“We had a wonderful, private dinner event at Carlo & Johnny last weekend. There were 11 of us in our party and most of us had never been to C&J before (we live in Hyde Park and typically frequent the Precinct and Ruby’s locations). We loved our first experience at C&J. This historic property was beautiful and well-appointed, the service was top notch, and as always, the steaks were terrific and the wine list was extensive! It was a great evening in the burbs!“
“We had a great date-night at Tony’s! Paul was our server and was amazing. He was personable, went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect, and had great menu suggestions. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the portions were great. Paul suggested the cheesecake and it delivered! Great service, great food, and a great night!“
“The food was good. Service was good. My only problem is that a mistake was made were I was charged with my friends food for $134 when my bill was $28.03. The waitress and manager fixed the mistake but there was never a simple "sorry" or "we apologize".Still a good place to eat.“
“Our first time here, we decided to go somewhere different for our 10th anniversary, my husband got the aged ribeye & I got the grilled salmon , everything was very good , waiter was very attentive. They also brought us a dessert plate , that had Happy Anniversary written on it in chocolate, with cheesecake ( that was delicious)“
“Let me being by saying that this was the second time in my life that my wife and I have had a meal so good that we bought drinks for the entire restaurant staff. We went last night and this meal was the best we've ever had in Cincinnati. We began with the oysters and the bone marrow. If you've never had bone marrow like we hadn't, get it. I'm telling you that it's sublime. That was followed with the seasonal spring salad. I know this is a steakhouse and they do their steak as well as anyone, but I've never had a salad that good. It was the single best bite of the meal! After the salads, they brought out our 4oz petit filets, fingerling potatoes, and sauteed mushrooms and onions. We prefer to have small steaks and let it be an element of the meal rather than the meal itself and I'm so glad we did! The entire meal was delicious and I'd hate to have ordered a larger steak and missed out on the opportunity to try some of their other menu items. Finally, we wrapped up the meal with a creme brulee for each of us (they had two types so we got one of each and shared). Creme brulee is my favorite dessert and The Lonely Pine didn't disappoint!I can't wait to go back. I've been talking to folks at work about it all morning and several of them are excited to try the place as well.GO. Enjoy your night out. You won't be disappointed in taking my recommendation.Parking: We had no trouble finding street parking within 30 feet of the restaurant. They also have a free parking lot directly across the street.“
“Vegetarian options: Not very good for vegetarians. My wife got the Country Veg plate and it came with a hunk of steak bleeding into the baked potato. The server then told us the baked potatoes are also not vegetarian and rubbed in bacon grease. She had to get Mac and cheese instead.“
“The server and food were good, but this place loses a star due to the manager on duty. Seriously corporate needs to review this guys attitude. He was a older larger guy, that was just conceding to just about everyone. I luckily didnt have to deal with him, but just from observation, he talked down to two different parties in the 5 mins I was waiting, questioning if they knew what location they called ahead, telling them they can stay or just leave, etc. I get it was busy and stressful, but if you cant deal with it, then buddy you are in the wrong business.“
“Went again tonight. All my food was good. My waitress i felt definitely ignored our table, besides this I did notice bathrooms were cleaner it again was a week night and busy, but not busy enough to ignore our table out of her rest.*****We dined in for my birthday, it was on a Tuesday. Going to be honest here. OUTBACK wasn't my 1st choice or my second, due to distance. I won't mention the 2 other steakhouses cause they do compete with outback. When I called these other 2 restaurants we were asking if we could reserve/ how long of a wait time to be seated. The 1st place said at 2 in the afternoon that they had already booked up their reservations but we could still call back later to see wait time. We waited till around 630pm and called again and asked if any reservations had been cancellled(no) how long was the wait? 55-90 min. Called second place they also said they didn't take reservations and the wait at that time was an hour. We considered driving a little further if OUTBACKS wait time was shorter. We call. Nice girl answers, we ask if we need reservations, nope, how long is the wait, she says actually have hardly anything going on right now. So there shouldn't be a wait at all. Well we end up at OUTBACK in Anderson on 5 mile rd. It wasn't busy at all but its a Tuesday so I dint expect anywhere to be busy anyway. Right away we were seated and had drinks. The waitress was super. She made sure all our food came out when it was supposed to. Instead moat places will bring your appetizers and your salads then ten min later your hit with main course. Not them. Let us enjoy our drinks she put in the app and told us she wouldn t put out food in till after she got me my salad so it didn't all come like back to back. I didn't feel rushed. All the food was perfect. Drinks were great!! My only complaint was the bathrooms. Thats why I gave it 4 stars. I noticed too many cobwebs in the corners of bathroom and hand and footprints in bathroom stall walls. There wasn't any toilet paper in my stall either. Or any paper towels in the dispenser I had to get the to from the next stall. Good thing they weren't busy for someone to see me!! But besides that everyone told me happy bday everyone welcomed us and told us goodbye and to come back. Id rather go somewhere thats not packed with people or where the staff is short and so busy they can't concentrate on me and the money I'm spending. They followed all ppp they were great!!Parking: Handicap ♿️ parking availableKid-friendliness: Kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: They have access“
“Montana and crew did an outstanding job to accommodate our group of 22. They went above and beyond, and our stay exceeded expectations. We had many reservation changes over the past few months, and they were very flexible and did all they could to make our stay the best that it could be. For example, they bent over backwards to make sure we were all on one floor and had adjoining rooms. Every single staff person we met at the hotel was friendly and willing to help. The property was perfect for our reunion - the indoor and outdoor pools were great for the kids, and the lobby was a great place to hang out. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and up-to-date. We definitely want to come back!“
“Alright, let's start with service. The host seated us quickly, however, didn't say anything as we walked to our table and didn't say anything after setting us. He just walked away awkwardly. The waitress, Makala, I believe, was very pleasant!! She was right there after we sat, got our drink orders, and took care of us promptly! The food... the food is good. However, they REALLY need to go easier on the salt!! The fries weren't horrible, but the chicken, wow! And I thought McDonald's was heavy-handed with the salt!Overall, great experience.“
“We had dinner here today with a party of four. I had the ribs, mash potatoes and a caesar's salad. My wife had the wings and a salad. The others had steaks (No complaints and they ate all their food). My meal and my wife's were pretty good, better than I expected. Our server Hailey was very good and she managed several large tables at the same time. The restaurant was clean and everyone was friendly. We hope to return.“
“My boyfriend and I went to the Easter Brunch Buffet and it was fabulous! The Shrimp was my favorite along with the Lamb and Garlic mashed potatoes. They also have really amazing coffee, we had a seat by the windows and our waiter Donny was top notch. We can't wait to come back for other occasions, this is our new favorite restaurant.Dietary restrictions: The regular menu has tons of gluten free options.“
“TR is great for a steak dinner, or for just apps.We were seated in the bar surround without being told that was happening. At the time I wasn't aware that we would have one of the bartenders as our waiter. Soon learned that however. Bartenders are busy, busy with the whole restaurant's bar orders. They don't have time to wait the surrounding tables. As you may have guessed, our service could have been better this trip out...Otherwise the food was good and the wait wasn't too bad.Parking: They have expanded the lot so it's better, but it still gets packed on the weekends.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, a wheelchair is doable.“
