“I’ve been eating here for over 15 years, which makes me sad to say that out loud and makes me feel old, but out of those 15 years, I can say they’ve been consistent, and they maybe have made a mistake once maybe twice in that time. I feel like the food is always great. They’re always friendly, and their delivery is truly the fastest I’ve ever seen. Like I swear he’s outside the door with our food as soon as I hit the place order button, it is awesome. I’ve had so many Chinese restaurants that others say are amazing, that I always find bland, and the chicken will have that microwaved flavor but this place never does! I also absolutely adore that they do not put sugar in their crab Rangoon’s, they are amazing. So are the egg rolls! Anywho, just saying, you guys are great. The people saying otherwise can go touch grass.“

“I ordered Kung Pao Chicken for lunch. It was a beautiful combination of fresh and bright vegetables with juicy pieces of chicken. It Had the right amount of kick and the sauce was so flavorful. My favorite part of kung pao is the peanuts that help counter act the spiciness. Which grand china did not disappoint me and had a nice amount of peanuts in the dish! I also loved they used zucchini in this dish it was superb. Lunch is fairly priced at $7 a combination. I will be back to try more dishes !

April 2026 update

I tried their HUGE JUICY FRIED WINGS , were picked up on a Friday night while at the bar few doors down. Super impressed with the flavor, crispiness and size of theses wings. I already loved the traditional Chinese takeout from here and now I have to start picking up these bug juicy wings!

I do think you guys should offer some sweet n sour or even a house sauce to sell along side it too. It would have been a huge hit with the girls! They were kinda mad I had no sauce.“

I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and it hit every note. The chicken was perfectly cooked, the sauce had that classic balance of sweet and tangy that you want from a great sweet and sour, and the portions were generous. “I'm by no means a food critic but I had an exceptional experience eating at this restaurant. It should ALWAYS be busy!

A friend and I were in town for an event, and afterwards we happened to see someone with food that advertised itself! The presentation was immaculate. When they told us that the food came from Golden Chopsticks we headed right there and were greeted with smiles, hospitality, and food that did NOT DISAPPOINT! They have a wide variety of classic options along with some signature dishes like the Salt and Pepper Chicken (you wouldn't expect the level of complexity and balance of flavors, but they seriously nailed it with this dish.

The facilities are modern and clean from the bathrooms to the open porch area. The chef even came out to speak with us to tell us about how he created some of the dishes on the menu and the vision of the restaurant. I can't recommend Golden Chopsticks enough!“

Brought my wife here for a meal to make her feel better, as she was feeling a little under the weather, and I think it really did the trick. She was very happy and pleased with the meal. She had the braised beef noodle soup.

I had the Dan Dan hand stretched noodles, they were quite delicious and satisfying for a spice craving.

The service was great, and they had Boba tea available from the next-door Boba shop.

“My husband and I dined while shopping today! We were in around 1p and we were seated with no wait. Our server Dan was fantastic I highly recommend him. His service made our visit 5 stars! The food was great and came out in perfect timing! Please stop in, we had the spring rolls as an appetizer but I forgot to get a picture of them. I had the Ma Po Tofu with brown rice and my husband got Kung Pow Chicken with the upcharge of lo mein noodles. Our lunch was close to $60 for both of us.“

“Hands down the best Chinese food in the Columbus area. You can order anything from here and you won’t be disappointed. My personal favorite is the spicy wings with green onions. I give them 4/5 stars. I would give 5, but they are a little stingy with sauces and when you ask for more they just give you one more and you don’t want to keep asking for more, so you leave with less sauce than you want lol. Each of the dinner entrees are big enough for two to share. The thing they need to improve is the interior of the store. The order board is half lit and no prices are listed on there. They have handwritten specials written on colored pieces of paper taped on the wall (rather tacky). It doesn’t look appealing to walk into the restaurant because you see tables with torn chairs and the owners and their family sitting at a table eating their dinner together. You feel like you’re interrupting them. Then they get up from eating to take your order, then make your food! Feels kinda unsanitary to me.“

“I checked out Hunan Bistro at the old K House location and had a great experience. The restaurant will be getting renovations and remodeling soon, but the food already impressed me.

We ordered the Egg Drop Soup, Hot & Sour Soup, Cucumber Salad, Salt & Pepper Crispy Fish, Mongolian Beef, General Tso’s Chicken, Stir-fried Pork with Chili Peppers, Stir-fried Beef, and Kung Pao Chicken.

My favorites were definitely the Cucumber Salad, Salt & Pepper Crispy Fish, and the Kung Pao Chicken all were packed with flavor and cooked really well. The menu has a lot of great options if you enjoy authentic style Chinese dishes with some spice and variety.

I also had the chance to meet the owner, Cai, and she was super cool and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

I’ve been a customer for the last 6 years and get carryout once or twice a month. As someone who grew up in Asia and has traveled in China, I've eaten a lot of chinese food. For an american chinese restaurant, New China Fortune does a great job of producing high quality dishes using fresh ingredients with authentic flavor. True, it is not authentic chinese street food, but then, I have never found that in the USA. But of the 10 or so chinese restaurants I have tried in Columbus, I like this one the best. For one, they are fast. My food is always ready in less than 15 minutes, and well packed for travel home. Their portions are very generous and they provide ample rice to go with it which I really like. My wife and I usually get 3-4 main dishes and we can get 4-5 meals out of it. This is a picture of a recent meal and you can see how fresh the veggies are. We particularly like their egg rolls, hot and sour soup, moo goo gai pan and their Thai curries (not so much the pad thai). I like that the couple that owns the business made extra efforts to keep everyone safe during the pandemic. The restaurant has a few tables but isn't really set up for table service, it’s mostly carryout. If you call your order in, she may sound a bit gruff and her English is not so good but don’t let that deter you, they are polite and efficient and super hard working. This is the type of immigrant-owned businesses that make our community great, I hope you will support them and enjoy their food as much as we do. Oh, I have never ordered them (why not?) but she once gave me a treat of a dozen freshly fried, hot donut balls tossed in powdered sugar. They were amazing and I almost ate all of them before I got home (had to save a few for my wife!).“

“Utterly blew my mind. The best Asian food is full of the individual flavors melded together but distinct with rice as a delivery system for the sauce thst binds the flavors together.

That is exactly what Zen Noodle does. The flavors are a close second to Gorden Ramsey's Asian restaurant in a Hilton in Tokyo.
