“OCTOBER 2023FAMILY-FRIENDLY FUN IN CINCINNATIIf you're looking for a fun game to play with family (perhaps for a birthday or to take the kids after a special game), then I know the perfect spot that won't entirely break the bank: FOWLING WAREHOUSE CINCINNATI. It's a fun crossover where football meets bowling, located in an old Coca Cola warehouse in Norwood. You can pack in whatever food you'd like, because they don't have a kitchen there. Alternatively, you may have food delivered there. There is a bar for both adult and child beverages (including the old-school slushy machines for kids). Part of the proceeds go to support local charities.I cannot speak to what goes on there after dark, but on a recent trip on a Sunday afternoon for my sister's birthday we were able to play and saw kids young and old in a safe, clean environment playing together. Not sure of many places where one might see a Grandma, a high school athlete and a kid brother or sister all playing a physical game together. AND they do pay to televise Bengals and other sports on multiple projector screens and smaller TVs, so you don't have to worry about missing out on the game! They even have a few arcade games there including basketball and skee ball.NOTE: Any adults (even if you don't intend to have an adult beverage) must have a valid ID scanned at the door.PICTURED: I was too busy "FUNNING" and helping with the younger kids to take pictures. This is a perfectly safe space for children to play games with friends and/or relatives during the day on a weekend. There are proper safety nets in place around the main play areas. For those with multiple children needing some wizardry and wardrobe or diaper changes, there's a full-sized family restroom right on the main floor. Pack in whatever food you might like for the kiddos. There's a free water station that's accessible to kids also.When I was there, all saw in the eyes and faces of every child was sheer joy.“

“Great family owned and operated pub. Solid standard food options like burgers, wings, and various sandwiches and salads. You will find something you like on the menu 100%. The food is consistently good and fresh. But the highlight is the staff. They are very engaging and friendly. They remember your name and make you feel like part of the family. St Bernard Pub feels like home. My lunch crew and I try to eat here once a week.“

While I understand inflation is spiking the cost of everything recently, it's just a shame that the portion sizes are getting smaller.Other than that, Rick's Tavern & Grille has THE BEST burgers I've ever had in my life.“

“First time here, mostly positive experience. It was actually warm inside (I hate having to wear coats while we're eating, and that happens at most other places). Music was a good volume. Plenty of people, many families. Plenty of TVs. Good beer. Food was ok, typical bar & grill food. FYI they charge a 3% fee to those who pay with a credit card. Maybe up the menu prices by 3% rather than tacking that 3% fee on to the credit card paying customers. 75% of restaurant patrons pay with card. You could offer a 3% discount to your 25% of customers paying in cash, instead of insulting 75% of your customers with an extra fee. When I run into this I simply reconcile it by taking it out of the server's tip. OF COURSE I know it is not the server's fault, but they do work for your company. I don't. Since I don't enjoy shorting service personnel out of principle, we probably won't be back.“

“This is a college bar far from a college. Amazing wings and often poor service. Still the bar food is often worth it. When you order smoked wings you get a set of sauces you can try or mix. They are amazing. If the place is too busy, walk to the bar across the street. It has the same ownership and uses the same kitchen.“

“I have never been to the Backdoor Saloon. It is located in the rear of the Greenhills Shopping Plaza. I believe it is a bar. The Backdoor Saloon has it's own vibe. It appears to have a tight knit community of people who gather there. This is showing up as a place I've visited because the harvest festival happens in close proximity. If you are thinking of going to be the Back Door Saloon I would encourage you to call first to get details about business hours and etc.“

“The Dilly is one of our favorite restaurants! We visit Mariemont about four times a year. It is our secret hideaway. We always eat at The Dilly for supper one night. The atmosphere is very hip and modern. We've tried many items on the menu, but our favorites are the Beer Cheese (apples are the best for dipping) and the Fish & Chips (HUGE PORTION). There is always a large selection of beers (local, craft, and standard) and many, many wines to choose from. During the summer we prefer to enjoy our meal on the patio.
