“I was served quickly and treated with the utmost respect. I received exactly what I had ordered and the server (Cara) was very professional. It was my first time going to ANY Waffle House and Cara made it her duty to let me know that it's the place to go if you're looking for a delicious homestyle meal. ??“
“This place is phenomenal excellent food I have chicken parmesan wife had steak salad and I also got a side of chili which was absolutely the best meaty Hardy zesty flavorful chili I've had and I don't know who could compare to that a chili cooking contest winner for sure. I even ordered a quart to go.DELICIOUS.“
“What a great experience!! I haven't been in a Danny's in probably 15yrs or more. But i can tell you this, we are definitely coming back to this location! Our server Lynn was absolutely incredible. She was attentive, kind, knowledgeable about the menu and just an absolute joy. After having such a long day she was the best end to my evening. She just gained two new regulars with us! The food was great too. Fresh and picture perfect. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was nice. The pot roast melt is my new fav. Make sure to ask for Lynn when you come in because you wont be disappointed!“
“Had a standard breakfast of eggs, potatoes, bacon, toast, side of sausage gravy and coffee. Food was very good especially with the price. Lots of waffles and pancakes options I want to try another time. Waitress was very friendly and engaging, and kept my coffee mug full.Parking: Standard parking lot.“
“I haven't been to LS&B for at least 10 years after I moved. I got a sudden craving for my favorite sub so drove 50 miles to get one. Things have not changed. Their Italian Nightmare sub is still my favorite and always will be. It won't take me another 10 years to have another one!!! DELICIOUS! The staff was so friendly too!“
“This place is a gem! Great healthy choices very clean. I love how Melissa makes all of her own dressing. Everything is fabulous great attitudes And the establishment is always clean. when I picked up my food today I only seen one thing that stood out to me, in the staff members in the back don’t wear gloves when handling food. I do know human behavior and sometimes no matter how clean we want to be with our hands sometimes that isn’t the case and with so many viruses and colds going around. I really like seeing establishments I eat at that is working with my food have gloves on there hands when maintaining or touching any type of food that Hass to go into my mouth. so for me that is the main thing that stands out to me and has me a little bit more cautious. however overall this establishment has four stars Melissa is doing a great job her staff is amazing in the environment is calm and chilled! However the members not having gloves in their hands definitely is a big deal to me and that is a personal observation .“
“What a great find if you're a brunch kind of person. We stopped here because we saw all the great reviews on Yelp and we were yet again satisfied with the choice. Thanks to Yelp we have found a lot of great places and tried a lot of new things. This place is newly updated and extremely busy during the morning hours. Expect a little wait but it's worth it. Rhi was our waitress and went above and beyond to make sure our experience was great. Portions were big and service was great. Will definitely return to try this stuffed French toast that I saw everyone ordering. Our food was cooked perfectly with lots of flavor. Give this place a try if you're in the area.“
“I still highly enjoy and recommend this place. Both for food quality and speed. The place is always packed but the wait times are not as bad as long as you don't go at high peak times. The food quality is great, the staff is great, and now that the town it resides in has added additional community parking spaces near the location, it is not bad at finding a place to park.“
“Despite hearing bad experiences from peers, I tried eating here for the first time and was blown away. The Galley Boy is by far one of the greatest burgers I've ever had, and the milkshakes were thick to perfection. Service was also excellent, and the people serving were very polite and professional. I'll definitely be visiting this place again soon!Parking: Just pull into a spot and they will wait to take your order immediately.“
“We ordered take-out today for family Easter dinner. My experience was top notch from my initial phone call on Saturday night to the restaurant inquiring about available menus, etc to driving away with my order on Sunday. Cameron was wonderfully pleasant on the phone and my order was 100% correct, which seems to be a real problem for so many restaurants lately. Not here. She even carried my huge order to the car.Support local restaurants people, and start with this one!“
“Irie was awesome. For anyone who judges this place based on gimmick, SHAME. I understand there is a gimmick illustrated here, but I'll tell ya, there are many of the workers who go beyond the gimmick and can also demonstrate the inner beauty of their God-given customer service gifts to also compliment the outer as well; Irie by FAR fits that bill. Quick, friendly and efficient, I can honestly say she's one of the best waitresses my girl and I have had yet. We love the food and we absolutely love the people. It's a friendly environment and the food never misses. Ever. Give Twin Peaks a try, and ask for Irie. You WILL NOT be disappointed. The prices for the portions are phenomenal too! Twin Peaks is a vibe.Vegetarian options: They do have an impossible patty and plenty of salads you can order without meat on them.“
“We make it a point to come here whenever we come to Sharon because the wings are Epic. They make your sauce to order, so you can order one of theirs or make up your own and they can make it happen perfectly. The wings are meaty and crispy and juicy. The blue cheese is house made and amazing. The garlic fries are greasy but delicious. It's often very busy so please be patient. All the workers and servers are very friendly. We had Tammy tonight and she was very attentive and answered all our questions with kindness and patience. Despite being packed she was in good spirits and took great care of us. Worth the trip and worth the money, highly recommend. Shown in pics are the garlic fries, Cajun ranch wings, and hot garlic Parmesan ranch wings.“
“We have an excellent lunch. My daughter and I had the mini tenderloin sandwiches with fries. The tenderloin was cooked to perfection. My wife had roasted chicken and hers was prepared perfectly too. I also added the lobster bisque. It had small pieces of lobster and was the best bisque that I have ever had. The service was excellent. The atmosphere is very relaxing and I would not hesitate to come back here the next time we are in DC.“
“Loved it. The buffet was amazing, and reminded me so much of home. The service was extremely accommodating and professional. I love the market right beside the restaurant inside, too.I got all the favorites… Pancit, Adobo, Menudo, Pinakbet, etc… And paired it with the banana sauce I got next door ? I haven’t had Filipino food in years, and not regularly since my dad passed. I felt so welcomed to be here.“
“We had a very nice evening out with friends. Our waitress Angela was fantastic. She was so personable and friendly. If you’re going there for dinner ask for Angela. My husband ordered the steak and cake while I ordered the Zin Chicken which was excellent. The steak my husband ordered was so tender, however, the “jumbo” crab cake was a joke. It literally looked like a pancake. I think the chef needs to go up to the New England states or Baltimore for lessons in how a crab cake should look. The Caesar salad I ordered was a little dry also.“
“When we came in to celebrate my birthday, Aubrey took very good care of us! She was always back and forth with us, checking to make sure we had everything we needed! Our food was amazing and dessert was also amazing. Because of Aubrey’s kindness and personality, we will DEFINITELY be back! ♥️♥️“
“The food here is phenomenal! The service is wonderful, as well. Portions and prices are decent. The only reason that this has a four star instead of a five is because they offer very minimal gluten-free options. I wish that they offered a gluten-free pasta option!“
“Kyle was the best bartender I have ever had, and that shouldn’t be taken lightly. The atmosphere he created was insane and this was our first time coming. He was very tentative to us at the bar and was super funny. His music is also unmatched. Best. Bar. Ever!“
“Allex was an amazing server with outstanding service!! She paid for my entire meal, told me about her passion for helping out the elderly, and is even working to adopt a couple less fortunate children in hopes of giving them better life opportunities. Such an inspiration!!! I will definitely be back!!!“
“In from out of town for the Easter Holiday weekend. Met family there Friday and had to have the Battered Fish and Crab Tacos. Absolutely fantastic!! Have not been here in a few years, and was great then, still great now! Service was typical spot on. We sat outside and lots of room. If you have not been here, come!!Parking: Plenty of parking, several open areas even on a Friday Fish Night!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp, wheelchair accessible but probably requires some effort due to angle and door on the side lot. Didn't checkout the accessibility on the other entrance areas.“
“I don't know why we waited so long to finally try Vey's, but I can easily see it becoming a regular spot for us! I got the vegan sandwich, which, surprisingly, featured chicken strips instead of a patty, and my husband got the began chicken wrap, with vegan cheese added in. I didn't even realize that vegan cheese was on the menu until our server mentioned it! Vegan chicken and vegan cheese are two things that are incredibly hard to come by in restaurants in this area, so it was definitely a treat. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and I also really enjoyed the overall environment. My only complaint is that online ordering isn't available, so, if you want takeout, you have to call and explaining vegan substitutes can be difficult. #Veganuary Updated from previous review on 2023-08-06“
“I've been here a few times. The food is good, probably better if you're gluten tolerant, but since I'm not, there are very few good options, and those options aren't spectacular. The seating here can be extremely uncomfortable if you get put in the wrong spot. The last time we went, my husband and I sat on the same side of a booth and I've never been in a worse seat at a restaurant. It literally caved in to the center so our spines were at an angle toward each other. We're regular sized people, on the thin side if anything. The only alternative seating available was a hard metal high-top stool with no back. I don't have back problems, I'm relatively young, but I was literally aching to get out of there for how cheap and poorly built the booth seat was.On the plus side, the service is always excellent here! If you can snag a comfortable seat and don't have dietary restrictions, you'll have a great time here.“
“Good food, friendly staff. A little tight space wise, for me.Vegetarian options: There's a few options, like salads, eggplant parm, soup, seafood apps/dishes, a couple or so other items.Parking: During busy hours it may be somewhat difficult to find a spot, but I've never not found one.“
“Recently attended a concert (Jim Brickman) on this smaller auditorium side. We've attended sold out concerts from this same artist on the larger orchestra side of Powers Auditorium. Definitely a different experience as it was a more intimate concert this time, especially due to the close proximity of basically all the seats on this smaller auditorium side. He said he had used this side for rehearsing during concerts he performed on the Powers Auditorium side, saying he loved performing on the larger, "orchestra " side, but wanted to return to have a concert one day on this stage that he also enjoyed for the close experience he could share with his audience.“
“Our server (Asha) was excellent. Also, she smiled—a lot!JoJo, the manager partner, came to check in on us before we left regarding our experience. Another professional—and ‘smiler!’And, the chicken tenders were superb as always.Excellent. Thank you.D/L Savon“
“This was my first time there, the place was spotless. The food was amazing. We waited a little longer, but we did have 3 big orders and there was only 1 person doing everything! She was super friendly the food was amazing. Definitely try the chips!! A must visit on my list!“
“One of the oldest, longest-operating maennerchors (German men's singing choirs originally) in the country!! FANTASTIC food and low prices, great bar and service, awesome atmosphere. Run by mature, respectable people who put their customers first, and it shows! In an 1863 house, definitely one of the coolest and most unique restaurant/bars in Youngstown.Kid-friendliness: Many families come here for lunch and dinner.Wheelchair accessibility: Front lower entrance is the main level.“
“The food is excellent & always cooked fresh as you order it. & I would suggest that newcomers try either the 5 or 10 piece breast strips or the 5 piece or 10 piece wing dings & always ask them to put sauce on everything (The wings, the breast strips, fries & all); That's the locals way. & they also have pretty good fish & rib dinners too. & The burgers are great too, just go see my good friends Big Dre & his brother & they'll hook you right up.“
“I had the special Friday fish with coleslaw and perogies.Wife had Fish and haluski. The haluski was very good, Fish was very good, maybe the best I've had since moving here, we both had fried, maybe a lemon half would have made it perfect. Our waitress was very nice and the kitchen was very busy. Great place for a weeknight dinner.“
“Yelp to the rescue again! After a 10+ hour drive I needed to find a place open for dinner. This fit the bill perfectly. I sat at the bar had a quick gin and tonic and ordered the chicken wings with a side of fries. They came out just as I was ordering my second drink. Crispy wings, with tasty sauce. The fries looked to be home cut and were not as crisp as I would have liked, but they were good. Two drinks and dinner for a bit over $20, a great deal for this weary traveler. Thanks“
“I grew up eating bar wings. I recently had their wings for the first time and I am absolutely obsessed! Any time I travel I always ask the locals who has the best wings. I’ve eaten them all over the country and I can easily say these are some of the best wings I’ve ever had!! If you like wings and happen in the area, do yourself a favor a grab an order. My only disclaimer is once you start you can’t stop eating them!“
“Decent burger, very pricey. 14 bucks for a burger in Lowellville, OH a bit high. Nice atmosphere, excellent waitress. Update...if you use your credit card, prepare to pay more. If you want cheese on your cheeseburger..add 1 dollar. If you need salad dressing beyond the tiny amount they give you, $1.25 for a thimble full.“
“I love this place, I used to come here growing up when we'd be in Sharon, and now I make a point to stop in whenever I'm passing through-even if its just getting carry out.The food is top notch, the staff kind and helpful, all around it's a classic place to eat, a local staple full of good eggs (pun intended).Parking: There is good street parking and a large lot at places across the street in case that is full, only added a minor walk (barely more than you'd walk to get into any other sit down restaurant).“
“This was my first time ever at Amen Corner, my bestfriend who is my brides maid in my wedding threw me a bridal shower and Amen Corner is the place we had it. The food was amazing and the help there were the kindest gal's and the room was in the back right through the bar and dining room. I will be going back to try out some other food!“
“I've been to Yankee Lake before, but not for dinner. The place was nothing to look at, and my wife said her bathroom was "gross", but the food was really good. Prices were nice on the wallet as well. I don't think this place is romantic and not a "must- go-to" but if you're in the area you could do worse!“
“To me, generally speaking, most pizza tastes are pretty close to the same. But now, the pizza I got from 2nd to None had a new taste that makes it stand apart, and it's the crust. It's absolutely delicious! It reminds me of the homemade bread that my mother made. There is no higher praise I could give! As a rule, I most often buy thin crust, but the smell of dough made me buying a regular. I found it above par comparing it with the pizza chains. We loved the Philly cheese steak too.“
“The Corral is a great place to take kids in the summer for a cheap dessert. My nieces and nephews love their soft serve with sprinkles, and I always make sure to get a size baby (in a cup!). They have nearly all the ice cream they can eat, and often more, for a couple of dollars. There are limited flavors for the soft serve, but the milkshakes have more options. We once ordered fries here and let's just say anything non-ice cream is a mistake. Normally the ice cream comes out in like two minutes, depending on how busy it is etc. When we ordered food, it took almost an hour. The fries were okay but not worth the wait. Definitely stick to ice cream here.“
“This sub shop is flourishing under new management!Best quality subs around and a generous portion for the cost. They have streamlined the order process with a digital menu on a large screen, so it's easy to review your options and decide on your order.During the summer, they make Philly Cheesesteaks fresh to order on a grill outside! The inside has been updated and modernized with a bright, open floor plan.I LOVE the memorable artwork on the outside of the building, as well as the hand painted "Brookfield" mural inside. Also, everyone working there is always very friendly!Vegetarian options: You can order a veggie sub! No meat needed and the produce has always been fresh.Parking: Parking is partially easy but partially intimidating. If you turn into the lot next to the building, there is usually plenty of space to park. But then you'll just have to go up a couple of stairs to the front entrance.I've always been intimidated by pulling up and parking in front of the building because you would have to reverse back out onto the road.If there's no one else parked there, I've seen people turn around.. i just personally dont want to risk getting stuck there for a while or trusting other people to let me out.“
“We came here for drinks after a wedding and they were fantastic. My wife comes here often for drinks with her coworkers and has nothing hit great things to say every time. The only gripe I could think of is that there's only one private bathroom for each sex and when it's busy there is often a line. But the service is worth the wait for sure!“
“I don't like real noisy places that play rap music but I suffered through it to get some wings and a salad. Salad was huge excellent ranch dressing I think they make themselves, and wings I got garlic parmesan? Excellent excellent excellent. Service was okay but the“
“The Landmark restaurant in Youngstown, Ohio is a staple of the Westside. It’s simply one of the best places to get a great breakfast. The portion size for the price is very good. I usually go as soon as they open, not too crowded but it gets busy. You walk in and seat yourself, I usually like to grab a table. The seating options here are table, booths or the counter. I really enjoy the atmosphere here, early morning crowd of people getting ready for work or retired guys just enjoying their coffee. My waitress came over to me quickly, she was very pleasant. She then took my drink & breakfast order. She returned with my bottom-less coffee & water, there was a cup full of creamers on the table that I used to give my coffee the correct consistency. My meal was out a short time later, perfectly prepared, hot & correct. The best part of this place is after you finish your breakfast, you can stroll over to the bakery counter and get some amazing donuts. They make an Apple Fritter & Bear Claw the size of your head!!! They are big and amazing tasty, you simply must try them. They have a whole case of delicious donuts that I know you will enjoy. If you love a proper breakfast & delicious donuts, this is the place for you.“
“The only thing that was left out to be mentioned on the website that it was inside the Doubletree by Hilton, and that was little bit confusing since that was my first time in Ohio but overall it was a very beautiful placeVegetarian options: There were options for vegetarian dishes like spaghetti, squash, and eggplantParking: Parking was easy once we located the restaurant since it was inside the Doubletree by Hilton, the parking garage, and the parking lot were within a short distance of the hotel and they were free“
“Today was my first time getting anything here, and I chose to go with the crispy chicken salad that I always see and hear great things about. I asked for extra Italian dressing and I got just that! They understood the assignment and whatever it is and however they make it is so good. The lady who I’m assuming made my food was very nice so I gave her a decent tip. I will be coming back here again for sure!!“
“My new favorite hang out! The wings are amazing, the prices are great. Service is wonderful. Plus it's a historic building in Youngstown so why not stop and visit. It's cozy with a laid back atmosphere where you can just relax with friends.“
“A great old Mom & Pop restaurant with small town charm....I've only ever had breakfast there in passing by there....it's on the east edge of Ohio....and minutes away from Sharon,PennsylvaniaParking: It's all around the building......“
“My Besty and I haven't been here since the Remodel.......ing has been done and looks like they're finishing up a few odds n ends but for the most part it was very NICE and the sandwich (Tony's sub) my daughter and I shared was very yummy.. And it comes with fries ?..and the staff was very NICE... Great job on the remodeling and thanks for a NICE environment for us to gather for a party and run into friends ?“
“This Cafe and eatery is a cool spot in downtown Youngstown by YNG ST. The pastries are awesome, fresh and delicious! There’s something there for everyone’s sweet tooth. I had the cherry turnover and baklava- wow! The best I’ve ever had without a doubt. I also had the coffee which was smooth to the last drop. The coffee station has some funny signs at it lol. My friends actually ate and loved it. The Cafe has a large indoor seating area and small outdoor seating area. The bathrooms were clean too. Parking available on the street. The staff was friendly, smiling and hardworking. This place was clean, very clean! Loved it!“
“We liked the food in the past this time however the jambalaya was way too spicy...I also ordered sautéed green beans which were sautéed in garlic which is fine however the green beans were COATED in garlic which actually looked like a coating on them... until you took a bite!So this time my husband ordered the jambalaya and ordered it low spice which was perfect!!! He said perfect amount of spice....I ordered the baby back ribs with the sweeter root beer sauce and they were very tasty..... our server holli could not have been nicer came back just the right amount of times and was on point!!! Big shout out to her!!!“
“Came here for the first time with my mother and husband today. The semi enclosed patio was so nice. The food was awesome, burgers were delicious. The service was quick and friendly. It was her first day and she did amazing.!!The prices were surprisingly low for the quality of the food. There was 3 of us and we even ordered an appetizer and our bill was only $50! An insanely great value in today’s economy. The owner of this establishment greeted us on our way in, he also stopped by our table to check in on everything and then told us goodbye when we left. It was a nice touch and made us feel very welcome.Overall it was one of the most pleasant dining experiences I’ve had in the past 5 or so years that I’ve lived in this area. and we will definitely be back again.!!“
