“Stopped here on my way from Philadelphia to Michigan-- seemed like a good spot to get dinner. Great experience. The owner came by to introduce himself and chat. He gave us a complimentary bowl of pasta. Service was snappy and very polite. Pizza was excellent. One of my favorite things in traveling around is finding a gem like this where I didn't really expect it. My son was a little taken aback by the small-town hospitality-- gotta get him out of the East Coast Amtrak corridor a bit more“

“The milkshake was delicious and wonderfully ridiculous. Also???!! Lindsay was wonderful??!! We were here for a costumed event and she was all for it., complimenting us and all. She made great conversation as we ordered and was very patient with the complicated orders guests sitting next to us three at her. She remembered our hefty drink order and read our minds when we needed more coffee. She brought coffee to go before we even asked and that was the cherry on top. “A gem we just happened to stop at on the way back to Elyria from Port Clinton. The service was friendly and just the right amount of attentive. I ordered the Seafood Chowder and the Walleye dinner. The Chowder itself was worth the visit. A creamy explosion of flavor, little bits of deliciousness in every bite. Served hot with crackers & dinner rolls, which IMO were not necessary, the chowder was that good. The walleye came piping hot with Berardi's outstanding hand cut French fries. I can't stress enough how good the fries were. A large filet with just enough breading came crispy on the outside and cooked just right on the inside. I brought home one of their famous chocolate chip cookies. Looks yummy, but I haven't tastes it yet. We will definitely be returning!“

“Great pick! Very clean and quaint diner atmosphere. Avocado Bowl was a 5 out of 5 but didn't get a picture. All food was hot, fresh and yummy! “Popped into this great lil spot while in the area, lucked into an immediate table that had just opened up as we arrived. Enjoyed a great home cooked breakfast, the family liked their omelets and hash browns. I thoroughly enjoyed my bacon & eggs on a perfectly toasted bagel.And we shared a tasty cinnamon roll for dessert.“

This place was small, chill, had plenty of parking and if you are in the area for Cedar Point or any other reason it's definitely worth the stop. Every time I go to Ohio I'm always shocked by the prices of food and how cheap everything is. We had dinner for 6 with drinks and apps for around 100$. That's no east coast pricing folks! Highly recommend this place.“

“I know its a little long ago but it deserves to be said. My wife and I took the kids here a few years ago and it had to be the best meal we had the whole trip. “What a great find! Was out traveling the backroads of Erie County and stumbled across this most excellent winery. But to define it simply as such would be an injustice to what they do. With a vineyard, fruit tree orchard, full kitchen, gift shop and the most excellent donut truck, this place rocks! The main attraction is a beautifully decorated chalet. Did a flight of every wine they had. Ended up loving three of them, including the Chardonnay, Bourbon Barrel Aged Apple wine, and the Pinnacle Rrd. Got a bottle of Chardonnay for the table and took the other two home. Service was crazy good. Brooke was attentive, quick, and had the nicest smile you've ever seen. She should be on the silver screen! Super friendly, the manager, I think her name was Emily, sat down at our table and exquisitely described each wine while we sampled the precious nectars. The owner also stopped by and explained how he's the third generation of Scottish immigrants growing up on the land we sit on, where his great great grandfather planted the pear trees still producing fruit today. Seeing that this was Mother's Day, they went over the top with a free bouquet of flowers for the moms in our family. Tried the donuts and thought I was going to heaven. Can't wait to stumble across this place again!“

“Was very loud as the place was packed with a mostly older crowd that couldn't hear that well.Found this gem while looking for a place to eat and kill time due to the nonstop rain on my visit to nhra.Didn't get her name, but "Kentucky Blue" was awesome at her job.Hope this restaurant sticks around if I'm able to return next year.Must visit if you are nearby.“

“Food was excellent. My BPLT with pear pepper jelly...TASTY! My wife's shrimp/lobster sliders (3) were scrumptious! I ate the third one. Solo entertainer set the mood. The wait staff was cordial. The corn field surrounding the winery was 6" tall. Can't wait to come back when the corn is high!!“

“First time but it sure wont be the last!! They are serving $15 burgers here WITH fries or tots for ONLY 11.99!!! We started off with a Bavarian pretzel app and it was delicious!! Hot and soft with beer cheese and honey mustard. I got the bacon egg and cheese burger and they were happy to add some Mayo-the egg drizzled right through the bun-a m a z I n g ! ! My sweet wife went for the chicken fajita wrap with tots and it was incredible!! Great price, food and atmosphere!! “Took the fam here to dine in for dinner after a day at the water park. It’s a cute little family run restaurant with all the Mexican staples. Custom carved tables and chairs give it a good vibe and the people working were very friendly. We eat a lot of Mexican when we travel because our children have egg and dairy allergies. It’s usually a safe bet because everything is scratch made and the kitchens can adjust to our needs. This chance happened to pay off because Casa Real makes their own tortilla chips and they use a completely separate frier when cooking them! Happy kids yay. They then accommodated for the allergies with freshly made fajitas. I had the best enchiladas I’ve ever tasted in my life. The carnitas that came with the enchiladas Jalisco were ridiculous. Melt in your mouth and full of flavor. The enchilada sauce that another reviewer said was like marinara was in fact nothing like marinara. It was definitely different than the usual thin enchilada sauce most places make. It had a depth of flavor that was so amazing. A little tangy and smoky. I told my wife I wanted to come back for dinner the next day on our way home because the meal was that good.“

“A truly unique experience. Even though it is early October the deck is still inviting. Overlooking the bay it's warm and friendly.We sat inside because the misty rain that was on and off. Your greeted with warn and friendly hellos from the staff. Abbie(sp) was our server/bartender. One word... Excellent!!! Attentive yet not overbearing and as busy as the place was she was on top of it. Now for the good part. We ordered the Spinach Dip to start, creamy, fulll of flavor,and a huge portion, then the mains My wife had a Cobb Sala with the Avocado Bacon Ranch dressing. It was a Large salad,way more than she could eat, of course I tasted it was delish. I had the Walleye Platter with twisted Fries. Yep Grandslam is the best way to describe it. Noy greasy. Not fishy smelling, and a perfect portion size. It is worth the drive to Huron to eat there, and you will be making plans to go back. One more thing, Make sure Chris has a Black Tee shirt in your size, light blue is fine, but next time I'll get black“

“Literally the best fold over I’ve ever had, anywhere, I wasn’t real sure about a folded over pizza, but I like different, and the pizza brothers gyro fold over did not disappoint, it was delivered quick and steaming hot, and the combination of a gyro/pizza then folded over on top of itself sounded intriguing and was quite possibly the best of both worlds. So glad I gave it a shot, my only issue now is which fold over I’m going to try next time!!“

“We always enjoy Hibachi and this was one of the best! Our Hibachi chef had a great sense of humor and sense of showmanship. Food was well seasoned and prepared. The waitress was attentive and quick with beverage refills. Our 6 year old loves the pond and colorful lights. “The Bob Evans in Norwalk is a great place to eat. I love the southwest avocado chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy and fresh fruit. The biscuits are wonderful. Our waitress (Kaitlyn) is always friendly and knows just what I like. She always serves our food with a smile. Keep up the good work. ?“
