“First time here. Reserved online and seated right away. They were out of several items. Ordered drinks, appetizer and steak. Their order system seemed confusing to the server as well as us. They don’t serve bread, so waiting well over an hour for our dinner, we became bored and a little frustrated. It would have been nice if our server checked on us or kept us updated.. but that didn’t happen. Finally approached the owner, who did his best to get things moving. Apologized and comped a dessert and drink, but after nearly 2 hours and 10 min. Before closing we packed up the rest so we could leave. Expensive for all we went through. Not sure if we’ll try it again or not. The steak was excellent; salmon overcooked and had to ask for missing sides.“

“Overall a good experience. We went on a Friday around 130pm and we waited about 15 minutes to be seated. We were surprised to see every table full.The staff was very kind. We did have to ask for crayons 3 times to go along with the kids menus but we're assuming that was due to how busy everyone was.The food was typical comfort food. Kids had a few options and were pretty good portions. Drinks were extra.Not a ton of vegetarian options but they do have a 4 sides combo which allows you to pick all vegetarian sides.Vegetarian options: Items on the sides section do denote they contain meat to help pick selections. “Taggarts is a good old fashioned Ice Cream establishment...and it is FANTASTIC! They also have excellent food on their restaurant menu. The homemade texture and QUALITY of Taggarts ice cream is a Canton and Stark County mainstay. Pure quality. There is no substitute.Parking: Parking is limited to on street parking. Not ideal but also very doable. Regardless, Taggarts is worth the trip!“
