“We ordered a salad topped with salmon, French Onion Soup and the sirloin and mashed potatoes. The salad was crisp and fresh, and the salmon served medium as ordered. It was very good. The French onion soup was excellent with plenty of onions in a tasty broth. The sirloin was cooked medium as ordered. It tasted great but was a bit tough to chew. Service was very good - friendly and efficient.“

“Started with a great cocktail at the bar. Bartender was exceptional. Meet a great young couple at the bar. Had dinner in the bar area. Waiter Joe was very knowledgeable and was able to get me the last elk chip which was just amazing. Chef did a great job and also prepared my wife's steak perfectly. “The bartender was really nice. We talked about our pets. Seems to be a place where regulars hang out (I was with my friend whose hometown is Hudson and she was super familiar with it). A friend I used to have told me it's a swinger's bar, but I didn't investigate that claim, haha. We didn't have any food. My friend and I were having an after dinner drink and then we left. Pretty nice end to a girls' night on a Thursday.“

“My friend group have come here for dinner 3 times, and we’ve had consistent good experiences. One of us gets sushi, and has really liked all of the different rolls. One of us is vegetarian and all options have been delicious. Then one has gotten the beef and chicken skewers and loves the katsudon. We have enjoyed everything that we’ve tried and the staff is very friendly. We usually go in around 5PM when they open for dinner, and it usually isn’t busy. We all recommend trying this place! Everything is clean and nothing feels too close together. The atmosphere and seating are pretty open.Vegetarian options: I am unsure if all of the sauces are vegetarian or not, but there is a category with around 10 options that are marked as vegetarian and some vegetarian appetizers as well.“

“The restaurant was a very sports grill atmosphere like- included many large screen TV's. Food (BURGERS) were awesome. Must be handmade onion rings...different and extremely tasty ?. Side sause with meal was also not common, but was uncommonly tasty too! From beginning to end, it was a wonderful adventure.“

“This place is great for either a casual lunch or a nice dinner date. The atmosphere feels nice without feeling pretentious. The place is very wheelchair accessible with on street parking. I had the lamb and the beet and goat cheese salad and they were both fantastic! They also had a great gluten free cake. I told my husband I was leaving a review and he said I only needed one word - yummy!“

“Food is quite delicious and the oysters the one's I consumed were fresh. Service is ok. Maybe a bit more friendly. I'm not a regular though. Ambiance is a bit distracting and different music can be a bit loud. I've only been there a few times. However I do continue to go back. Check it out for yourself. I would say it's worth it.“

“Food and vibes at The River Merchant were so good! Probably the best Caesar salad I've ever had, and the added blackened chicken was perfect. Our server Lorelei was great, and suggested leaving our beer cheese behind from the pretzel app for our fries which was such a clutch suggestion. The salmon croquettes were also delicious. Lots of wins at this restaurant, definitely would recommend.“

“Bar Lucci is the newest bar in Kent and honestly one of the best! They have live music all the time, ping pong, cheap AND amazing drinks, and a GREAT patio! If you plan on traveling to Kent and never been before, make sure to add Bar Lucci to your list of places you can’t miss!“

I’m not vegetarian but i definitely noticed the dishes and they sounded so yummy!Parking: Easy access with plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: Smiling faces and two sides to the restaurant. This way you don’t have to have kids near the bar area.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp that goes to the doors. Not automatic doors so have someone to help otherwise wonderful access.“

“Never had a bad thing from Chuggers. The only downside, on some nights service can be rough, but that's expected. And some of the pool league people are douchebags, in my experience. That's my biggest issue with "atmosphere". But during sporting events everyone is amazing!“

Menu said the onion rings where beer batter but the where breaded. We prefer beer batter. Over all I would say it was almost a 5 star. Staff was friendly and attentive.Wheelchair accessibility: The do have handicapped parking and once in the restaurant it all on one floor.“

“Typical visit for me: walk in, sit at an open booth, check the current (and ever-changing) menu, order a selection that I may not have ever tried before, get on the phone to Lucci's Place next door and order a pizza, walk next door to pick it up, order another selection, enjoy myself.The guys and girls that work there are great--very service-oriented and very knowledgeable.They have been working on a renovation for a few months and it's all very secret! “The food is always consistent here, you know just what to expect. Great fries ! Always fresh ,hot and tasty. The Rueben is my goto but the patty melt and chicken sandwiches are great too. The wait staff is professional, polite and efficient .My only complaint is it gets a bit noisy when it's packed but to be expected in an old building such as this.“

“Relaxing cocktail bar with dim lighting, unique furniture, indoor and patio accommodations. Kitchen food is limited but good. The stars of the show are the strong, unique cocktails. The Lavender Bees Knees is a must have every time I go there, but the drink menu does change. I go to this business frequently. The only reason not 5 stars is the service. I've had too many negative service interactions to give 5 stars. Even so, I still recommend this business to everyone I know who enjoys a stiff drink. Call ahead because this place is usually very busy.“

“We were in town for a concert and decided to stop by Ray's for a late lunch/early dinner. Ray's is a super casual townie bar. Service was quick and friendly. They offer a good variety of local beer options as well as old standards. My husband ordered the cheeseburger and onions rings. They were great, he said the burger tasted fresh off the bbq! I ordered the poutine fries - the serving is more than enough to share with a group and oh was it good. The meat was smoky and delicious and the fries were crisp- so good. We would definitely recommend Ray's and return if we're in town!“

“I've been on the patron side of bars going on 4 decades in 50 states. I have to give this bar credit where credit is due. Of all the bars in Akron, this one is the cleanest and classiest by far. Of course I could find some things that they could improve upon. No bar is perfect. But this one comes close. Cleanest restrooms, friendly staff, prices are decent. They doing it right. Upscale slightly older crowd. Highly recommend.“

Bummed that this past weekend they were out of some appetizers but we love Carol and Susie who are amazing bartenders and the Pepper Jack Chicken Soup is one of our favorites! “Great drinks and people at this smaller neighborhood bar. Located one street off the main road we found Chestnut Beer Garden on our walk from the falls to our hotel. The people were very welcoming, the beer was cold, appetizer food was good, and they have Keno. Definitely a great find when you are in the area.“
