“Great selection of craft-brewed beers, meads, sour beers, served by knowledgeable bartenders. Delicious small selection of food in the pop up "shack" in the back...mellow unpretentious atmosphere/large tables/no TVs. If this is your scene, highly recommend!Parking: Free parking at night in the lot at Washington and Lee“
“Very roomy, cozy restaurant! But prices are way too expensive in my opinion. I came for there Taco tuesday special. All tacos are $3, and IPA margaritas for $5. I got there around 7pm and all the margaritas were gone. So I guess that means they were good lol. Tacos are nothing like the picture they advertised online. Tacos had tortilla chips on them. Kinda weird. lol. Never ever had tacos like these. I forgot to take a picture of them. There's no way I'd pay regular price which is $5.95 for 1 taco.. totally outrageous in my opinion. They want $9.95 for 1 asada taco regular price!!!!! Wow!!! Gotta be rich to eat here! I left, still hungry. But If you drink beer, this is a wonderful place!“
“I was at an ANFP conference in Cleveland- among many chefs and CDMS and RDs for the regional conference. A group of us decided to check out the Butcher and Brewer when we couldn’t get into another restaurant on East 4th and boy were we pleased it worked out that way because we had incredible service and delicious food and beverages!!!!! Raven was our server and she was absolutely amazing! She knew everything about the food and the brews and she was so much fun, we wished she could sit down and enjoy dinner with us! She made our experience memorable and made me feel proud to be a Clevelander knowing that there are fabulous people in the food industry in Cleveland! My out of town colleagues had an amazing time and can’t wait to come back to Cleveland to visit! One of my colleagues bumped into Raven on the street when she was leaving town and she went out of her way to say hi and stop and chat! What a gem! We wished she worked for us! With great customer service came an enjoyable experience and we absolutely LOVED the food!!!! Everything was delicious! I can’t wait to come back with my husband on a date night! Check out these corn dogs!!! So yummy!!! I even tried a coffee/vanilla infused beer which was also amazing!!! Check it out you won’t be disappointed and ask for Raven!“
“What a location!! Right on the water, we were sat in the enclosed patio area and got to watch the seagulls feast with us.We started with the beer and shot and I had a sweater weather, I had them change out the vodka for tequila. It was tasty! We got the crispy broccoli and cauliflower and boy was that a treat! The veggies were super crispy and the drizzles on there are full of flavor in such a memorable way… yum!For brunch I had the fried green tomato sandwich with pork belly. Holy cow! This was a mind blowing meal.My brother got the burger. He spoke very highly of his plate as well. This is a new favorite in downtown Cleveland. In a couple months I have tickets for a concert at Nautica (Jacob’s pavilion whatever we call it these days) and this restaurant looks right out on the river at the value. I’m gonna pregame here for sure! Thank you guys for a wonderful experience!Vegetarian options: Many options were on the menu for brunch at least.Parking: More parking than usual for an establishment in the Flats“
“I love coming back to my old favorites. Here I am in Concord C at Cleveland airport. Great lakes you can't get any more home beer than this. Today I'm trying a double IPA called Juicy Vivacious. Plus the turkey club. With the side of chips. The club had a nice spicy aïoli on it. That was really a nice surprise to get up just a little extra taste to the turkey and the bacon and fresh avocado laid on it and then sourdough bread was grilled perfection. I'll be back in a month hope I get Brian here again . Great service from Brian/server as I said at the bar. The ambience is beautiful. It's a nice Tuesday afternoon with snow falling around the airport and everybody is on laptops and having a nice afternoon at Cleveland Airport.“
“Good beer, nice patio, friendly staff. Ended up going here after having bad food and bad service at Great Lakes down the street. This was a much better experience. We were seated quickly, and were waited on right away. Pretty sure his name was Shane, or Sean, or similar (chill guy mustache and sunglasses), our server was on top of things and deserves a shout out. Most important takeaways; The pretzel was really good and they give you your own water pitcher at the table.“
“This is in the Ohio City neighborhood. It was packed and loud when we got there but they found us a table. We split a pretzel which was hot, buttery and delicious with a cheese sauce. I had an Ohio City Cream Soda which my companion thought was too sweet but I enjoyed it -- coconut spiced rum, pineapple, cola. We ordered burgers. They were thin patties, nicely griddled, juicy and with a good flavor. The top of my bun was cold, which was weird, but otherwise very tasty. My fries were skin-on and crispy. It was loud but our server was quick and attentive. We really enjoyed our burgers. There was a samurai (??) lamp in the back of the restaurant which was unexpected as it didn't fit the vibe.“
“I'll keep this one short and sweet. I ordered lunch through DoorDash and it took longer than expected. My dasher said it was because my pizza got stuck in the oven. But when it arrived it was so good! The Bees Knees has a hint of sweetness from the honey and a kick from the crushed peppers. I'm not good with heat, but I was able to eat the entire pizza without water so it's not very hot. I had one tickle that made me cough, but that was all. The capicola was crispy and didn't taste spicy at all.I also ordered the saucy bread and they were OK, but nothing special. It didn't really have the seasoning that was advertised and it was slightly dry. I wouldn't order it again. This is definitely a good pizza place. If I'm lucky enough to find myself dining in while I'm in town, I'll order a larger pizza next time so that I have leftovers.“
“Fun casual place in University Square district that we found while visiting the galleries at the Cleveland Institute of Art. Parking is a bit challenging during busy times. Nice mix of craft brews. Menu is typical pub fare but the food is good. Not reheated frozen stuff.“
“We stopped for dinner on our way out of Cleveland. Moranda was absolutely amazing and on her game! Great team work between the server, bartender and kitchen staff. Food is delicious! Burger spot on, fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside! A definite winner in my book!!!“
“This review is for brunch specifically - the bloody marys are not very good, they were strangely a light pink color and tasted very watered down. The snacks on top were great though, although the pierogi on top was super cold & a little soggy from resting on top of the drink. We split a brunch sampler board, which is definitely big enough for 2 people. The eggs came out lukewarm, which I assume is just due to the timing of plating them/being picked up. Everything on the board was quite tasty. We sat in the room off to the side of the main restaurant (beer garden room, I think?) - it was very warm in there, but April is a fickle month, so I get why it's hard to manage the temperature! It's a beautiful room though and I'm glad we got to sit there. Also want to shout out the fact that the bathrooms contain free period products which should be the standard everywhere ?“
