“My wife & I ate there for the first time, today. We both ordered the pork, rib, & brisket combo with a side of mac and cheese. Perfectly cooked meat, tender, moist, and full of classic smokey BBQ flavor. They had the best cornbread I’ve ever had from a restaurant. The potato salad was really good too.The staff were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is a little rough. I was having second thoughts before heading inside. But then we sat in the parking lot and read some other reviews. Glad we decided not to judge a book by its cover, so to speak. We’ll definitely dine there again.“
“The place was clean and neat. I'm not familiar with area but it appeared to be okay. The gentleman were courteous and professional. Now the food was great, I order the polishboy combo. The crunch on thr chicken was damn good along with sauce and fries. Really enjoyed the chicken, with and without sauce. The polishboy....the BEST! I traveled a ways to visit this place just off reviews and glad I did, cause I will return. I can't wait to try the other menu items.Vegetarian options: Collard greens(vegetarian)were very good but a bit too spicy for me.“

Walking in you immediately feel under dressed! The view Stunning with modern lighting, Beautiful bar and Kitchen right in view! The table settings are eye pleasing and Stylish! “Such a great BBQ joint! My husband and I were visiting Cleveland and stopped by here on our way out of town. I’m so glad we did. It was quick and friendly service while also having delicious food. The meat was tender and juicy - even without the sauce. The sauce was the right amount of sweet and savory and the baked beans had a delicious smokey taste. The potato salad was creamy without being overly mashed and still had chunks of soft potato, full of flavor. All in all - everything was just right! Wish we lived in town to make it a regular stop.“
“I miss Benny's... But Lucky's got me emotional it felt like I was back home in ?? only thing missing was the playa/ Beach and the heat the food was delicious we got the buffalo wrap ,messy fries, wings, potato skins... Then the bathroom smells pretty and it's kept clean even the security ppl are nice and I love they have themed nights also that all DRINKS are 50% ALL DAY...“
“First time coming to this establishment and I got pizza and beer. The pizza was very good and worth the value of the price. The beer menu is a good size and has many options. The service was very good for how busy the restaurant was. The place has a great atmosphere for a night out in Gordon Square!“
“Look, I know this is going to sound crazy, but—So, this restaurant has the best egg rolls. It’s not even close. I mean, in the world. My egg roll consumption immediately increased from 1 to 100 (per year) after my first taste They’re crave-able. Order-on-their-own-able.But don’t.Order them alone.Because the rest of their menu is crazy good. Served hot and fresh and flavorful in all the best ways. Oh, yeah, they also have the best sweet and sour sauce. Also in the world. Freshly made in-house and noticeably less cloying as even the best of the rest. They know what they’re doing here. Trust them. Be grateful for their presence as I am. <3Also their fried rice is the best.“
“One of our new favorite KBBQ spots. Was hard to find at first, as it is inside this plaza with no markings on the outside. Inside there is an Asian market on the first floor and then you go up the stairs to the restaurant.Got both entrees and the BBQ and loved both!“
“A very good value - two of us ate a sit-down "meat and potatoes" meal for less than $15 each. It's a bar on one side, a restaurant on the other. Several basic dinners for around $10, with the seafood items running up into the $30 range.Atmosphere feels like a "Mom and Pop" sort of place - comfortable and relaxed. The owner was on the floor, checking on things and bussing tables.Overall, thumbs up. Nothing fancy, great value.Parking: There is a parking lot behind the building.“
“I have never physically been to Mr. Jamaican Kitchen because I always order from Ubereats and my food is ALWAYS delicious. I order the Jerk Salmon and looking to try other items on the menu.I am going to visit one day and let them know how much me and my husband love the food???“
“The Philly cheesesteak is always delicious, their gyro uses fresh ingredients, and the chicken gyro hits hard. They have good chicken wings too. I've been going to Captain's for over 15 years and they always get my order right. Great food and service for the price.“
“I ordered the rib tip dinner, and I have to say they're the best I have ever had. The tips were so tender they melted in your mouth. I was invited by Wendell and when he said "Oh, you'll be back" and I said sure I willHe was right, I will definitely be back!!!“
“I went here yesterday evening. I liked that the food is cooked, once you place in order. I had the shrimp dinner, and it is mandatory that you get the sauce, that comes with it. It’s fantastic barbecue sauce. I actually was not hungry, but I wanted to taste the food while it was hot and fresh. I ended up going to sleep with a very full stomach. Lol. my mother ordered the ribs with fries that was smothered in the barbecue sauce. It was a great time for us both.Dietary restrictions: I don’t eat chicken, beef, pork, or anything outside of seafood, and they can accommodate.Parking: You can park in front of the restaurant, or on the side streets.“
“It's a small spot on 185th it's balck owned and operated. The food is excellent and they bring the food out to your car. Next time I go I will take some pics of the food!! But they close at 9 mon-friday I believe Google is wrong lol but still great food and service“
“Amazing food, looooooong wait times. I had heard about this place from numerous Clevelanders. This is a go-to chicken spot for many of the locals. This place isn't in the nicest area, but like many good eateries, that is a sign that the food will be good. I walked in and saw a lobby full of partrons who looked hot and tired of waiting. I didn't mind this because I knew I wanted to try them. When I placed my order, the cashier told me it would be about 15 minutes. Around 40 minutes later, my number was called. I overheard some other patrons stating that the cashier tells everyone the same wait time. I ordered 10 wings and fries with sauce on everything and a Polish Boy.My biggest mistake was waiting until I got back to my hotel to dig in. Our hotel was about 30 minutes away, so that caused the heat from the hot food to make my wings and fries a bit soggy. But, I could tell that if I had eaten them sooner, they would've been even better. Don't get me wrong, the food was still good, but I should've tried it in the parking lot. The sauce is amazing, and it can be purchased in a bottle. It reminds you of the sauce that they used to carry at Hot Sauce WIlliams. The fries were decent, and the sauce drizzled on them, making them better. The Polish Boy was huge, sloppy, and full of flavor. That is exactly how a Polish Boy should be made and consumed. Pro Tips When you order, make sure you are not in a rush. Eat your food shortly after getting it to avoid it getting soggy. Purchase a bottle of sauce to go.WIngs 1-5=4.Fries 1-5=2.Polish Boy 1-5=4.Sauce 1-5=5!“
“I've been going to this place since I was in junior high (70's) ?.I sure miss the spot on Hayden. It's those hole in the wall / mom & pop spots that often have the best food with generous portions. 105th keep that original sauce, wings , fries, ribs, and polish boys going!Parking: When the food is that good, you'll park down the street & walk for it.“
“I met the owner Ray. He's a great guy. We talked about character, hard work, and business. We got the Crowd Pleaser. It came with a whole slab of ribs, 8 chicken wing, green beans, and fries. About 9 - 12 individual ribs are on the slab. These ribs were sooooooo good though! They were smokey, tender, meaty, with a nice little crunch on the ourside. The fried chicken was super crispy. We had the sauce on the side so we could taste both sauce and no sauce. Both were good. The green beans were good and flavorful. My wife said it reminded her of greens. Finally the fries were crispy and crunchy.I have to say the best barbeque ribs and fried chicken in Cleveland hands down!!!!!!“
“Alfredo is number one in Cleveland, there's better security and a more mature crowd, no Riff Raff, and the kitchen is off the chain, happy hour is a great time to get in and get out, with a bargain, stop by if you have a chance....Vegetarian options: Just let it be know to cook in a pan whatever it is you like when it comes to vegetables, they will make a wayParking: Plenty space and safe....Wheelchair accessibility: Yea there is back door service for wheelchair“
“Mabel’s BBQ is the creation of Iron Chef Michael Symon who happens to be a Cleveland native. It’s a cute little restaurant that offers a straight forward menu of smoked meats and accompaniments. His smoked meats are original tasting, exclusive to Symon with a unique flavor! The beef brisket (fatty or lean) fatty option was decadent and melted in our mouths! The turkey breast had a subdued flavor but with a little bbq sauce it was good. At least he offers this for people who are on restricted diets!Pickles, German style slaw, hot peppers and fresh baked traditional rye slices were perfectly matched. The side order of broccoli slaw was a good way for us to cleanse our palettes between using the Aardvark sauce and the Cleveland sauces on our meats. We liked that they served everything family style which is an option vs separate trays. The Apple pie they offer is from the top local bakery and was excellent with a cobbler style top. We asked for ala mode and that ice cream was top drawer too. One of the best we’ve had!Iron Chef Michael Symon did the research, homework and created a masterpiece of a restaurant! We really enjoyed our meal and will return. Next time we are each ordering a 1/2 pound of fatty and a 1/2 pound of lean brisket vs only the 1/2 pound! It’s that good! Turkey could have had a little more smoked flavor so I’ll pass on that.Mary our server was very attentive. We were in the outdoor dining area which was enjoyable and fun watching people go by.“
