Parking: Everyone that I met working here was extremely friendly! The flavor of the curry I ordered was wonderful but the consistency was thinner than almost anywhere else I have been. Not bad, just a surprise when I opened it.
The portion size for the fried was huge. I got three meals out of it!!”

“Stopped in before an event at the Pinnacle, which is less than two miles away. The Sabas have served great food for years and this spot does not disappoint. The food was fresh and good, wait staff was pleasant. I found they have online ordering and will use that feature next time. Highly recommend. They also have really good Lobster Bisque!”

“We ate at the Don Juan Mexican Bar & Grill - Maumee, 551 W Dussel Dr, Maumee, OH 43537 and had the best service I have had in a long time. Gina, our waitress, was very nice and offered to let me use her nail glue because my sandal broke. She helped me pick an amazing drink and made sure our party was happy with everything we got. It is nice to see people actually care about the people they are serving and not just the pay check they are getting. We will definitely be going back and hopefully Gina will be there with here bright smile!”

“I got a custom order of cookies themed for a play. All the people I talked to while making it happen were kind and helpful. They made 2 custom samples for a cookie I wanted in the set, so I could see the options, and I paid less than I’d anticipated for the size of the custom order. Of course they were delicious! I will constantly have them as an ace in my sleeve, and would recommend them for any special occasions around Toledo.”

“Great service and decent food, the restaurant appears to be a bit dated and could be remodeled. The seats in our booth had a large amount of patches from being either cut or worn out. Besides that it's a decent place. The blooming onion maker was also out of service.”

“Every time I've gone to Beer Barrel (whether this specific location or a different one) the food has been tasty and fairly-priced.

When I went today, the waitress (I feel bad that I forget her name since she deserves a shout-out!) was extremely attentive to our group and she made sure our waters were topped-off before we could even ask. However, waiters/waitresses from past visits were not as attentive. To be fair, today's waitress set a high standard ^_^

For today's visit I ordered a Reuben sandwich. It was quite tasty, but I do wish there would have been more sauerkraut. Other people in our group also noticed their orders were light on the sauerkraut, so if you're big sauerkraut fans (like us) then you may want to ask for extra. All-in-all I think everyone enjoyed the food they ordered. No one's order was wrong or cold or anything like that, and everyone's food came out at one time. In past visits the food has always been acceptable and enjoyable, but rarely does it exceed my expectations.

The restaurant atmosphere is exactly as you'd expect based off the name. There are plenty of wooden decorations (including big beer barrels) as well as a few metallic accents to the atmosphere to draw out that "pub" feel. However, unlike some pub-style restaraunts, Beer Barrel has never been rowdy or anywhere that I'd feel uncomfortable taking kids. It is definitely a dining experience that welcomes the whole family!

All-in-all, Beer Barrel is an enjoyable establishment with a diverse menu (and drink menu) to choose from. I'd recommend giving it a try sometime if you haven't!

Parking: This restaraunt is located at an outdoor mall. There is plenty of parking at the mall, but you may have to walk a slightly longer distance than you would for a restaraunt with its own dedicated parking lot.

Kid-friendliness: If you dislike your kids being in an atmosphere where alcohol may be present, then this may not be your first choice. Other than that, I'd consider this restaraunt to be very kid-friendly. It isn't quaint or quiet, but it isn't rowdy or out-of-control in any way. It is really a pizza grill first and foremost, with the pub-style taking a backseat. There are TVs on the walls that show sports like baseball or football, and I did not see anything that could be considered indecent on any of the televisions. There are plenty of menu options, so there's a solid chance that the kiddos will find something they like (even if that ends up just being cheese pizza). My group was all adults with the exception of one teenager, so I'm not sure if they offer kid-specific menus (with crayons, etc.) or not.”

“We ate here for the first time. Ordered carry out. It was ready in 25 minutes or sooner. We ordered BBQ chicken and a cheese. The BBQ chicken is probably the best bbq chicken pizza I have had. The cheese was good as well. We will definitely be ordering more!”

There ovens went down and they were really behind. She was slammed trying to get orders out but still noticed how long we were waiting. “My daughter turned 10 last week and she was so excited to have a Pink Dancer birthday cake made by the Cookie Company!? I picked it up today, took it home and put it in the microwave to keep it safe from my food driven Golden Retriever!! However, a family member took it out of the microwave to warm something up and forgot to put it back in and the dog ate a 1/4 of the cake!! I immediately brought it back to the Cookie Company and they were EXTREMELY understanding and made me a new one within 15 minutes at no extra cost!!!?♥️ Their customer service is top-notch here!!! I would highly recommend??? ? ??”

“Panera is one of my “Go -To’s”, a standard for many other places, a role model for their niche market. I am a charter member if the Sip-Club, and highly recommend it.

Like many chains, there are differences, sometimes subtle and sometimes blatant, between specific locations. My favorite Panera location is in Perrysburg, the other side of the Maumee River from this location. This Maumee location is open, airy, and welcoming… yet colder, less clean and tidy, and slower than Perrysburg and a few others.

We frequently go into places, already familiar, with the place and menu, and even knowing what we’re planning to order… but we still like to ask for recommendations. The girl at the counter cringed a bit while saying, “I really don’t like our sandwiches, but I’m not much of a sandwich girl.” I always appreciate honesty, but I was not expecting that.

Overall, a good visit. If this location had been my first impression of Panera, I’d be pleased, and also pleased to return.”

“Just picked up chicken fried rice on way home and it is amazing! This is the second time recently I have done this and it was delicious and hot both times. I always love the smoothies from here but I highly recommend the family size chicken fried rice. It's a huge portion and we get like 3 meals out of it. Even the sautéed chicken in it is yummy. Not the mystery meat some Asian place dump in there. Tender yummy sliced white meat chicken. Thank you magic wok team! Great job!”

Everything was hot. No mistakes on my son's plain whooper with cheese (he's picky). The kids meal for my other son was also perfect. The fries...The drinks...Stark was an excellent customer service associate. We didn't even have to ask for condiments, he asked us. Where we're from we don't get that kind of experience. Our food is always cold, never done right and they always forget the ketchup. I am in total shock right now. Please give this place the praise they deserve.........”
