“Came here for my birthday and had a solid meal. The cheese curds were pretty good but the accompanying sauces weren't terrific. My wife got the tomato basil, which was delicious and would definitely get again. I really enjoyed the brisket melt but I thought it could have used more sauce options. The mushroom au jus was nice but more liquid would have gone a long way. Definitely want to go back for all the other things on the menu I was interested in.“

“What a pleasant surprise! What looks like a small no nothing restaurant has wonderful food inside. I had the shrimp with lemon sauce and it was outstanding, my girlfriend had the Mac cheese Alfredo with chicken again also wonderful. Be aware, the portions are huge.enjoy“

“Never had a bad thing from Chuggers. The only downside, on some nights service can be rough, but that's expected. And some of the pool league people are douchebags, in my experience. That's my biggest issue with "atmosphere". But during sporting events everyone is amazing!“

“The burgers were soooo goood!!! The fries were also yummy!! The bartender was nice. At first I thought if you weren't a regular you wouldn't be welcomed, but after a while we were chatting like we belonged The ambiance is definitely dive bar - but the food we had was good!“

“AUTHENTIC/DELICIOUS!!! My husband and I have traveled in Burma/Myanmar, Thailand and many places in SE Asia - and we were very impressed with the quality of the food and the portions at Leyh Thai Restaurant. The decor is also very pleasant and would be ideal for a quiet romantic meal or larger gatherings (birthdays, etc.). We had lunch there recently for my husband's birthday and noticed there were few customers. They do a larger take-out business, but I'm writing this review in hopes that folks in the Akron/Cuyahoga Falls/Tallmage/Kent/Fairlawn area will consider enjoying a meal there in person for lunch and/or dinner. “I have not a bad meal yet. Although I've never had time to dine in, I love that I xan call in my order and it's ready when they say it will be. The food is delicious, I was surprised by the negative reviews I read but realized they where 6 and 8 years old. All I can say is that I love this place.“

“Definitely a nice quiet dark dive bar. Table was a little sticky. Waitress was sincerely kind and friendly. They were out of wings the night we came, on a Wednesday. Had a burger instead. The hamburger bun was grilled nicely and everything tasted really good. Good music and friendly patrons. You get the feeling that the bar is a little understaffed. Like everything else these days. But it's not having items on the menu is not acceptable to me. Especially wings. I know they're hard to get and they're expensive. But you are charging more than $15 for a dozen. You should have them. I'm giving four stars because the Lady bartender was very kind and the food was pretty good. Husbands "specialty" fries were a bit on the greasy side.“

“I often stop here while out riding with my friends for a beer and a burger. It's kind of old school with many tables which they move around to accommodate the number of people in your party. The major emphasis is the bar, and it's clean, with courteous bartenders and servers. Not really a place to visit for an upscale dinner, although I've never had a bad sandwich there. Nice place to stop in for a sandwich and a cocktail.“

“Met a few friends for dinner and drinks last week on the patio. Our server was very busy but was still very attentive. Every time she passed by our table, she made sure to see if we needed anything. Our food came out in a timely manner. We were impressed with the generous portions. I had the steak philly sandwich which was excellent. The manager Billie Rae came over and welcomed us, checked on us to see if we were enjoying our meals and then stopped by the table when we were checking out to thank us and invite us to come back. We will definitely be back.“

“My wife and I ordered the spaghetti dinner. The sauce was water. It had no flavor other then water. The bartender acts like your invisible. When I went to pay the bill I was asked how was everything. I said awful. She just says sorry to hear that. 60 bucks waisted.“

“We were in town for a concert and decided to stop by Ray's for a late lunch/early dinner. Ray's is a super casual townie bar. Service was quick and friendly. They offer a good variety of local beer options as well as old standards. My husband ordered the cheeseburger and onions rings. They were great, he said the burger tasted fresh off the bbq! I ordered the poutine fries - the serving is more than enough to share with a group and oh was it good. The meat was smoky and delicious and the fries were crisp- so good. We would definitely recommend Ray's and return if we're in town!“

“Great private little sports bar! No drama, clean and freshly renovated, with Local and National sports on TVs everwhere!! Great cheap foods n fun tucked away off Akron's Main street n North Hill area--Hidden gem starting to bloom. “I've been on the patron side of bars going on 4 decades in 50 states. I have to give this bar credit where credit is due. Of all the bars in Akron, this one is the cleanest and classiest by far. Of course I could find some things that they could improve upon. No bar is perfect. But this one comes close. Cleanest restrooms, friendly staff, prices are decent. They doing it right. Upscale slightly older crowd. Highly recommend.“

“This is one of my favorite local haunts. Bummed that this past weekend they were out of some appetizers but we love Carol and Susie who are amazing bartenders and the Pepper Jack Chicken Soup is one of our favorites! Can never go wrong with our oakies and a few drinks.My only complaint was that our potato skins and fries were soaked in grease.“
