“The staff was courteous and very accommodating especially when asked to modify a certain dish on the menu. The only disappointment was that they didn't have sausage or veal on their menu. I usually opt for sausage with pasta and my husband likes veal Parmesan. The restaurant is clean and comfortable.Dietary restrictions: Let your waitress/waiter know of your allergies. They will accommodate you.“

“Our reservation at another local restaurant was lost on a busy Saturday night. We had tickets for a show at DeYor at 730 so we wanted something close. Yosteria came in mind. Luckily they could squeeze us in and it was amazing. We told our lovely server we had a time crunch and she went beyond for our group. Not only were we out the door in plenty of time to make the show, it was delicious!! We will be back!“

“We had no idea what this place was like, I googled a place with good Tiramisu and Jimmy's showed up. They were incredibly friendly on the phone when i ordered. When we arrived to pick it up, my husband and i stopped in our tracks. This place is huge, with display cases FULL of every Italian dessert, cookie, pastry, biscotti, i could go on and on. Then you arrive at the displays of meat, cheese, pasta, etc. All the staff was so welcoming and friendly especially the young lady who waited on us.In the car we immediately tried a bite of one of the 6 extra desserts we purchased! Magical. Delicious. Period.“

“Started with Tequila espresso martinis which were FABULOUS! appetizers included Calamari, caprese salad, beet salad, and artichokes. All were great and very sharable. Dinner included Eggplant parmesan, Grilled Skirt Steak, Linguini Neri also Scoglio-Clams, mussels, wild shrimp, over squid ink pasta, sides of Brussel sprouts and a bottle of Groth Cabernet. The restaurant has an authentic Italian feel, quiet enough to hear everyone at the table. Prices fair-high our bill for party of 7 was $500. That included 2 cocktail each, 1 bottle of wine and LOTS of food. Dimitri the server was awesome!! He did a great job describing the food options and provided great recommendations. This is a fabulous restaurant, elegant, classy, but not stuffy, relaxing and enjoyable for all! HIGHLY Recommend.“

“The food here is phenomenal! The service is wonderful, as well. Portions and prices are decent. The only reason that this has a four star instead of a five is because they offer very minimal gluten-free options. I wish that they offered a gluten-free pasta option!“

“Finding a good lasagna is hard. These guys nail it! When we are out in the area it's our favorite place to go for Italian food. They have always taken great care of us even the time we looked like ragamuffins and probably should have just done drive thru. They are worth giving a try.“

“I have never tried Uptown pizza before, but kept hearing good reviews. I ordered a pepperoni and a deluxe pizza. The owner told me it would knock my socks off. ? And here they are. I could not get over the crispness of the outer crust and the flavor and texture of the dough. The sauce was so mellow and rich, the cheese pull really stretched! It was not too thick nor too thin...just perfect I am so glad this place is down the road from work...I will be ordering often!“

“I got take out for lunch. I ordered online. Food is usually ready when you arrive. It is a good plan it you don't have a lot of time. The food is delicious. The service is always good & friendly. I have always been met with a smile & greeting. The atmosphere is good. Other things: Parking is limited out front, handicapped accessible, and they have many options on the menu. A good choice.“

“Pretty good little pizza place here. No tables for dine-in, mostly just a take-out place. Friendly staff and the pizza itself was tasty and not too bad on price.Parking: Free parking reserved for the pizza place itself. Plenty of additional parking in the parking lot, too.“

“Overall a good experience, the food was great and everyone was friendly. The only reason they didn't get five stars was our server was busy moving delivery boxes to the back and he wasn't that attentive to us or the other customers at the bar. I wish they might let him just do his main job and get someone else to move boxes.“
“We live within 5 minutes of this restaurant but never think of going here, that won't be the case any longer! This place is a true family owned, family ran restaurant. The place is small, probably holds 40 people but it is nicely decorated and clean. The portions are huge, so big that I only ate half of my meal which rarely happens. So let's start from the beginning....The bread was very fresh and delicious. The salads were fresh and crisp while the dressings were flavorful. I ate my son's coleslaw, it was delicious, crisp and had a little sweetness to it. I ordered the Nonni's Chicken, spaghetti topped with sauce, greens, breaded chicken and a Hungarian hot pepper. The chicken was very tender and the greens were on par! I highly recommend this dish, did I mention how generous the portion was? The wife hade spicy chicken Alfredo and my son had shrimp Alfredo, both really enjoyed their meals. You could tell that the sauce was made to order and was very creamy. I am not sure how we have neglected to patronize the place for so long but I believe that will change moving forward. Go visit them and support a true family owned business.“

“The stuffed jalapeno shrimp appetizer is delicious with a kick and the dipping sauce has a sweetness that brings it all together. The bruschetta is yummy as well, so much topping, it's almost too much! I enjoyed the sausage gnocchi. The sausage was full of flavor and their traditional red sauce is fantastic. The sauce is thick and flavorful and combined the whole dish. My date had the penne with meat sauce and sausage link and enjoyed it as well. Our server was fun, energetic and helpful! Generous portions and delicious. I will come back here again!“
“I was not expecting to find Jersey level integrity at an Italian Deli in Ohio. Bravo! What do I mean by this? Well, on my first visit to Jimmy's, hanging right on the front door was a very good sign. Actually, it was a sad sign that announced escarole was not available at the moment, and Jimmy's was compelled to use frozen chopped spinach for their famous greens. 1) That's some incredible transparency right there. Did I say "Bravo!" because, Bravo!2) It show's that Jimmy's understands this is a serious enough issue for its clientele to post the information before you even enter the doors. Salud! But I came here as a pit stop on a road trip, and I would not be deterred. I strolled up to the sandwich counter, and got the pollo diavolo brick, and asked them to add some of those greens into the mix. Even with frozen chopped spinach, that extra 50 cents was money well spent. Bellissimo! My travel companion got the meatball sub and was very happy. We haven't found meatballs like this in the midwest. They may not have been Providence level meatballs, but that's a very high bar indeed. It happened to be an unseasonably warm day, so we took our sandwiches and sat in the sun on a stone bench by the parking lot. The outdoor dining patio was sensibly closed for the season. After the sandwich, we were compelled to venture back inside to check out the pastry case. The lobster tail was properly enormous, and could have easily been split by a family of four. What I already know for sure is that is going to be a regular spot for us when driving across Ohio, and I look forward to many happy returns.“

“We had the angel hair with meatballs. It was excellent. The food is so good and you can't beat the prices! One of my favorite restaurants. Mike even visited every table. He is the owner and recovering from an accident. One of the best family owned small businesses around.“
“Ringing the buzzer to be let in the basement entrance was very nostalgic. The food was great as well as the pricing. The fact that our server, albeit by herself, forgot about the table for 30 minutes or so was the only issue not worthy of 5 star “

“Great food, friendly employees and live music! I always get a salmon salad to die for but they have this salmon dish with mashed potatoes and broccoli that is to die for! Pizza, steak it’s all good. They have friendly staff and plenty of parking. There is a patio open this time of the year worth visiting. The owner frequents the establishment which is nice to see. Family owned you won’t regret visiting for a quick lunch or a lengthy dinner. They have music and a great selection of alcohol. They make this smoked drink I love right in front of you! Food always comes out quick and it’s on point! You will not be disappointed. Always a fresh look they recently upgraded the building with fresh paint and new floors. You can tell love is in this restaurant. From the staff to the decor. Lovely atmosphere when they bring in live music. It’s once a week I can’t remember when though. Check they always answer and are very friendly. Oh the fish tacos are out of this world! So is their Alfredo for those who get heart burn from tomato sauce the Alfredo is fire! Wheel chair accessible the whole 9. Sit in the patio it’s so pleasant!Parking: Plenty of parking. Huge lotKid-friendliness: The staff is kind, friendly and quick! “Ate out with my brother, and we were treated very well by the staff. The restaurant was super busy, but I never had to try to get the waitresses attention for anything, she was very attentive about refilling drinks. The food was amazing, it came hot and delicious.“

“I enjoyed this restaurant immensely. I had the Chicken Fettucine Alfredo with a salad and a large bread roll I also had an unsweetened iced tea. The server was very attentive and the food was very good. The Chicken Fettucine was good with just about the right amount of white alfredo sauce, not too much or too little. I ordered unsweetened iced tea and when I mentioned I would sweeten it to my taste she asked which sweetener I preferred and provide that to me. She also kept the iced tea topped off for most of the meal. The bread is a well made white bread boule. It is a very nice and cozy restaurant. I was on travel visiting my son who lives in a group home nearby and went in without a reservation and was seated immediately. I have favorite restaurants in cities across the country, to include Washington, DC, Philadelphia, New York, Boston, San Diego, Denver, Los Angeles, Berkeley, San Jose, San Francisco, Phoenix and many other cities. Although, this may not be the most trendy restaurant in any of those cities, the service and the food would place it well within the standard of restaurants in most of those cities. It is an Italian restaurant. They may want to expand their menu to include some non-Italian food choices and include food allergy free food choices such as gluten free and a selection of vegetarian and other food types. This doesn't have to be an extremely large part of the menu. The salad was good but I prefer my lettuce to not be as cut up as it was. The dressing was put on the side which permitted me to put on how much dressing as I desired. I am getting older and eat smaller portions so the server provide me with everything I needed to save the left over Chicken Fettucine Alfredo and the bread. This is likely the best restaurant in the Sharon, Hermitage and Farrell area.“

“Stopped in to this restaurant on a whim. It was, hands down, the best restaurant service in years. Judy was an amazing waitress, she was so attentive and knowledgeable. She really cares about the restaurant. The food was amazing, we got the baked cod dinner. It was so much food we left over stuffed. The Scooner beers were also perfect. The ambiance feels like a step back in time. Its old school, but it every perfect way. Highly recommend!!“

“My favorite place for Ziti marinara, it's the best I've ever had. Sandwiches are excellent, and so are their homemade soups. Steak Salad is great as well. Their traditional Pizza is fantastic. I've been going there since the mid 90's and enjoyed every time. Don't forget to try one of those excellent cookies :) I am grateful to have this place locally.“
