear their conversations or you can't hear anything because it's so loud in there. My crab stuffed salmon was amazing! I really enjoyed the mushroom risotto. The roasted zucchini it came with was also delicious. My friend enjoyed the lasagna. I am picky about my red sauces, so I wasn't a big fan personally. But that's just me! Despite the busy night and the lack of a host, the service never really lacked, and it was an overall good experience. My friend said she probably wouldn't go back because the menu was small and she didn't like how loud, but overall, it's worth the visit, in my opinion.“

“A hidden gem! I have lived in the area for about 6 years and have just now sat down for a meal at Mama Catena Vino é Cucina! What a shame that is because this family owned restaurant is absolutely amazing in every way. The interior is very nice and cozy. The staff are very accommodating and pleasant, providing you with a great experience from beginning to end! We got lucky and came in on a Thursday where they host a man who plays an accordion. I truthfully felt like I was in Italy! This restaurant is definitely a go-to! Could not recommend enough if you want a nice Italian dinner! Go support the locals!“

“A special thank you to our server, Mr. S., at the Beachwood Legacy Village Capital Grille on April 15, 2023. He provided exceptional service throughout our dining experience. Mr. S. was very knowledgeable about the menu and offered honest recommendations that catered to our group's preferences. Despite being one of the longest-staying groups, we were also the liveliest. Mr. S. even joined in the celebration by singing a slightly off-key rendition of "Happy Birthday" to a lovely young lady in our group. The highlight of the meal was the delectable garlic spinach. Every dish we ordered was delicious, including the chicken, rosetto, steak, African lobster, chicken tenders, and fries for the child in our group. The desserts, chocolate, and cheesecake were equally delightful, and the birthday candle added a special touch to the occasion. While our visit was certainly a special occasion, we believe it was well worth it. I heard from our group that the drinks were also excellent.Overall, we had a wonderful experience at the Beachwood Legacy Village Capital Grille, and we are grateful to Mr. S. for his exceptional service.“
“I cannot speak highly enough of this establishment. My partner and I stumbled upon this bar spontaneously while exploring Ohio City one spring day, and we have been captivated ever since. The concept of the bar is innovative, and their menu is consistently outstanding, featuring seasonal changes and custom cocktail recipes crafted by their own staff – a truly remarkable feature!! Additionally, the bar proudly showcases local Ohio brand liquors, beers, and IPAs, adding a distinctive touch to their offerings. The staff members are truly exceptional, embodying a delightful combination of professionalism and warmth. I must extend a special acknowledgment to Ethan, Noah, and, of course, the owner, Sam, who have made us feel like part of their extended family. With its inviting atmosphere, exceptional drinks, and friendly staff, this establishment exceeds expectations on every front. What more could one ask for?!“

“This is a gem of a restaurant on Murray Hill. Barely 10 tables inside, you need to make a reservation if you want one of them. We decided to go same-day but were fortunate to book 2 seats at the bar. Two of us split an app, pasta, and main, which was enough food to feel full but not stuffed. Prices were reasonable and portions were moderate. The gnocchi was savory and the grilled fish was tasty. We split a reasonable priced bottle of white wine. The place was bustling on a Saturday night without being overwhelmingly loud. We'll be back!“

The food was excellent! The service was excellent! The amisphere was so comfortable. The food taste like the way my grandmother used to make. “A group of 5 ex Metro residents go together to eat here last night. First time for all. In the old Theos which I have some great memories of. Ample parking in the back with an entrance there. Great shareable plates including dates and stuffed peppers(my favorite). Dinners were excellent including my scallops over risotto and cod, steak and sirloin. Going to come back when they have the ossobuco going. Desserts 'ok' but not outstanding - changes weekly though. Staff excellent. One was a sommelier and couple of us left with some wine. Will be back. It wasn't busy but they don't have that many tables even tho the restaurant is a good size. It's dominated by a very large square bar area in the middle of the restaurant that could accomodate about 20 people(guess).“

“They have a variety of really great 72% dark chocolate. For special occasions like Valentine's Day, they make chocolate covered strawberries and grapes. They usually make with milk chocolate but they have dark chocolate covered strawberries this time. Thank you Joel!! They are big, juicy and sweet strawberries covered with great dark chocolate beautifully. They are so much better than regular store bought chocolate strawberries. We also enjoy their chocolate and wine pairing!“
“Small restaurant with a limited, but tasty and reasonably priced menu with a spattering of unique offerings. Perfect for a quick bite & some wine. I hear their ribs are great, but we weren't hungry enough for that. AJ was very helpful recommending something light & quick (they were closing in 40 minutes) for dinner. He suggested an Italian wine which my husband said was fantastic. Food was made to order with attentive service. They have a large wine menu and an amazing selection of wines by the bottle in the adjoining room. We will come back on a Saturday for their rib special.“

“It’s always a fun time at The Fairmount! Food and drinks are delicious. I would recommend if you’re coming with a group to call ahead and make a reservation as the place is pretty much always packed in the evenings. We’ve done multiple times and they have both indoor and outdoor dining. The patio is very nice and dog friendly.“
“This was my first time dining here per my parent's recommendation. Overall, it was a good experience. The house Italian on the side salad was delicious! The oil for the bread had some kick but was very good and flavorful. I ordered the chicken parm (not featured in a photo) and thought it was quite tasty. I really liked the sauce which had a nice sweetness to it. Unfortunately, they were busy and possibly understaffed as it took about 15 minutes before we were asked to place a food order. The atmosphere is cute overall but a bit too plain. I was here on a Wednesday night where they run a generous special on their chicken parm.“

“One of our favorite wine spots in CLE. Nicely curated wine selection, flights are great for trying new wines, generous pours. The snack boards are well done and pair well. The Cheat Day Board is just plain fun. Staff, especially Victor, is happy to answer questions, recommend wines, and remembers what we like to drink. Space is cute. We love visiting on quiet days and sitting at the bar. Parking is easy and a lovely patio for sunny days. Also a favorite bottle shop of ours. Prices are very fair and we can always find something new to try.“

“What a location!! Right on the water, we were sat in the enclosed patio area and got to watch the seagulls feast with us.We started with the beer and shot and I had a sweater weather, I had them change out the vodka for tequila. It was tasty! We got the crispy broccoli and cauliflower and boy was that a treat! The veggies were super crispy and the drizzles on there are full of flavor in such a memorable way… yum!For brunch I had the fried green tomato sandwich with pork belly. Holy cow! This was a mind blowing meal.My brother got the burger. He spoke very highly of his plate as well. This is a new favorite in downtown Cleveland. In a couple months I have tickets for a concert at Nautica (Jacob’s pavilion whatever we call it these days) and this restaurant looks right out on the river at the value. I’m gonna pregame here for sure! Thank you guys for a wonderful experience!Vegetarian options: Many options were on the menu for brunch at least.Parking: More parking than usual for an establishment in the Flats“

“Went for lunch and was not disappointed! Sat at the bar and many professionals were dinning in. The waffle fries with braised beef, cheese, scallions and bacon were AMAZING! I can't stop thinking about this dish. Also ordered a Caesar salad.“

“I will preface I came here bc I heard they have the best tiramisu in little Italy...and I totally agree! We got seated at the bar bc we didn't have a reservation. The ambience was beautiful (darker in the front, but a beautiful more lit, more open space in the back which I'm not sure is only for events or for regular dining). The tiramisu was WONDERFUL and actually represented tiramisu, I didn't think it needed the chocolate syrup and the fruits just added freshness; overall I loved the taste and we devoured it in a few quick bites, really having to stop ourselves from getting another. They recently increased the price of their dessert menu so it's $12 instead of $10- the rest of their menu was surprisingly affordable. We are definitely coming back for a date night :)“

“My partner and I come here frequently to get coffee but can never get a table due to the various brunch events on the weekend. We love their coffee so we got tickets to one of these events and we’re really disappointed. For $35pp we got a small flight of mimosas (probably 1 regular size put together), 1 chocolate square, 1 oreo sized cookie, 1 crostini, and A QUARTER of a pastry. Not worth the money at all. The staff tried their best to accommodate for a diabetic child that we had with us but there are no substitutions on the brunch menu so we purchased additional food so they could eat with us. Good coffee and friendly staff but I would not get a ticket to a brunch event again. The Taylor Swift brunch is not really child friendly. Come for the coffee, not the event“

“We went to Great Lakes to do engagement photos done and realized they took all their patio furniture away and noticed a cute place across the street. We go in and see the cutest atmosphere and decorations and someone comes up to us and tells us to sit anywhere. When our photographer told them why we were they, they showed us this beautiful room and let us take photos in there and outside! They were so nice and accommodating, and the beer offering was awesome! We will be back to try some of their wine selection when we're downtown, and we will be definitely showing off their aesthetic and tagging them in our engagement photos! Highly recommend.“

“What a great experience for our first time here during the 2023 CIFF! Jen and Shannon are the dynamic duo of tag-team servers, and the other staff were extremely friendly as well.We did small plates of mushroom pierogi, Margherita flatbread and a special, potstickers. For drinks a delicious specialty cocktail and a house cab. Dessert was an insanely decadent pecan trifle (MORE than enough for two to share).Everything was excellent except the flatbread, which was more like an average cheese pizza than margherita. We will definitely be back!“

“This place is absolutely amazing! Sebastian the cute, friendly, amazing server from Argentina is absolutely perfect. He treated us like we were his only customers and he was incredible. I do hope that he becomes a bartender by the next time I go there. He is truly amazing and made this experience 10 out of 10! The carne asada is a must!!“

“The ambiance is like that of a dimly lit, fancy, but cozy date night. If you're looking to try their happy hour you need to get there right when they open because it fills up fast. We had a dinner reservation for five and service was excellent. They started us off with fresh bread and a tasty oil to dip into. Then we all ordered something different to test out. I got two sides - the veal tortellini in a parmesan cream sauce, and sautéed escarole with beans and sausage. Both were delicious and big portions. For dessert we also got a variety, and I would recommend the cheesecake. It was so light and a wonderful end to our evening. This place is pricey, so be prepared to spend your dough. But I thought it was worth it. Also the name is now Acqua Di Dea for some reason.“

“Very pleased with the food and service. Went for happy hour and did a mix of happy hour and regular priced food and drink. All were great. The prices weren't bad for either. Good, strong cocktails, decent beer menu, and a mix of food offerings. The frites are enough to feed a family of four and SO GOOD! The burger was also a big hit with my party. The staff was all very friendly and attentive in a perfect amount - no hovering but they were there when we needed them. The space itself is very inviting, bright and open, and the patio looked like a great place to relax. This is a hidden gem in the Detroit Shoreway neighborhood. We'll definitely be back!“

“My husband and I made dinner reservations for 7:30 on a Friday evening. The waiting area is a tad confusing; you're suppose to check in upstairs before they escort you down the stairs. So, wait until you're greeted upstairs before you head downstairs. The atmosphere is very chic. We were seated at the table across from the stairs. I noticed throughout our time there that many people came immediately downstairs just to go up the stairs again. My personal opinion is there should be a clear sign upon entry to wait upstairs before being escorted down. Service was slow in the beginning; it was most likely due to the fact that there were multiple parties seated before us at the same time. Nevertheless, I counted about 5-6 working servers, 2-3 bartenders, and 1 very active hostess so that shouldn't be an issue. Our server, Miguel, took about 8 minutes to greet us and take our beverage order. The wait time when we were seated set precedent of the wait for food and drinks the entire evening. Because of that realization, we ordered our drinks and appetizer immediately, then our entree before appetizer even came out. Our drinks consisted of Caipirinha, Resurrection, and Mango Jalapeño Margarita. The food were empanadas, carne asada, and mango salmon. It took ~18 minutes for our 2 drinks to come out. We noticed the table who arrived around 10 minutes after us received their drinks before we did. I don't know the complexity of their drink order but we should've received ours prior to them. Our appetizer came out shortly after. The food and drinks were robust, and we enjoyed them all. The empanadas were flavorful and came out piping hot. We could've ordered another plate of it. The sweet plantains with the carne asada was a sweet treat of a salty and savory dish. The salmon and mango was also a great combination. The mango is a cold topper so don't expect the salmon to come out hot. We spend about $140 with 1 appe, 2 entrees, and 3 drinks. It's a little expensive than our average date night but the portions were great :)“

“We had been looking forward to going here for a few weeks, and it did not disappoint. Our simple breadboard and green herb mix salad appetizers were great. Our main meal of sandwiches and salads were also very good, but the best part of the meal was the Red Velvet Cake, which was to DIE FOR.In short, we would definitely come back.“
