“First time at this bar because I told that they just opened not to long ago but I love the small intimate space that can be rent which is equipped with a kitchen and staff right next door in the larger party room right to meet your acquaintances. Only thing I would suggest is adding some curtains so that people who are outside don't look through the window at your party like your zoo animals or something.“

“I’ve been here a couple times so far. I mainly come for karaoke, which are on Sundays & Wednesday. The atmosphere is very friendly, it’s never too crowded. Everyone is very very nice! “We came here for a work dinner while shooting a film nearby and it was magnificent. All of us are pretty well-versed foodies and within 10 minutes we were oohing and aahing over the cacio e pepe that they make using farfale. Then the owner showed up with a literal mixing bowl of a fresh garlic and tomato pasta just to treat his patrons, we didn’t expect it and the guilty smile with which he spooned it onto each of our plates “just to try” was half the atmosphere of the restaurant bundled up in an act of hospitality. No kidding, it was 2x better than pasta I’ve had in much finer establishments, or even in the big tourist haunts in New York’s little Italy. Service with Marissa was incredible, and everyone was beyond friendly. What a delight!“

Her food came out a bit late and though we were enjoying our time, they went out of their way to make it better - they bought a round of drinks, took her dinner off the tab and gave her a "Borgata" snow cap. In addition they had the whole place sing "Happy Birthday". Couldn't have had a better time or a better group of people running the place. Can't wait to go back.“

“The place was very cool and the drinks were excellent. But the bartender watched us walk in and left. He went into the small kitchen and started doing dishes for 5 or 10 minutes before coming back to the bar to serve us a drink. Very odd to just leave people allowed in the bar like that. But he was friendly and made a great drink. Also we were the only ones there so bartender leaving didn't make any sense.“

I didn't get food but when I walked in my lights were still on, the security told me when they didn't go off after a few minutes. “What a great family owned Mexican Restaurant! The prices are very affordable! They have a huge menu! I recommend the dessert chimichonga! It's fried with cheesecake in the center! He suggested an Italian wine which my husband said was fantastic. Food was made to order with attentive service. They have a large wine menu and an amazing selection of wines by the bottle in the adjoining room. We will come back on a Saturday for their rib special.“
“Everyone here is so cool. Whenever I don't feel like going to funhouse (because we've been there a million times that month) and want another laid-back bar, Social Room is the go-to. The bartender knows my drink whenever I come in and she's so sweet and bubbly! The wait time is nonexistent, the patio is real cute, and there are a billion restaurants over here if you want food before or after drinks. This was not the kind of bar where people turn their heads and glare at you... it felt warm and welcoming!The bar was full, but the bartender immediately approached us and took our order. She was so kind and sweet.We got our 4 Xmas ales and sat over by the wall -- which was covered with adorable pictures of dogs! We put some music on the touch tunes with no pushback, and shortly after a man approached us. We thought we were going to get scolded for our music selection, but instead it was the Bar owner introducing himself and genuinely thanking us for coming to his bar.He explained that Gilbert was his dog and this bar was dedicated to Gilbert -- hence the wall of dogs!!We really thought this was a fantastic idea (the 4 of us being dog moms) and we're so touched by the owners gesture to introduce himself and explain the bar history.We are SO thankful for this local bar and will never go to b-dubs in lyndhurst again. Prices were great, staff was very friendly, and the bar & bathrooms were very clean!Only call out here -- no draft beer, but they had an excellent selection to choose from! Can't wait to come back! “I went here to enjoy a night out with staff and it was the perfect little bar that we needed. The staff was so friendly and great listeners. I ordered a tequila sunrise and a prime rib philly steak sub with fries and mozzarella sticks. I absolutely loved both! “I went to B Side Lounge last night and I couldn't wait to leave a review of my experience. Every Tuesday they have a live band in combination with an open mic and it's was really an artist's paradise. There were vocalists, MC's, and musicians that were so talented. It was an ambiance that was unbeatable. This was my first time ever going for this event and I definitely will be going again next Tuesday. The event does have a 10 dollar cover charge but it was worth it. I think it's a great place to go by yourself to meet people, for date night or with friends. Honorable mention: The Long Island cocktails are monstrous in the best way possible!“
